Russia destroys drones over Moscow, Black Sea

Ooops, me bad. When I read the headline I thought Russia again failed - "taking care" of their own drones.

But no, Ukraine did it again, another one that made it all the way to PUTAin's capital.

Looks like Samson can still do quite some damage to Goliath - and we all know how it ended!

Ukraine prevails!

Moscow

2 ( +7 / -5 )

More attacks on civilians and civilian targets.

-10 ( +7 / -17 )

Blacklabel, here is one on a military target:

6 ( +11 / -5 )

An expo center in Moscow is a military target?

-6 ( +7 / -13 )

I don’t see where it says an expo center was targeted. You making assumptions again?

2 ( +10 / -8 )

Time to end this madness and get around the negotiating table. He killings have to end before Ukraine becomes a wasteland with no young males left.

-11 ( +8 / -19 )

you sound concerned, FFS

5 ( +11 / -6 )

I don’t see where it says an expo center was targeted. You making assumptions again?

Look again.

-10 ( +6 / -16 )

I see where it says wreckage fell in the area of the expo center. That doesn’t mean it was a target.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

Ohhhh I see.

so what is damaged or destroyed can be not the intended target?

good to have that confirmation.

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

so what is damaged or destroyed can be not the intended target?

No, that isn’t what it means either. You can’t tell one way or another whether it was a target or not. It could have been, but saying it WAS is just making assumptions.

4 ( +10 / -6 )

Also saying it wasn’t is making assumptions.

5 ( +10 / -5 )

So every time something In Ukraine is damaged it’s not fact, just you making the assumptions that it was the target because it supports your preferred narrative.

thanks for the confirmation.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Ukroruine slava,another great "victory"...

desperate biting?

highly likely so.

Russia prevails,keep pounding rebiata HARD!

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

Ukraine won’t defeat Russia so what is the point of It sending a few drones to target Moscow and in retaliation, scores of Russian drones target the Ukraine?

Mindless and senseless death and destruction…

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

Blacklabel

An expo center in Moscow is a military target?

No. It wasn't targeted.

"The UAV, after being exposed to air defense weapons, changed its flight path and fell on a non-residential building in the Krasnopresnenskaya embankment area of Moscow," the ministry said.

Russian electronic warfare causes the drones to go off target.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

See your friend above.

you just assuming so, according to him.

or can this electronic warfare also happen when something in Ukraine is targeted and cause something not a target to be hit instead?

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

It’s a shame that in this day and age that a country like Russia is so violent and aggressive as to try and steal its neighbor’s land.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Cause I saw how clearly and carefully you said Russian electronic warfare.

is there a thing such as Ukrainian electronic warfare? Or nah?

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

“More attacks on civilians and civilian targets.”

That’s cruel.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

So every time something In Ukraine is damaged it’s not fact, just you making the assumptions that it was the target because it supports your preferred narrative.

I haven’t claimed anything specific about whether anything hit by debris in Ukraine was a target or not. The apartment building that was hit by debris a while back may have been a target, it might not have been. It’s too difficult to prove either way. However, you’re claiming it was a target because of the amount of damage to the building was just you wanting to try and prove the Ukrainians weren’t hitting the missiles and drones that they said they were. That would also mean Russia was hitting civilian targets on purpose… but you don’t like that either so you then suggest that if it was shot down by Ukraine, that must mean Russia isn’t targeting civilian spots. It doesn’t mean that and you can’t prove it either way. So why even bother unless you’re just here trying to have an argument.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

Time for the good citizens of Moscow to discover that the war isn't so very far away after all.

Oh no! An expo center you say?

Thank goodness it wasn't a maternity hospital, or a shelter marked "children" or a grain storage building.

THAT would have been horrible.

1 ( +8 / -7 )

Not if those weren’t the intended targets?

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

Rodney,

96%? WHich area are you talking about?

I must strongly assume PUTAin's Russia.

Maybe this article provides some more correct information:

4 ( +9 / -5 )

proxy - What are you talking about? Everyone here would be thrilled if Russia called off its invasion and went back home. Would you not be happy?

7 ( +10 / -3 )

one honest question for all.

do you think that Ukraine is capable win over Russia?

if yes click on +

if no click on -

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Much like the Germans of Hitler's Reich, Moscow citizens will claim that they either did not know what was happening or that they were helpless to do anything.

It wasn't a convincing argument then and it won't be now.

Dont know what the Russian word for Karma is but the citizens of Moscow are about to experience it.

And it will be their own damn fault.

3 ( +10 / -7 )

Eastman,

of course Ukraine will win.

They "only" have to liberate all occupied areas, including Crimea, while PUTAin tries to conquer all of Ukraine (and maybe his plans go even beyond that).

Ukraine prevails!

4 ( +11 / -7 )

Do you think Russia is "winning"?

one honest question for all.

do you think that Ukraine is capable win over Russia?

if yes click on +

if no click on -

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Dont know what the Russian word for Karma is but the citizens of Moscow are about to experience it.

It’s called victims of Ukrainian war crimes against civilians.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

ok1517

UA forces are winning at all fronts.UA spring offensive is doing great and is very successful.

todays UA forces advance 1m eastward.undislosed location.

