Russian police detain journalists who back media freedom

The Russian government under putin has destroyed freedom for ordinary Russians.

Targeted killings, random imprisonment and torture has destroyed Russian society. The world needs to boycott Russia under putin.

Of course the Russian police aggressively pursue anybody their masters tell them to arrest, journalists and the media in this case. The Russian police are nothing more than an extension of Putin's arms and hands to pursue and harass his opposition with.

I don't get it, what the protesting is all about? They were not shut down, all the journalist still have their jobs.. YouTube, Twitter have been using this foreign agent label for a while now, haven't seen any protests about that

Oh man I feel your pain. And it's not just those two. It's widespread across the western world.

Targeted killings, random imprisonment and torture has destroyed Russian society. The world needs to boycott Russia under putin.

There are many countries do similar things sadly. Russia should be boycotted but since most of Europe is highly dependent on Russian natural gas, you’re not going to hear a lot of strong condemnation from them, more finger waving and that will be the end of that.

They should be charged of not wearing face mask in a public place!

Please tell us how media with Chinese, Iranian and North Korean funding freely work in the U.S.

precisely. Don’t see anything on Guantamo prison tortures though in the comments of sufferers for freedom in other countries. None of Yugoslavia bombings ignoring UN. Syria incidents organized by US for independent journalists and civilians to get killed.

Democracy and glorification of human rights in the US?

Love the comments from people who hardly read anything in their life beyond forums, clad in cotton T-shirts from cotton US brands or Japanese UNIQLO imported from China’s slave laborers with their smartphones assembled in China. As if Uyhgur minority forced labour issue is new to global corporations.
