I had to check I was still on JT. Thought I had somehow ended up on The Onion! This is about as ironic a story as ever was.

She’s a Presidential contender now??

Excuse for hypocrisy from the right #1) She's not running for president (she's only doing his job).

I'll add to this list as they get their talking points and start dispersing them.

If she were running for public office, I would agree with you, but she’s not. But I do think that now at this point she should be doing this anymore.

If she were running for public office

Yeah she's not running for public office, she's running his public office.

Exactly, so because of that, she can make a mistake as long as she learns from it.

Are you even serious ?! Rarely saw such bad faith in someone.

Not a concession many were making to Hilary. But you would think that Ivanka would have got the message when her father repeatedly called for locking up a public servant when she used a non-official website in the course of her public duties.

Someone who cannot take on a message like that should not be in public office.

Yes

Not a concession many were making to Hilary.

She was Secretary of State and front runner for the Democrat party in the Presidential campaign, huge difference, not to mention the access that Hillary had to the most secretive and sensitive documents.

Someone who cannot take on a message like that should not be in public office.

Well, if we go by that, a lot of people in Washington on both sides would be thrown out of office, there’d be nobody left.

You can use personal email for government work as long as you don’t send classified.

Defeaning silence from Daddy Trump and his fanclub.

So Donald Trump now has to lead chants to lock his own daughter up? Awkward.

Epic stupidity by Ivanka. But she will get the same consequences that HRC got. Nothing.

Ivanka shouldn't be working for the President in any capacity. Nepotism without pay is still nepotism.

There is a difference between these emails and HRC's. None to/from/received by Ivanka were classified, which is different from those received by HRC.

Anyone who has held a clearance understands why it is different. There is no proof that HRC ever sent any classified information via email. She did receive classified information from her support people. THAT has been proven. Just read the FBI report about the 70+ threads containing classified information.

OTOH, the State Department email systems had a number of problems under HRC. The IT people there appear to have been incompetent. The email systems were down much of the time and had been hacked by outsiders. As head of the State Department, HRC should have solved those issues. It was certainly in her power.

Well, if we go by that, a lot of people in Washington on both sides would be thrown out of office, there’d be nobody left.

Perhaps we should focus on people whose qualification for public office is that they are the children of the President. It would be far easier if nepotism in public office were illegal then we would not have this problem.

At least Ivanka didn't endanger national security by sending emails with classified information from an unencrypted private server in her house.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Ivanka, Jeb Bush, Colin Powell, Scott Walker, lots of Republicans have used personal email. It's only an issue if the name is Hillary.

Lock her up. No exceptions. Right, Republicans?
