Yeah the only actual Russian around and yet wasn’t even part of the Mueller nonsense.

Maria Butina was the scapegoat by a Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

It seems the Trumpers here can't get their stories straight...

And by the way, she admitted her guilt...

Authorities said Butina was directed by a senior Russian official to infiltrate conservative political groups, including an unnamed pro-gun lobbying organisation presumed to be the NRA, which is allied with Mr Trump's Republican party.

In her plea agreement, Butina admitted to working with former Russian lawmaker Alexander Torshin to infiltrate the NRA and pursue backdoor channels of communication to American conservatives who could influence US politics.

While doing so, Butina failed to report her activities to US authorities, as require.

Another Russian in the Trump orbit...they're everywhere...

Prosecutors said that although she worked openly and was not tied to any Russian intelligence agency, she was sending back reports to a high-level Russian government officials and posed a threat to the United States.

Prosecutors admitted that Butina had nothing to do with those cases.

Maria Butina was the scapegoat by a Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Maria Butina didn't report any the US secret information back to the Russian Government but she updates on her activities to her main sponsor Alexander Torshin central bank deputy governor. She can't be categorized as a foreign agent or spy. She was just Gun activist.

I want to know whether there's any secret information was sent to a Russian spy agency or she was sending her normal activity like attending to Republican Election campaign and NRA meeting to her boss Alexander.

Maria Butina was guilty because she was Russian.

Poor woman, she has no choice but take plea-bargain deal with prosecutor.

The US Justice has failed to protect innocent person.

Now that's deep....

Apparently Mueller didn't think it was deep enough to warrant any indictments. Tee hee!

Article: Her activities brought her in contact with top Republicans, including Trump at a rally in 2015, where she was chosen to ask the then-candidate about U.S.-Russian relations.

Wow, that's so deep! haha

No, I’m saying, she did what she did and the Dems continue to do what they do.

And Trump, the Repubs, and the Russians continue to do what they do - make America more like Russia...

This is just one more Russian that met with Repubs and organizations that support Trump - Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadapolous, Sessions, Don Jr, Jared, Cohen...I'm surprised they haven't opened a Russian Embassy Annex in Trump Tower...

So I guess you're saying this woman did nothing wrong, because Democrats.

No, I’m saying, she did what she did and the Dems continue to do what they do.

Democrats have their own Russian skeletons to deal with.....

Democrats are even deeper in the mud....

The way Obama did with Crimea? Russian collusion......oh, my...

Sadly, can’t say the thing about Democrats.

So I guess you're saying this woman did nothing wrong, because Democrats.

I remember when the GOP used to protect America from Russia, an existential enemy.

Sadly, can’t say the thing about Democrats.

Now, they gladly support Russia, choosing their positions over historical American positions.

Oh, yeah?

Obama announced on September 17, 2009, that he would cancel President George W. Bush’s plan to station missile-defense systems in Poland and the Czech Republic. “This is a U-turn in U.S. policy,” complained former Czech ambassador to Washington Alexander Vondra. “Russia had furiously opposed the project, claiming it targeted Moscow’s nuclear arsenal,” added Luke Harding and Ian Traynor of London’s Guardian. “Obama’s climb-down is likely to be seen by Russia as a victory.”

Their support of the National Russian Association is just another dismal sign of the decay in their morals and scruples. Let's make the GOP and the NRA follow the way of the great white elephant into obscurity.

That’s like saying, we will eliminate socialism from the face of the planet.

Hillary also promoted Skolkovo, an “innovation city” near Moscow, backed by Kremlin seed rubles worth some $5 billion.

OK Mitch and the Senate Repubs - going to sit on your hands while Trump hands our country over to Putin?

Wonder if she is on the pardon list - maybe that's what Donnie and Vlad discussed in their secret meeting with no US translator in the room...

Prosecute the NRA under the same charges.

Curious that a group like the NRA which has claimed to be so patriotic has had such close ties with Russia. Curious that Russians backed Trump. https://www.thenation.com/article/russiagate-trump-mueller-report-no-collusion/

https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/02/the-russians-colluded-massively-with-democrats/

Putin soon savored more first-class service on the Russian Collusion Express. Barely a month after shafting Poland and the Czech Republic, Team Obama began to ply Putin with planes. To that end, Hillary jetted to Moscow on October 13, 2009.

While visiting Moscow on March 24, 2010, Hillary justified these actions: “Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

Guess Democrats have their own Russian skeletons to deal with.....

One 30 year old Russian being jailed on technicalities-no conspiracy here folks.

But then among Trump's backers are those who say things like 'I'd rather be Russian than Democrat', those backers who feel more closely connected to ultra-right nations like Russia than they do their own American republic, so that's probably to be expected.

Trump the demagogue's demonization of The Other(s), aided by organizations like the NRA, KKK and other white supremacists with further help from Russia continues to further fracture a long divided nation. To the benefit of Russia, China, and other nations.

Republicans sure love Russians. Quite a Sea-change from the 80s.
