OMG I did not see that coming! Really? He assured everyone that he was not involved. What gives?

(doing my best Rush Limbaugh impersonation...opps can not do a very good job, I do not like to get high...LOL)

"I too am shocked and dismayed, shocked and dismayed, it just can not be.....This must be a media ploy to bring the good and honest Rove down! But all you know that these allegations are all lies lies lies!!!"

Now we return to the serious side of life......Everyone in the world including the JT far right members know that Rove was involved. Hell he was so deeply involved in every aspect of the Bush administration that if the President passed he would know it.....

So if it smells like old food and looks like old food it is not old food because someone says it is not? Hm, I must remember that.....LOL

Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, “Democrats need to stop wasting taxpayers’ time and money on political investigations that are nothing more than the politics of personal destruction,”

What is he suppose to say ,"Opps you caught Rove in a bit of a lie?", No of course not. He is going to try and quell the fire before it burns any hotter. He would not be doing his job if he does not say something.

Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, said the documents show no evidence of wrongdoing. “Democrats need to stop wasting taxpayers’ time and money on political investigations that are nothing more than the politics of personal destruction,” Smith said.

I have no doubts on 2 things after reading that statement. 1) There are a lot of U.S. attorneys who find a metric butt-ton of irony in that statement.

2) Lamar Smith is a tool.

Embarrassingly enough for Republicans, not even one of them can come to this man's defense any more.

No surprise they ignored this post. Next time you mention Rove someone will jump in and say you can't mention the past.

More lies from the bush crew while they were on point. Of course they have consistently lied about these firings from day one but at the truth comes the lies become more obvious.

Outing spies, firing AGs for political reasons, starting wars based on lies, and on and on and Rove was involved in all of it. He was after all bush's brain. bush never would have become president if not for Rove. In his day, long past due now, Rove could have elected a ham sandwich to congress in a solidly republican district.

I wouldn't be surprised with what he did. Rove is without a doubt, one of the most malicious evildoers who have destroyed so many young and talented politicians careers.

U.S. attorneys can be fired by the president for "any" reason. Heck, President Clinton fired every U.S. attorney when he took office - some were investigating matters that he had an association with. This is going nowhere but I suppose it is something to buck-up the Left as they suffer through President Obama's slow-motion heath care policy train wreck.

Only the bush administration polticised the AG management. Before under demos and repubs the function was left hands off. Just another example of the criminality of the bush years and in particular the low level that Rove operated on in electing bush and running the country for eight years. Along with Cheney of course.
