Big brave Putin has no plans to leave the safety of his bunker

Did anyone really think Putin would come?

Good! Why would he attend the funeral of a history denying, hereditary politicos glorification ceremony?

Good! Why would he attend the funeral of a history denying, hereditary politicos glorification ceremony?

Conversely, why would anybody want a murderous dictator to attend the funeral of their slain former PM?

Shaky Putler wasn't even welcome.

Bad enough taxes being used to pay for an LDP event, certainly don't want them used to welcome/entertain/accommodate a scumbag.

I thought Japan had sanctioned the Gremlin anyway.

Reckon he’s still going to G20?

He rsvp’d that little soirée.

Let’s hope they have small tables and big windows.

In a similar vein, I have independently decided that I will not attend Kim Kardashians next birthday party.

Abe and Putin. Two cheeks of the same arse.

Uhhh, duh?

At least half the planet would love a crack at him.

He’s got more pressing issues. Like losing a colonel every week.

Vladimir Putin has been responsible for far far more suffering and people's deaths than Shinzo Abe ever has. Looks like your hate is clouding your eyesight.

Japan is an important country in the Imperium.

The this is that the Imperium is in the process of becoming a formerly important power, despite it refusing to accept that.

So, no the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT of Russia isn't coming to the funeral where he'd have to politely wait through the ritual abuse by those upset that they can't even force countries they used to overthrow the governments of to wage economic war on Russia for it daring to thwart them.

Garypen..

Conversely, why would anybody want a murderous dictator to attend the funeral of their slain former PM?

So you haven't seen the invitation list then?

Putin ranks pretty low on the death count..... G.W Bush is on the list. You OK with that? Tony Blair?

Putin has a long way to go to get anywhere near their death count.

If he's not attending Abe's funeral Kishida won't be going to his

What would be the point of Putin going to Japan at this point? Would there be any kind of benefit he or Russia will get if he does?

The this is that the Imperium is in the process of becoming a formerly important power, despite it refusing to accept that.

Well, the Russian “Imperium” certainly is. It has less than half the population the USSR did when it collapsed, an economy that is far smaller relative to the US than the Soviet Union’s ever was and a military that is the laughing stock of the world right now.

Yet, unable to accept that, it keeps trying its hand at imperial wars of conquest against its neighbors, with disastrous results.
