Rushdie is greater, and dog willing his words will live on far longer than those of the ayatollah.

Send that scumbag to live in prison..

Martyrdom just eluded this guy. He did all that and for what? He failed, no 72 virgins for him, but now he can live in shame and with his new cell buddies that he is the man that FAILED to kill Rushdie, and at 24, he has a long to with his newfound friends to think about that should he be convicted.

So, he hasn’t been released after 72 hours and the msm haven’t buried the story.
So much for our resident Nostradami.

Give it another few weeks. Maybe once he gets sentenced or if he gets sentenced it could make headlines again

A very strange concept for us but surprisingly 'normal' in other countries where they value other things even more than human life. See radical islamists, kamikazes, self-immolation rituals, etc. which aren't products of a delusional individual but the very culture of that particularly place, deadly distractions hindering human evolution since forever. Westerners have absolutely no clue just how free and lucky they are.

A lifetime in prison will wear down his surprise !
He can mix with other right wingers, including the followers of the American ayatollah and swap stories about how they were deceived into squandering away their lives!!!

I read his book and burnt it. Crap.

Matar hasn’t written any books yet, he hasn’t read any either .
Though burning books is what illiterates do!

Really? Lebanon made him mad? Thought it was pretty mild place, half and half churchgoers and mosque goers.

and the suspect wasn't a far right wing Trump supporter, the biggest threat to America? So much for the words of wisdom from our resident left wing conspiracy theorists.

To be fair, if you express a belief in flying horses, talking snakes, parting seas, coming back in the next life as a rainbow trout or something, you’ve got to be prepared for a bit of criticism.
It should come with the territory.

Of course he is, and he expects to be paid by Iran, too.

I think you’re confused about something, or a few things.

Hmm? What’s that? Sounds like the noise of goalposts being moved.
Right now, Lebanon is a country in crisis. The presence of Christians doesn’t really indicate the place is somehow more stable than elsewhere in the Middle East (contrary what people might imply). Lebanon is also something of a home base for Hezbollah.
