The rockets are the result of Israeli crimes, not the cause.

Where in your twisted little head do (rockets + suicide bombers)crazy = attempt at a stable country?

Hamas pillages U.N. warehouses, uses U.N. schools as shields for terrorism, hijacks U.N. vehicles to transport weapons, and now destroys U.N. summer camps. This is the kind of thanks the U.N. gets from Hamas terrorists for providing aid to the "Palestinians". Hamas is the true enemy here.

Wasnt it the UN doing the camps first? Lazily sending your kids off at summertime, indoctrinating them with how to play and what to play. Hamas was not jealous, just worried that the UN was doing brainwashing that theyd learnt in China. Luckily for Hamas they have the funds to give options to the populace. Could be still lazy though.

SuperLib said: I don't think anyone is blaming Hamas for the raid.

You are right. My bad.

SuperLib is right. Nobody is blaming Hamas here. Just saying that brainwashing camps don't work well compared to the UN one. Some people are angry.

I don't think anyone is blaming Hamas for the raid. The problem is that the raid itself kind of loses it's newsworthiness when compared to revelation that Hamas runs brainwashing camps for children. But like I said, the silver lining is that a vast majority choose the UN's camp.

No group has claimed responsibility. Hey, I know. Out of all the militant groups in Gaza, lets just blame Hamas because we don't like them. We don't really need the truth. Scapegoating is such a fun game to play! Evidence? Just chuck that idea right under the bus! Its far too inconvenient.

While we are at it, let us continue to deny Hamas any sort of legitimacy, but at the same time blame them for everything that crops up. Responsibility and authority are totally unrelated concepts and never the two shall mix. (eyeroll)

In a strange way it's almost as if Hamas is worried the kids will grow up not hating Israel so they feel compelled to indoctrinate them.

superlib: hamas was just jealous... sabiwabi: hamas is wrong. rockets, suicide bombers serves israel. but hamas needs to be at war with israel. if there was peace, hamas would just cease to exist. hamas wants power. that's all.

Hamas says some 100,000 youngsters have signed up for its camps, compared to about 250,000 registered for the U.N. program.

Well at least a majority of them are rejecting Hamas' brainwashing camps. That's probably the only good thing we can take from the article.

What part of the world are summer camps common anyway? Not where I came from. I really dont agree with the way this article seems to take sides.

The hatred which the Gazans feel towards Israel is similar to that which the inmates of Auschwitz felt towards the nazis. Its a natural feeling resulting from the decades of terrorism, war crimes, and crimes against humanity carried out by the Israelis against an essentially unarmed population as the world stands by and does nothing. The rockets are the result of Israeli crimes, not the cause.

And now the UN wants to indoctrinate the children of Gaza to be happy with what they've got and accept it.

It sounds like the UN wants to brainwash the Palestinian children in accepting their fate.

Or, ya know, letting them know that there are other paths in life besides shooting rockets, blowing yourself up, and dedicating your life to hating Israel.

Hamas just wants to repeat the old extremist brainwashing indoctrination that many others have used to make future generations of crazy militant extremists. No suprise here.

@Sabi, Isreal has nothing to do with this specific issue man. But hey, believe w/e you want.

“Time is against us,” warned local U.N. chief John Ging. “We are losing an entire generation.”

If they truly wanted to save this generation, they would put Israel in its place. The UN would force Israel to respect international law and common human decency; they would force Israel to move to its pre-1967 border, and ensure that the Palestinians can live in freedom on their own land.

It sounds like the UN wants to brainwash the Palestinian children in accepting their fate.

Kids should not play. They should be trained to bomb making, rocket launching and suicide attacks. Ah yeah, summer camps... First you need to brainwash the kids. Hamas wants to waste a whole generation's childhood and Israel is making sure this will happen. Both are pretty disgusting...
