In the U.S., the response has been politicized with Republican President U.S. Donald Trump attacking opponents at the state and city level.

Trump continues his attacks and continues to flip-flop and bungle while the country's health and economic problems worsen. Canada is wise for not following Trump's American way.

Good on Canada! Smart. Wish the US followed the same playbook. After all, Canada learned 1st hand with SARS.

45 isn't willing to learn from anyone else and we have 130K deaths due to that.

Canada would be stupid to open the border now.

Trudeau Jr. is not a brilliant guy as like his father but at least he and his administration take the epidemic seriously and really DO SOMETHING to curb the havocs!  Unlike Donald Trump a despicable businessman who cares nothing but his own fortunes!  "Zero Deaths" at least for now is a very fine job of those efforts has done by Canada!
