Trump said he would meet with Putin on the sidelines of next week's G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan, but the Kremlin noted that the White House hasn't formally requested the meeting yet.
The Kremlin is sincerely hoping the request comes soon.

Trump makes decisions based on what's good for the American people. A lot of people don't seem to get this.

Nah, you're just wearing your usual partisan blinders while going down the tunnel of small vision. Those of us who are suffering directly from his administration and the GOP's actions and "policies" do get that he's only doing whats good for Trumps self and his cronies, not the American people (ALL OF US, not just the select few). You don't seem to get it because you apparantly aren't being affected by it negatively. The rich get richer, the middle class and the poor get poorer. How was that tax cut? And now trying to milk for a war? Apparantly the lesson hasn't been learned from the Bush Jr. era. The GOP cut taxes, put up a war, drove up the deficit, broke the economy (for a cash grab for the wealthy and corporate elitists)... and the exact same thing is being set up to happen again. There are warnings that our country is going to be hit again starting next year. With the trade war going on that Trumpy boy started it's questionable if the US will be able to recover like last time barely a decade ago...

Putin is thinking about that pipeline, Iran, Syria and collapse of his government. Russia hasn't been as industrial as Communist China. China is also putting the screws to Russia. The locals are complaining about Chinese companies shipping tons of people to their projects in Russia. They are screwing the locals out of jobs and sending the money back home to China.
Russia's economy is hurting something serious. They need control of that pipeline through Syria, they need the EU to collapse because their new Soviet union is sucking, and they need US to lose their credibility and allies. Dump is Puuti kins' gift that keeps on giving!

The US will not go to war with Iran or North Korea regardless of what they do. The US will just go as far as sanctions and empty threats. So no worries.
