U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will skip a two-day meeting of foreign ministers from the leading rich and developing nations that starts on Thursday after criticizing host South Africa's policies as anti-American.

Lawlessness, crime and racism are major problems.

South Africa is a country where politicians openly call for minorities to be murdered.

The US is correct to ignore them.

Equality, diversity, inclusion and caring about the environment - what insiduous and despicable values.

I am very sad to say, you are 100% correct. All of the US's adversaries are celebrating/laughing/peeing their pants in laughter while the US's concerned citizens and allies around the world are perhaps witnessing before their very eyes the demise of the America we all hoped and dreamed of succeeding in its pursuit of that dream for ALL.

I AM SAD. Although I am an American, I can not with a clear conscience say that I am a proud American at this moment in time. On the contrary. And I can't believe that after fighting, protecting and dying for the freedom for future generations, our predecessors' sacrifices is coming to this. Oh my what a heartbreak.

I truly hope, someday, I will be a PROUD American, again.

Rubio posted on X this month that he would also not attend the main G20 summit in Johannesburg in November, saying South Africa was using the gathering to promote diversity, equality and inclusion frameworks, "In other words: DEI and climate change."

“My job is to advance America’s national interests, not waste taxpayer money or coddle anti-Americanism,” Rubio wrote.

I'm curious as to what is his definition of "anti-Americanism"? His parents are immigrants and he is a minority so what is he saying here?
