Rodman should be exiled from the U.S. He sang "happy birthday" to this murderous dictator and than bowed to him gracefully, to the enemy of the U.S. Rodman doesn't know the first thing about diplomacy and is making himself to be the laughing stock of the media.

I don't think Rodman is a disgrace to my country philsandoz. I think he is a disgrace to humanity. He was just born in America, that's all.

But hey, CNN is just as guilty as Rodman. Why do they want to interview that one-man circus? They have their own selfish agenda same as Rodman. I don't think they care what we think either. If they did, they would not interview him. In fact, I wish they would all just stop talking about him. Either bar him from going or let it go.

Just a thought, but I think he would be in big trouble if he went to Cuba!

Here's a link to the interview if anyone wants to see it. It really is entertaining and I don't think he's drunk as much as he's just fried from years of drug abuse...

Anyone who does not have the decency to remove such dark sunglasses during an interview does not deserve any air time. Just my opinion. Whether Rodman is right or wrong, it's the way he presents himself. Very immature. I can give him some credit for trying to make some peace on earth, but trying to take it on alone and with such a dictator who just finished executing his own uncle - well, the time and place. All wrong. D. Rodman, go back home but thanks for trying [I guess]. As for Kenneth Bae and his family, pay no attention to Rodman. I hope Bae can go home soon and be with his family. NK, let him go!

mjh875k. OK, Rodman is a disgrace to his nation, but one reason that that nation is great is that it doesn't exile people, or worse -- even Nixon didn't murder his uncle! Not only doesn't Rodman know the first thing about diplomacy, he doesn't appear to know the first thing about sobriety or even humanity. Please let the tattooed twit have his 15 minutes, as he'll soon be forgotten.

He was under stress at the time, WTF does this goose have to be stressed about anyone have any vague clue please tell me.

Fruit Loop Rodman.

The pictures with this article and the people in them are fascinating. Makes you wonder how they react during the game. Also how often that basketball stadium and big Jumbo-tron are actually used.

Some of my teammates were leaving because of pressure from their families and business associates,” he said, adding that his dream of “basketball diplomacy was quickly falling apart.”

I think some of the teammates realized the sinking ship they were on with all of Rodman's outbursts. I believe knowing when to shut up is a big part of diplomacy, the basketball kind or otherwise.

Funny Car: "I don't think Rodman is a disgrace to my country philsandoz. I think he is a disgrace to humanity. He was just born in America, that's all."

Rodman is only saying what the rest of us think about these bozos that go out of their way to make problems in the DPRK and then use their religion as some kind of excuse!!

I understand the pudgy Un's uncle had a problem with drinking too......

Hopefully they do not think he is a typical American.

I think you might have just figured out why the Un would want Rodman around. Claim that Rodman is your typical American and they'll be grateful that they've been saved from a fate worse than death!

An "ugly American" in many ways. Stay in N.K. Mr. Rodman. You deserve each other.

remember this is a guy who dressed up in a white wedding gown to promote a public appearance... and who has no business being on a basketball court but now is a fool in a dictators court.

The USA news media always adds the tag line, "Alcohol may have been involved." This time there is no "may" to it. On a positive side, Rodman wasn't responsible for a death.

An innocent abroad.

At this late stage I don't t think any excuse will do. I believe he went because he got the attention of someone famous (infamous actually) and he thought he would look cool going to some frontier-like county such as North Korea. "Wow I'm going to look so cool and I can go back home with some really amazing stories to tell", is what was on his mind I bet. But didn't think it through, it's all backfired and he has made himself look like a buffoon of the worst order.

I just wonder how the people of NK truly view the likes of someone like Dennis Rodman. Hopefully they do not think he is a typical American. This whole 'circus' has reached a 'hysterical' level. Hopefully when Rodman returns, he will have Kenneth Bae sitting next to him on his flight home. Maybe that would be like N.K and S.K finally becoming one country. Just something I always wanted to see happen in my lifetime.

Funny looks like D-Man went to the same tailor as his best friend check out that gray suit!

blames drink

He blames drink? He disappointed me.

Until I read this, I have been defending his freedom of speech as he is entitled to have as American. The other side of coin of freedom is a personal accountability and a responsibility which he failed to take. Dennis, you blow it.

Rodman has been making himself a laughing stock since his days hanging out with Madonna and who could forget that wedding dress....shheeesh!

I heard that actually Kim asked Michael Jordan first, if he would fly out and he promptly said, "No" and then he went on to ask Rodman who, not surprisingly said, Yes. The man has no class is a complete embarrassment NOT only to the US, but to himself as well. 20 years ago, he did idiotic stuff and got a pass, now at his age, he should have known better or should have been smarter in handling this situation.
