“severely conservative.”

So the adverbs have finally begun creeping out of the woodwork. While knowledge of how conservative a candidate might be, I fear escalation. "Viciously conservative," "barbarously conservative," "untamedly conservative" - heck, might as well go with "radically conservative" as there's really no reason anymore to pretend to even want to make sense.

Seductively conservative, or in Mitt's case liberally conservative.

I'm not American or conservative, however if I were, I would be soooooo embarrassed not just personally but for my country that this bunch of morally bankrupt, anti-freedom, anti-women hypocrites were the best the conservatives could offer.

Mitt is fiscally conservative, Santorum is socially conservative.

Both want Obama stopped.

Mitt has great business acumen, Santorum appeals to the base.

They could make a good team...

A Rasmussen poll has Santorum, incredibly, leading Obama 45-44. How is this possible? Is this poll somehow twisted or what, ha ha, lol

Thnaks for clearing that up sushi, many of us were un-sure of your stance towards conservatives.

I agree. Repub presidents always need a war. Reagan's War on Drugs. Result. Bush's War on Terror. Result.

Maybe these two could have a War on Sodomite. After all, it's probably only practiced by poor people and liberals. Heh, give me a break.

As if your hero "Mr Obama" has scaled down on either of those fronts. I laugh at all my lib friends whining about how this admin has shot down even medical marijuana. TSA goons in your trousers when you are at the airport ? Thank Obama.

Out of Iraq. Scaling back in Afghanistan.

I'd probably have the same opinion as you if I only watched Fox News, too.

It's a pleasure. Always happy to help. :-)

Dissident journalist Andrew Breitbart was at the conference

"Andrew Breitbart took the podium at CPAC Friday afternoon, introduced to the stage with Rage Against The Machine's Guerilla Radio, and revealed to the audience he had videos of Barack Obama from his college days. "I have videos, this election we're going to vet him,"Breitbart disclosed to raucous applause. "We are going to vet him from his college days to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008."

If there was slime it would have been splurged in 2008. Republicans are far more adept at smear campaigns and screching attack ads.

I'm no fan of Santorum, but the fact is that he is a far more experienced and viable candidate for President than Barack Obama was back in 2007-8. If only Santorum were ethnic, he would sweep to victory.

SS; The US is NOT out of Iraq. Have you seen the plans for the new 'embassy"? It includes a staff of 16,000!! Gee, wonder who they are....

As for Afghanistan, there were about 33000 US troops there when Obama took office. Subseqently, that number reached over 100,000. It ...may... shrink back to Bush-era levels by 2013.

lol, you apparently didn't pay attention in 2008, when the media had nothing but glowing praise for Obama. Indeed, one so-called journo admitted he felt a tingle up his leg, listening to his messiah preach. There was no vetting of Obama by the media. All that mattered to them was that he was black, gave a good speech, and had a D by his name. They were in the tank for him from day 1. What Breitbart was saying, was that they will do the job the mainstream media refused to do 4 years ago.

And regarding smear campaigns, and screeching attack ads, I have to say, that while Republicans have had practice, the Dems have long since mastered the art, and lets not forget the class warfare, and racism cards in their playbook which they play at every opportunity.

Yes, I saw that.

Two things you may not have known:

1/ it's not exactly new - they've been building it for years next to the Tigris.

2/ word came out yesterday the DoD is planning to slash the embassy head count by 50% to 8,000, basically because thanks largely to geedub's wild war spending spree and tax cuts, there's not much money left in the jar.

Republican Denial is an amazing, if not scary phenomena.

You must have been living in a cave. The Goddamn America priest. The heh, "ties to terrorists". It was relentless.

Isn't that kinda racist DS?

The fact that he's a nut is why he'll be sweeping to failure. Fighting tooth and nail with Gingrich for last place.
