Utah, try a Democrat. You might be pleasantly surprised.

One carpet bagger replacing another. Both Mitt and Orrin are not Utah natives; they spent most of their lives in Michigan and DC..

He'd be a far better senator than president. And one hopes he might help in dragging the GOP back into sanity.

Romney muted his criticism for a time when Trump auditioned him as a potential secretary of state.

As much as I like Obama and disliked Romney, I still sometimes wish Romney had won in 2012. Whatever mess he would have made would still be preferable to Trump. Had Romney won, the world would never have gotten Trump. What irony.

Yes, that was historically embarrassing. This tends to happen to anyone who gets close to Trump and is the main reason why he cannot adequately staff his administration. ("I accepted an offer from Trump" is not something up-and-comers want on their resume.)

If Utah voters are faced with the choice of that globalist snake Romney or a Democrat, they are likely screwed unless the Democrat is better than most Democrats and he/she beats Romney.

Snout-in-the-trough professional politician, not out to serve but to get rich from BRIBES.

@serrano globalist

Is this what you men?

Globalism[edit]

Globalism is sometimes used as a synonym for globalization, but usually with overtones of xenophobia, anti-immigration, and anti-Semitism (i.e., International Jewish conspiracy).[59]

Can you explain how Trump with businesses all over the world, with dealings with some of the richest and most powerful people in the world isn't a globalist?

Mormons (and Catholics) will sell their souls to get into bed with the Evangelical Christians, and in the end, the Evangelicals will always despise them and end up turning on them.

Interesting, left get outraged when you make any racial references in the context of a conversation, they loss their mind, when they make fun or insult Christians or Christianity, they get a pass, very interesting.

Yup, Mitt's setting the foundation to challenge the Orange imposter in '20.

Should be fun if Trump manages to hang on until then....

Trump will be fine, looking better every day. Mitt had his chance and taking a Washington establishment, good luck with that. Lol
