There's much talk about impeaching Trump, but little/no talk about Rep. Marjorie Greene submitting articles of impeachment against Biden.

That's because there's about as much chance of that Qanon supporting whackjob's articles getting passed as I do of becoming the next king of England.

Someone trying to raise a ruckus for partisan political reasons by declaring that they were submitting articles of impeachment is pretty de rigeur for the US at this point. In fact, every President since Reagan has had someone submit articles of impeachment against them.

The Republican Party attracted Tea Party wacks, pro-authoritarians, Qanon believers and Trump's bands of white nationalists. The R's know they cannot risk losing these groups because they're well aware they don't have the numbers to challenge the Democrats in a fair election.

The GOP will continue to protect Trump; they won't impeach him. And they'll continue to restrict voting rights to make it a challenge for those they think could vote Democrat.

Republicans have become both anti-democratic and anti-republic.

Now that it's permissible to have Senate trials is actually a good thing. Hopefully, some other former presidents will be brought up on charges for their illegal activities against our Nation while in office.
