Kim Jong Un is a monster, and he shouldn't be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
That said, US foreign policy demonstrates what happens to non-US aligned depots who don't have nuclear deterrents. Iraq, Libya.... they would still be functioning countries if they had nuclear weapons. No doubt Fat Boy has been watching and learning. The US has been shooting itself in the foot for decades, of course it will get weaker.

Kim Jong Un, the only thing stopping you becoming an Iraq is your nuclear program. Don't give in to US pressure, hold your stance. No nation needs US approval to have a nuclear program. What Washington want is to disarm all nations so they can offer no resistance to US domination, and the sooner the so-called Western Powers realise this the sooner they can work on peace.
The US continues to develop nuclear arms, continues to increase expenditure on the military but want to disarm all nation. Typical bully, typical rogue state.

bass4funk: As I said, you are the perfect example of a sick nation. The fact that you continue to promote US exceptionalism and warmongering shows you have learnt nothing form history. Unfortunately, many people in the US have this same belief and this is why it will take the nations of the world to unify and bush back against US dictatorship and the world will know no peace until this happens; eventually it will happen. Eventually all bullies fall.
You forget that over 10% of Americans are homeless. and the US does not have a universal health system, and this is what you want to export to the rest of the world.
No nation needs US approval to have a defence system or to trade among themselves.
You show a complete lack of knowledge of you own society and I, again suggest you read some history and ignore US propaganda.

I don't know the answers, but ...
Who transfers oil to NK? China?
Who sells the oil to NK? Iran and Russia?
I won't be holding my breath for their agreement to enforce anything.

While Trump golfs at one of his properties (on the taxpayer's dollars) and sends tweets to celebrities, China and Russia get stronger.
China and Russia have plans.
The US has Trump. And Mitch McConnell.

So then that means, if you want something done right, you need to do it yourself, Ok, that’ll be our next step, no worries.
Yes, keep starving your people because No one cares about that at all, stay in power while the people get sent to labor camps for trying to scrounge for food because that’s what they want. Screw the people as long as Kim can stay in power, who cares if a few die here or there.
And we don’t need to allow rogue nations that threaten us to exist for very long. Russia has nukes, but they’re part of the MAD agreement and they know what we can do and vice versa. NK is Not a Part of that Treaty, so anything goes. So if NK really wants to push it, they’re not going to be very happy.
No, Russia, France, India, Pakistan...Israel? Have nukes, we don’t have a problem with that. NK is a completely different story.
Rouge, not even close. As the sole Superpower, we should.

I feel the exact same about the haters in the world.
I have never promoted warmongering, never!
What a load of crap! There are many in the US that don’t want war, but don’t want the US to bow down and take an unapologetic approach to any adversaries, the last idiot President did that and it didn’t help us or change anything one bit.
We don’t need a Universal health system 80% of Americans are very happy with their private healthcare, if the government wants to fix the system for 20% of Americans that don’t have it, I’m all for it, other than that, don’t fix anything that isn’t broken and as for the homeless, the Democrats don’t want to fix it, they govern the wealthiest States, but can’t get their homeless population under control.
if they don’t threaten us like the fore mentioned fine, if they go off the rails like NK and pose a threat to us, we can and have every right to neutralize that threat.
Not me, sorry, the opposite.

nandakamanda:
Just to remind you, nuclear tests have ended, the main test site has been dismantled, and NK propaganda has shifted by 180 degrees from threatening armaggedon to bragging about peace.
Guess the the talking heads at CNN forgot to point that out to you.
In the event, what we see now is an elaborate dance to arrive at transition of the current NK regime to some solution that would be acceptable to both China, Russia, South Korea, and the NK Kim clan. This is something very difficult, that Trump has a chance to pull off, unlike the warmongering criminal that was the alternative in the last election.

And... the North continues to make nuclear weapons like they are going out of fashion. So what's changed?
