Told my wife about this and she uttered one word: Good.

Great news if true. Russia's involvement in Syria has been a real positive.

I thought I would never utter these words, but if it's true, Russia did an outstanding job!

It isn't the first time his death has been announced. But if he's dead, well done Russia. I only hope they burned s-l-o-w-l-y....

Good news but there are so many more that will take his place.

Thankyou, Russia!

Whoa, if this is confirmed, that's a major coup

Baghdadi has been thought killed before, but he just keeps popping back up

In Soviet Russia, terrorist is bombed by you.

I agree with the sentiment but the whole element of surprise thing with the large amount of explosives being detonated doesn't really match. The fact that they were slaughtered violently and quickly sounds good enough for me. Good riddance you filthy animals.

Madverts: "I only hope they burned s-l-o-w-l-y...."

So you hope for human beings to die a horrible, painful death... tsk tsk.

A wicked man has passed, the world is a bit better place.

Russian MOD is not 100-percent sure about elimination of al-Baghdadi, they still looking for confirmation. What is sure is that several dozens most rabid terrorists will kill nobody anymore, and that is exellent news.

And it seems that Russians have not only good weapons, but also very good intelligence to pinpoint such coven. Thank you, guys!

All blabla aside. The Su27 (I think) is by far the most beautiful warbird ever to fly the skies. Russian sense of aesthetic is outstanding here, you have to give them that.

If the claim is true, it is a good thing. Let the Caliph enjoy his paradise. However, this won´t solve the ISIS issue. The ideology does not depend on one particular leader. Once he is dead, another one will take his place.

@ebisen

The caption for the photo identifies the plane shown as a Su-34, but none the less, it is indeed a beautiful bird.

I don't consider them humanity. Are you supporting ISIS now?

Although I have not, nor ever will agree with Russia bombing civilians in Sryia to help the Syrian regime, while they were "claiming" to do their bit against Daesh... the death of so many of Daesh fighters, if true, is wonderful and I hope more follow, with out the civilian casulties of course.

And yes, Russian planes are some of the smexiest looking ones around for sure!

Russia can't even find out how who killed Boris Nemtsov only meters from the Kremlin and Putin's office, yet we are supposed to believe this decrepit and squalid country managed to identify and eliminate the world's most wanted and hidden terrorist in a foreign country? Yeah right, sounds like garbage Kremlin propaganda. Pictures or it never happened
