Blacklabel - we are the wealthiest nation to ever grace the face of the earth. Don't worry.

No, because Biden and the Democrats knew how much money they had.

they had a choice and they chose to give money to Ukraine instead of Americans.

This is utter nonsense. The US government budget didn't hang on a a few billion dollars. It isn't as if the US government is now unable to "give" money to the American people, whatever that means.

This is just another spurious accusation. If Republicans were in charge, that money still wouldn't go to Americans.

And I doubt very much of any weapons have been able to get to Mariupol recently. If it were so easy to get weapons in, it would have been as easy to get the defenders out. But Mariupol is far from the front. Ukraine is big! It’s nearly as big as Texas.

Because we have no money left, it’s all been given away by Democrats.

To the extent that this statement is true, it is only because Trump and Republicans voted to give corporations massive permanent tax cuts, and temporary tax cuts to the working class.

We can afford to arm Ukraine and we should.

Good job, G7 nations. Thank you for your support!

54billion plus 609 million plus 19.8 billion plus….?

Good. I'm glad we're supplying Ukrainians with weapons to defend themselves. It's a damn good use of taxpayer funds.

It is great to see the western democracies pulling together like this. While the Russians loose equipment at a rate far beyond their ability to replace it, especially armored vehicles, the west is not jus replacing Ukrainian losses but building a larger and better equipped force. Mr. Putin faces a situation similar to what Hitler faced invading Russia, a determined enemy with the power of American lend lease to supply their army. In this instance American and western lend lease is supplying Ukrainian forces against those of Russia. Russia cannot sustain it high losses indefinitely. At some point and probably soon the Russian Army will run out of weapons and vehicles, especially armored vehicles, and then the tide will turn rapidly against Russia.

except they just surrendered and now Russia has all those weapons.

Ukraine didn't just surrender. What are you even talking about? You don't seriously believe that a few hundred soldiers in Mariupol received 10s of billions of dollars in weapons, do you?

Blacklabel - please familiarize yourself with the situation on the ground in Ukraine. Mariupol is just a very small portion of the entire theater.

oh do you know where the weapons and the billions of dollars DID go? You seem pretty certain that none of it went to Azov, despite them really being the only ones even fighting right now.

Where did I say "none of it" went to Mariupol? It is you, not I, that claimed "all those weapons" went to Russia.

I didnt say 10s of billions all went to Azov nor did I say entire Ukraine surrendered.

I'd say less than a billion went to Mariupol considering the logistical challenges associated with delivering the weapons to them, AND the fact that the fighters in Mariupol are less than 1% of Ukraine's total military.

Blocked by mostly Republicans, because we dont have any money left for it.

Right, but the same folks criticizing Democrats, like Biden, will still support Republicans doing this.

G7 countries to provide $19.8 billion in aid to Ukraine:

Wonder if this enormous financial aid is 100% free, without any covert strings attached.

Or else, how will Ukraine be able to pay back, including all the other huge military supplies after the war, win or lose?

Any idea?

thanks taxpayers, exclaimed Putin!

Would be curious to see how you know what they did and didnt get.

I didnt say 10s of billions all went to Azov nor did I say entire Ukraine surrendered. But any money spent for Mariupol wasted, any weapons sent there are not in Russian hands until they are sent to China.

Great job, taxpayers.

56 billion for Ukraine, immediately.

For Americans?
