Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov kept the door open for the deployment of military assets to Cuba and Venezuela.

That the US has continued attempts to expand militarily cannot be denied, but yet American and other far rightists around the globe have ignored Putin's attempts to expand the Russian Federation's military involvements (Syria, Libya, Belarus, Armenia, etc. and now maybe Cuba and Venezuela) will the far rightists now also call their hero Putin a 'warmonger'., and admit Putin wants even greater control over the globe's oil and gas. And do those in the far right supporting Putin want him and his oligarchs to re-create a Putin led version of the USSR. Cue old videos of people queueing in the cold to get a chance to buy a loaf of bread.

PT, Cuba do not have a pact with Russia, he is just blowing smoke out of his butt

Russia has no economy to speak of other than drilling holes in the ground. They obviously have too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do than annoy their neighbors. Hopefully the EU will completely shut down the Russian pipeline. Then drilling holes in the ground won’t even sustain them.

Putin was a product of the USSR and the KGB who always believed the end of the USSR empire was a mistake and is now trying to recreate the old Soviet/Russian empire in a new guise. He knows Russia will be playing second fiddle to China and is seeking to bolster his position for future relations with them.

He is making a bad mistake, he sees NATO as a threat which it simply does not have the resources or political or cultural will to be while ignoring the creeping infiltration of the Russian empires eastern territories by the Chinese who are desperate to ensure they can feed their population and so are setting up agribusinesses, importing Chinese labour to replace the locals and taking over huge tracts of farmland in the east that the Russians are failing to manage competently. Long term the Chinese will simply take over and there will be nothing Russia will be able to do having alienated the west who otherwise could have supported them.

All the Imperium pretence doesn't change the reality that Crimea reacted to the American sponsored coup against the democratically elected President of Ukraine by asking Russia to allow it to reunite with Russia.

All the Imperium posturing doesn't change the reality that Biden has actually stated that if Russia responds in kind to the American arming of a hostile country literally in Russia's back yard, he would contemplate invading the country that Russia was arming.

And all the faithful echoing and reechoing of the unsubstantiated allegations against Russia doesn't add any more substance to those claims that the faithful echoing and reechoing of the unsubstantiated allegations that Iraq had a very active WMD program added substance to that claim.

Finally, the inability of the Imperium to process that it isn't the totally dominant player, able to divide and conquer at will doesn't mean that the Imperium can isolate Russia from the majority of the world, and the majority of the global economy, that isn't part of the Imperium.

Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libia would certainly second that!

This is why the left are just so blind, they just don’t pay attention to anything, impulsive, emotional and irrational.

This is why liberals are making the situation worse. This all helps China.

will the far rightists now also call their hero Putin a 'warmonger'., and admit Putin wants even greater control over the globe's oil and gas.

Now if Biden hadn’t waived sanctions on the company behind Russia's Nord Stream 2 we wouldn’t be in this mess, now Russia has a great advantage.

And do those in the far right supporting Putin

No one on the right supports Putin.

want him and his oligarchs to re-create a Putin led version of the USSR. Cue old videos of people queueing in the cold to get a chance to buy a loaf of bread.

My lord, where are you getting all this from….smh…

There is a failure of logic here. Lets just start with Syria. So the West and their Oil and Gas Barons destabilize Syria in all sorts of manners, even faking chemical weapons attacks. Syrai needs help, Russia helps, and this is what? "expand the Russian Federation's military involvements"? This was never an aggressive action.

Furthermore, what's wrong with "expand the Russian Federation's military involvements" anyway? Expanding is what all military nations do. When they start attacking TO expand, is a whole other ballgame and not what you're talking about.

Lastly, it's kind of silly to complain about "far-rightists", by the way, what did Joe Rogan say the other day,

"Joe Rogan detailed on his podcast Thursday how the left has become so intolerant of any other viewpoint that anyone who isn’t in total agreement with them is now automatically slapped with the pejorative ‘alt-right’."

Anyway, back on topic, it's kind of silly to complain about "far-rightists" when it's the Dem machine acting like warmongering "far-rightists".

Everyone is preparing for war.

Russia ,China , Iran and Korea are not going to back down.

Imposing sanctions is just fueling the fire.

Expanding is what all military nations do

Typical far right response, while at the same time selectively calling sates that expand militarily 'warmongers'. While ignoring their own favorite faction of the imperium's military expansion.

Military expansion for expansion sake, just like a virus or cancer cell. Except when it's done by the Russian Federation/Iran consortium, then it's acceptable to the global far right because their consortium's attempts to control fossil resources are also acceptable. Way passed time to beyond the fossil era and wars for oil.

This administration is hinting at that. I’m sure Cheney on the Republican side is backing Biden, those are the people you should be pointing a finger at.

While ignoring their own favorite faction of the imperium's military expansion.

You can’t fight the real enemy “China” with small band of soldiers for sure.

No, there’s no way you’re going to get rid of oil, not in our foreseeable lifetime. We should find other fuel alternatives, but for now, fossil fuels will be the main source of fuel production. Everyone knows it, even the environmentalists know this.

