No, the TSA does not make the Gestapo "look like boy scouts".

@brbush Doesn't seem like it anymore.

I agree. How would you compare police in the US with your Russian police? How would you characterize the differences between the two forces?

I've never been to Russia (though I would like to see the Hermitage Museum- founded by a German, if I recall) so I can't give an account from personal experience. However, I've read quite a bit about them and have formed less than positive opinions about their methods. Have you been to the US, or are you - like me - basing your opinion on what you've read.

Chicago is a great city, but the people have been failed by 85 straight years of Democrat control.

This should not be a surprise to anyone. The 1st Mayor Daley gained control of Chicago's City Hall in 1955. Chicago has been exclusively controlled by the Democrat Party ever since.

The confrontation was not created by the police; the confrontation was created by the people who charged the police. Gentlemen, let's get the thing straight, once and for all. The policeman isn't there to create disorder; the policeman is there to preserve disorder. -Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley 1968

It took decades to get the truth about the extreme brutality of the Chicago police. It will likely be buried under Trump.

arrestpaul: The city of Chicago is broken, and you think Trump is going to cover up Rahm Emanuel's, and the Democrat Party's, failures? I don't think so.

And googling 'trump chicago' brings up a recent hit on first page.

Kabukilover - It took decades to get the truth about the extreme brutality of the Chicago police. It will likely be buried under Trump.

LOL. Seriously? You want to blame Trump? The current Mayor of Chicago was Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. The Democrat Party has had control of Chicago for over 60 years. The city of Chicago is broken, and you think Trump is going to cover up Rahm Emanuel's, and the Democrat Party's, failures? I don't think so.
