A lot of my homies back home could care less about the presidential election. They can smoke Mary Jane and forget about the rest of the country. Californians been doing that way before this proposition.

This is one thing I hope Japan will follow America's example.

It's the tax thing that I'm thinking is a big gain for California's bankrupt government..

Great, now we'll have potheads and drunks on the road. Tax thing? You can keep your dirty money and BTW, California is not bankrupt.

Doesn't go into affect till 2018, California is still medical use only...The courts measure your blood, Nano count on a scale 1 to 50, There is no law as to what amount is considered impaired. You will still get arrested, you will go to jail, and receive a DUI on your record. Yes, a Marijuana DUI...not as loosy goosy as a lot of People Think...16,000 dollar fine, 1 yr community service...Peace out..

The benefit that hospitals in the state of Washington have seen is the reduction in meth ODs. Marijuana was legalized a year ago there. The meth users have switched because it is easy to buy, cost far less, and gives an adequate high. The switch also has reduced the crime rate because there is no fight over territory by suppliers. The state is the supplier. The problem it does cause is DUI-Marijuana and the availability to anyone under 21 simply from prescription sharing. How to make a million dollars? Develop an accurate DUIM test that does require blood sampling.