The Nord Stream 2 pipeline is not operating.

Except for usage of the “filibuster” last week by liberals and Biden it would never be operational.

Putin will invade what he thinks is a part of "mother Russia". His last hooo-raw!

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

I am sure if many were in Putin's place they will do same. Nato renege on the agreement not to grand membership to former Soviet republics.

Michael McFaul and the Farkas lady and Mr Colonel Vindmann along with that ex Ukraine ambassador Marie Yovanovich should all go to Ukraine. They soooo cared about all this before but are now oddly silent and absent.

Anglosaxons, mainly Americans, are driving the world to a nuclear war. 50 million people dead in WW II were not enough for the yanks. They want the number to jump to the billions.

History shows that WWII was initiated by Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia. The US was not involved until the end of 1941, years after the fighting began. In what way do you consider 50 mill dead in WWII something the "yanks" applaud? Anglosaxons will respond to Russia and China starting conflicts. You seem confused as to who is threatening whom.

Why does Russia not apply to join NATO? Other posters on JT have said Russia should be included and I tend to agree, but they have to apply to join and must follow the same path as all other applicant have followed before them. To be successful they have to meet NATO basic requirements as all other members have had to do. Once a member they can lobby from within as other members do when they want something. If Anyone attacks Russia then it will have both CSTO and NATO to back it up. Wouldn't that be something, US forces coming to the aid of Russia. Sounds like WWII all over again.

I disagree. What you’re seeing is the MSM driving the message. Even Australian MSM is jumping on to the war train. Who’s directing them to do this is the question. Certainly NOT Joe six pack, Joe gamer or Joe brick layer. It’s the elites, yes, the cabal, or the dark state, whatever. Biden is just the bobbling head on the dashboard board of the military buildup.

Why does Russia not apply to join NATO?

Because NATO is an aggressive organization.

WWII was initiated by Germany,

But 90% of wars in the world after that were initiated by the USA:

Vietnam, Granada, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Serbia Just to mention some.

Millions per millions were killed, wounded, orphaned & widowed by American democracy. Whole countries were totally destroyed in search of Human Rights!!

The only atomic weapons used were American products.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Because NATO is an aggressive organization.

Pure Fantasy.

But 90% of wars in the world after that were initiated by the USA:

Tibet invasion - China.

Vietnam invasion - China

Afghanistan invasion - Soviet Russia.

Georgia breakaway regions - War with Russia

Ukraine break away regions - War with Russian troops.

Border war with India - China

South Korea invaded - North Korea and China.

US did not invade Serbia, Syria or Libya and did not initiate conflicts there.

The US has been involved in conflicts to aid others. Freeing Kuwait from Iraq invasion.

Defending South Vietnam from North Vietnam invasion.

US attacked by forces based in Afghanistan in 9/11 attacks.

US defended South Korea.

While the US has initiated some conflicts since WWII, so has China and Russia. Always posters like yourself conveniently overlook those invasions and wars. That just clouds the credibility of your posts.

Peter14

Tibet invasion

There never was a Tibet invasion. No one invades his own land.

Vietnam invasion

There never was such an invasion. There was just a border clash for less than a month.

Afghanistan invasion

There was an invitation by the legal government for the Soviet Russia to help against US backed Al-Qaeda terrorists, lead by Usama Ben Laden.

Georgia breakaway regions

Read the EU investigation report about War with Russia. There it's clearly confirmed who started that war.

Ukraine break away regions = War with Russian troops.

There was not a single Russian soldier involved in that war. It was a war waged by the Kiev junta against Russian-speaking Ukrainians, so they decided to break away.

Border war with India - China

There was no war. Merely border clashes.

South Korea invaded - North Korea and China

North Korea was invaded by the South backed by the US. Why did the US have to stick its nose in peoples' affairs thousands of miles away from them.

No more time for further education.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

When Germany was reunited, Nato promised Russia never to include any Eastern European countries, like Poland, Hungary not to mention Ukraine. Nato is braking that agreement.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

North Korea was invaded by the South backed by the US

What? I think you might wanna Google that.

And if you’re talking about China, then one US keep crossing the Yalu river must be an invasion.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

FizzBit

then one US keep crossing the Yalu river must be an invasion.

I didn't know that Yalu river runs through Cuba, Nicaragua, Grenada, Panama, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria & Libya.

Your reply is nonsensical and false. The information you provide on each separate issue is fake and can easily be found when doing a search online.

Tibet was independent and Invaded by China. As Taiwan is Independent and targeted for invasion by China.

China tried to invade Vietnam but after a month of losing heavily withdrew. China was the aggressor.

Im not going to bother to go on but it is enough to say the US is not responsible for 90% of the worlds conflicts since WWII. Not even close.

Please advise what signed treaty or agreement was broken. Verbal "assurances" not backed by treaty or signed document is worth only the paper it is printed on.

The US was burned in the South China Sea when China assured Obama that China would not militarize the man made islands there. In international dealings things are said but only treaties signed are legally enforceable.