Ukraine is pounding hard, unsure what and where.

Ukraine will prevail but unsure when.

Ukraine forces have shot down 100 russian missiles from 50 sent from Russia, accuracy 200%.

etc etc etc

did you ever heard about-irony?

fallafel

RUSSIA PREVAILS.

-9 ( +7 / -16 )

as now 3 people here believe UA cant win over Russia.

lets wait a bit more.

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

interesting how this word “citizens” keeps being cautiously and purposely used to justify attacking civilians.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

Blacklabel

Let me say example.

In Syria when army have attacked terrorists, bold guy from Coventry known as one man show SOHR knew in one minute how many civilians were dead/sorted as old, men, women, and kids/,there were never some terrorist casualties.

Maybe because when they get killed were changed from terrorists to civilians.

If Poroshenko during ATO have shelled Donetsk and Lugansk, dead were just "insurgents",never civilians, never UA citizens.

Same thing now if desperate UA drone hit some place and there is some casualty, its "citizen" not civilian.

Magic of mainstream "journalism"?

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

so what is damaged or destroyed can be not the intended target?

good to have that confirmation

Blacklabel, I’ve seen numerous posts of yours saying middle or drone wreckage that hit a civilian area in Ukraine was because it was shot down. Since the real target was military Ukraine shouldn’t shoot them down and they wouldn’t hit civilian targets.

Hypocrisy much? lol

6 ( +11 / -5 )

It’s called victims of Ukrainian war crimes against civilians

no, its not

And yet you've been utterly mute on the Ukrainian victims of Russian war crimes.

Because you want Russia to win. You post in support of a fascist dictatorship engaged in a war based on an obvious lie.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

No I want people on both sides to stop dying for no reason.

attacking Crimea and Moscow is a waste of time and resources by Ukraine to distract from the utter failure of their 100 billion dollar West funded proxy war offensive.

yep it’s offensive alright.

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

Just wait for that spring offensive next year!!!!

No I want people on both sides to stop dying for no reason.

I have limited time so I will just give you: still Putin's war.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

better be plain and honest.

UA have zero chance to win over Russia.

this conflict have no military solution.

one and only way to stop this killing is peace negotiation.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

still Putin's war.

and?

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

@HN  It could have been, but saying it WAS is just making assumptions.

Good man HN, how polite to call them 'assumptions' instead of 'misinformation/disinformation/imagination' etc. Given pattern awareness I would call them one of the latter.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Russian are setting Ukraine up for a decapitation strike

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Eastman

better be plain and honest.

Better to follow your own advice

*UA have zero chance to win over Russia.*

Putin is finished one way or the other so, in the end, Ukraine prevails

*this conflict have no military solution.*

Putin and his trolls seem plenty worried

*one and only way to stop this killing is peace negotiation.*

No, the one way is for Putin to stop his land-grab invasion and get out. He’s most likely finished in either case so it’s best he just admits it was wrong and get out. The war stops immediately in that case instead of dragging on to the same conclusion!

3 ( +9 / -6 )

Seapig, drag it out and bleed the US dry of billion of dollars for natural disasters

If Russia is allowed to continue this imperialistic land-grab invasion and the west stops supporting Ukraine it will end up costing much much more down the line. If Putin succeeds he will just move forward with his next invasion. Plans for after Ukraine have already been laid out.

Give Ukraine as much as they need now to protect their county and repel the invaders!!

4 ( +9 / -5 )

I'm glad Russia succeeded in preventing further terrorist attacks against civilians.

Ukraine has lost already. The question now is how much NATO will do, and so far it appears Russia has no problem countering everything NATO has thrown at it.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

I'm glad Russia succeeded in preventing further terrorist attacks against civilians.

How did they do that? Did they stop invading?

Ukraine has lost already.

You'll be wrong again.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Did they stop invading?

Invading? Russia is defending the territories that overwhelming voted to join Russia. Russia is defending its own land and people.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

They are getting desperate. They are putting lipstick on a pig. They will tell you anything.

Let's pretend 50,000 UAF soldier aren't pushing up daisies since the counter offensive began two and half months ago, to gain nothing.

It makes the Charge of the Light Brigade look like a sensible military operation.

There is obviously a self-denial-complex in many quarters.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

@ffs

Time to end this madness and get around the negotiating table. He killings have to end before Ukraine becomes a wasteland with no young males left.

More like 'End this war before the Russian men are replaced by Lada's. Oh wait it's been replaced by a bicycle now. Lmao.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

I don't think anyone needs to pretend this didn't happen.

Let's pretend 50,000 UAF soldier aren't pushing up daisies since the counter offensive began two and half months ago, to gain nothing.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

More attacks on civilians and civilian targets.

well Putin has done this on a almost daily basis since the start of the war, in clear violation of the Genva convention. Then the expect Ukraine to follow the same rules that they ignore, LOL delusional

Russian citizens need to experience what Ukrainians do on a daily basis, see if they can stay in their bubble then

2 ( +7 / -5 )

Putin is a thug and a major war crim.

They have 50,000 Russians to keep them company. Russia was supposed to be the superpower.
