The irreversible damage has been done, but of course it now still can be continued or even amplified. Those are the most probable options to be expected.

In a related story, Germans prepare for a post-German era and Europeans prepare for a post-European era.

Good riddance, Merkel. This corrupt globalist has inflicted irreversible damage on Germany. Alas, it looks her misguided policies will continue, probably an establishment coalition.

This corrupt globalist has inflicted irreversible damage on Germany.

Care to explain the corruption, globalism and damage?

Being described as boring would be an insult anywhere else but is a positive vote winner in Germany.

Once this election would have mattered but now even Germany must bow to the dictates of the unelected pen pushers of Brussels.

Polling is open today, Sunday, 26 September at 8:00am to 6:00pm CEST in the federal parliamentary elections. Get out and vote!

In Berlin, and the northern state of Mecklenburg Western-Pomerania, people will vote in the state elections. District elections are also being held in Berlin to elect representatives to each of the district assemblies. In Berlin, they will also vote on the Expropriate Deutsche Wohnen & Co. referendum to decide whether to bring thousands of properties owned by major landlords into state hands.

After 6:00 pm, the provisional election results will be announced by the Federal Returning Officer. These are calculated using exit poll data and published results from local voting. Vote counting continues until Monday, when Municipal and State Returning Officers will declare the official results in their municipalities and states. The Federal Returning Officer then reveals the official general election results for the country. Candidates directly elected through the ‘first vote’ will be allotted their seats in parliament, and the total amount of seats in parliament will be divided among parties according to the percentage of ‘second votes’ received. Then coalition talks and negotiations get underway.

I agree.

I agree.

Sir, it is nice for you to take interest in global affairs, but I doubt Germans care for the opinions of the extreme right wing in America.

just behind the center-left Social Democrats on 25 percent -- well within the margin of error.

Curious that the American right wing is cheering the Left leaning Social democrats, Left, Social and Democrats being the words they hate the most!!!

….or the far left in America as well. We all have the right in the US and international community to opine.

We all have the right in the US and international community to opine.

But dear sir you have mentioned many times you have no interest in international affairs.

….or the far left in America as well

Sir I am happy to inform you the Left leaning party is winning in Germany

But dear sir you have mentioned many times you have no interest in international affairs.

But I can opine.

Sir I am happy to inform you the Left leaning party is winning in Germany

Sad

But I can opine.

And sir I am sure there are people who will care about that, but not people in Germany.

Sad

That's the reaction I expected dear sir.

But you can't help it, the progressives are winning all over the world!

You lived half of your life in Germany you said, several decades and speak fluent German I expect?

I think that was before 1945, Germany has changed a lot since then!!!

Yesterday, you posted you have no interest in European countries. Today you do. You lived half of your life in Germany you said, several decades and speak fluent German I expect?

This post is already out of date.

Bit I can opine.

And sir I am sure there are people who will care about that, but not people in Germany.

That’s ok, this is not a German site.

But you can't help it, the progressives are winning all over the world!

I disagree
