1st of all you can see in lots of uploaded videos taken by mobile cameras from inside the attack which shows that they were not sleeping as 1st news claim! But they were gathering and getting ready to face the police! 2nd they got many warnings before the attack and they have had replied with one voice that they won’t leave and let the attack start, all this recorded on videos which u can see on lots of sites now, 3rd the protests in Bahrain it’s religious (Shiite VS Sunni) which is different than the others! And all the world knows who are Shiite and what they do and where they belong! What’s going on and what we can see from online videos, news, rumors, forums … that those protest in Bahrain depending on acting and performing to spread as much lies as possible to win others feelings!! while they eat the best food, they make BBQs, they dance, they watch TV, play PlayStation, smoke shisha, make popcorn, and they live the best life in the pearl place and I’ve seen all of on live pictures which I can give to u all which they send to each other by secret so nobody knows and they can foul everybody!! So what I see and if u want to see it’s just a gameplay by Shiite, even I’ve seen one of the videos shows that they use red paints and run to the police while others from his friends record to montage this as a clip for the news! It’s all documented online by photos and videos, we all got fouled by the news and their weak reporters or I can say that the Shiite are playing the game very well !!!

So, it seems to be your opinion that RT and Aljazeera are just lackeys of the Western media bringing up things because the 'MSM' does? You are mistaken, Aljazeera in particular has brought up the fears surrounding the Muslim Brotherhood, admittedly RT less so. However, it has not usually or always to say they are not significant. Maybe you just haven't been watching that much. Anyway, the lack of coverage must have been disappointing for you as you would want them to talk more about the Western intelligence construct that is the Muslim Brotherhood, that you also think are wonderful.

They are the biggest political block in Egypt. Of course they are significant. How significant remains to be seen and decided by the Egyptian people. I hope they decide to reject them. You do too, right?

As I pointed out to you before, Aljazeera and RT have also focused their comments on the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yeah, they often bring it up because the western MSM focuses on it. But whenever I hear talk about the MB on RT and AlJazeera, its usually, if not always, to say that it is not significant.

The controlled MSM and you choose to focus on the Muslim Brotherhood

As I pointed out to you before, Aljazeera and RT have also focused their comments on the Muslim Brotherhood. As they should, they are the biggest political block in the country. No other block has stepped up to the plate yet. Why shouldn't they focus on them? They are a scary group with a scary agenda. You said you thought they were a Western intelligence construct. So, you find them scary, right? Course, you also said they were wonderful, too. Maybe you should decide how you feel before berating the press for reporting about them? Howz about that?

sabiwabi, the Muslim Brotherhood was a major player in organizing these protests in Egypt. :-) They also support terror in many Middle East countries.

Let's see what happens in Bahrain, but hopefully the winning side will avoid the trap of radical Islam.

LOL! As is the Muslim Brotherhood?

Thank you!

Millions of Egyptians (Muslims, Christians, atheists) rose up against their dictator. The controlled MSM and you choose to focus on the Muslim Brotherhood; considering your other comments, this is not surprising.

Fisk recently gave a good interview from Bahrain, where he described that in the all these protests religious symbols are extremely rare. These are secular revolts, people bring up Islam only to scare the west. Decades ago they scared us with communism, now its Islam.

These uprisings are clearly secular.

LOL! As is the Muslim Brotherhood?

I'm not surprised they would bring up religion.

I'm not too surprised you would either.

from the NY Times................... " The protests here, while trying to mimic those in Egypt and Tunisia, add a dangerous new element: religious division....

The NY Times? I'm not surprised they would bring up religion. That is the same NY Times that provided many of the lies (Judith Miller) that brought us the Iraq war. These uprisings are clearly secular.

from the NY Times................... " The protests here, while trying to mimic those in Egypt and Tunisia, add a dangerous new element: religious division. The king and the ruling elite of Bahrain are Sunni, while the majority of the population are Shiites, who have been leading the demonstrations and demanding not only more freedom but equality.

The king is distrustful enough of his Shiite subjects that many of his soldiers and police are foreigners hired by the government. "

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the " uprising will go no further " once it's about Sunni vs Shiites

GJ she is probably in that group of people who have no complaints because the country is stable and doing quite nicely in the region and sees these "protesters" as troublemakers the same way that many see the "protesters" at the G20.

US very proactive in liberating Iraq from terrible dictator who happened to be anti-US, but content to look on while pro-US Bahrain dictator sends his military to brutalize civilians. Geopolitical positioning at its finest.

Ah, Bahrein, home to the US 5th fleet, and declared absolutely reliable by Hillary.

Things start to look interesting. If the Shiite majority takes power and introduces another Ayatollha regime, maybe, just maybe Barry and Hillary will lose some of their enthusiasm for this "democratic domino"?

How clearly exactly? And if it were clear was it stooge or agent? Doesn't sound too clear to me.

Ok, have it your way. A woman who just happened to live near the protest site, and just happened to be terrified of the protesters and think the protesters were horrible, violent people, and who just happened to be saying the same things as the Bahrain government, just happened to think that what she should do about the situation was get herself interviewed by the BBC. Because that of course is what concerned citizens do when violent people are getting shot and beaten up outside your house.

Sure, I'll buy it.

Brutally attacking sleeping protesters and almost beating to death a surgeon that was treating an injured protester spells the end of this brutal regime.

You could be correct sabi but I'm more willing to put my money on the end of this protest in Bahrain.

democracy, another name for mob rule which is of course so fair and just for all?

The tiny kingdom of Bahrain is a key part of Washington’s military counterbalance to Iran by hosting the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet.

.....and the Philippines used to have huge bases too.

And the "concerned citizen" woman interviewed on the BBC last night was a total embarrassment, clearly she was a government stooge or agent.

Bahrain government has obviously been spending the last few weeks working out their plans and propaganda. Had to attack people while they were sleeping, they were getting out of control!!! And the "concerned citizen" woman interviewed on the BBC last night was a total embarrassment, clearly she was a government stooge or agent.

We'll see what happens Friday, but probably will not be good. Looks like the Saudi's want to "fight them over there so they don't have to fight them at home", and they want to stop this stuff now before it spreads any further.

Sunnis and Shiites, hmmm...

that's right, i think this time the other Sunni dominated Middle East nations will support Bahrain and it doesn't look good for the protestors.

Safety of Japanese citizen in Bahrain is a priority No.1. Is evacuation strrategy in place, Mr. Kan? I hope so as it is getting worse.

They are simply copying the one in Egupt, but even there with the army in charge the rioters do not want to go back to home, expenses, & work at such low pay.

Said rioters have been having a ball in Egypt so then Banrain is looking to follow even if the Egyptian people are that disordered & it is not such a gain for all of them as they are dreaming.

Sunnis and Shiites, hmmm...

Is this like the Protestants and Catholics used to be in Northern Ireland? One religion but two sects, one sect dominating the other politically.

and the numbers are only starting to just go up
