Isn’t the Russian army "discrediting the Russian army"?

21 ( +31 / -10 )

It is not about "Putin". I do not see how any Russian president could have accepted the continued violation of the Minsk agreement and the violence against the Dombass residents without finally reacting. Do you?

Putin is the one who tore up the Minsk agreements in February by recognising the Donbas. He declared that they 'No longer existed'. He then invaded. Up until that point the agreements were still officially in place.

Didn't Vlad tell you this? How odd....

Russia has no idea how Putin has created a negative image regarding the country for decades to come. Being critical about Russia is nothing compared to the future of Russia in terms of the international community. And this goes the same for what Russia's Putin is doing in Ukraine. For decades, Russia will be shunned by the world. Trust is out the door. We all thought the days of Hitler was a thing of the past. It is not. Russia's Putin has brought Hitler back into our lives. Being critical of Russia is going to last a very long time by billions of people.

It is not about "Putin". I do not see how any Russian president could have accepted the continued violation of the Minsk agreement

Just to clear up the facts, the Russians were also routinely violating the Minsk Agreements. And nothing in those Agreements themselves provides any sort of justification of a Russian invasion of Ukraine in relation to their breach anyway.

Also, sorry, but it is about Putin because he is the guy who did this, not some hypothetical other Russian President. Your argument is the equivalent of defending Hitler because if he hadn’t been the guy in charge some other Nazi would have done the same horrific things anyway.

violence against the Dombass residents without finally reacting. Do you?

This is just a ridiculous defence of Putin’s invasion. In order to protect the residents of Donbass from a violent war, he unleashed a far more violent and destructive one that is killing and displacing way more of those exact residents of Donbass he just couldn’t abide seeing harmed? This makes no sense.

That’s how it goes when you live under a dictatorship. Any expressed opinion can land you n jail or worse.

Welcome to today’s Russia!

18 ( +28 / -10 )

Got to admire the Russians standing up to Putin’s thuggery.

Maybe Putin should detain the top brass of the FSB for "discrediting the Russian security services".

According to them, Darya Dugina was killed by a Ukrainian woman who entered Russia in a Mini Cooper in July, accompanied by her 12-year-old daughter. The security services kept tabs on her, noted that she changed license plates on the car three times, took up residence in the same building as Ms. Dugina for a month, and followed her as she moved through Moscow. They know that she planted the bomb under her car (though they did nothing to remove the bomb, evacuate the area, or warn Ms. Dugina of the danger) and that she then left Russia for Estonia - without any attempt by the security forces to detain her.

Discrediting the FSB for incompetence on a par with the incompetence of the smoking Russian soldiers who set fire to the Moskva causing it to sink, and other Russian soldiers who dropped lighted fags in Crimea, blowing up ammo dumps and trashing eight fighter jets.

@willie

you conveniently skipped the part where Russia violated the 1994 Ukraine sovereignty agreement

Russia feeding on it's own for speaking the truth. How much lower can Russian politics go?

Only the Putin authorized "fantasy truth" can now be spoken by the people and the politicians alike. Speak of the real situation and face arrest, fines and jail or all three. The truth has no home in today's Russia, and as China spouts regurgitated Russian propaganda, truth also has no home in China.

Let us hope they can sink no further than war crimes, outlawing the truth, and stopping people from expressing their opinions. Autocrats, where they can make s--t smell like roses if your willing to believe them and not trust your nose.

Huge Russia afraid of small Ukraine!!! It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad!!!

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Before we get upset about politicians being arrested, let’s take a moment they are, have legitimate convictions about the projection of Russia. They know they are in danger but persist. They are Hero’s of the Russian State not rapists, not torture killing a man walking a dog. These are the heroes.

Bet Ukraine wishes it had kept about 10 or so of those nukes about now. It wouldn't be having any of its current troubles, that's for sure.

An excellent point, Cleo!

According to them, Darya Dugina was killed by a Ukrainian woman who entered Russia in a Mini Cooper in July, accompanied by her 12-year-old daughter.

Yes - it is so - crime solved

Please....you may accept Russian State TV explanations but the rest of us refuse to live in a Potemkin Village...'

There just happened to be numerous cell phone cameras that captured the explosion....

Then her father turned up ten minutes later....

Then the FSB investigated and came up with a suspect within 48 hours...

Balderdash....just another ham-fisted FSB false flag op designed to fool the public...this daughter is probably living large in one of Putin's palaces or dachas....and the victim in the car that was too burned to be identified was likely a poor Ukrainian women kidnapped from the Donbass...

Roizman, a former mayor of the city of Yekaterinburg, is being investigated for "discrediting the Russian army", TASS reported, citing Yekaterinburg security services.

Discrediting the Russian Army? Every General and Admiral in Russia's military is guilty of that....

Clearly false and inaccurate intel leading up to the invasion...

A failure to capture Kyiv within three days as predicted....and the humiliating retreat...

Russian tanks littering Ukraine without their turrets...

The proud Russian flagship Moskva collecting rust at the bottom of the Black Sea...

The retreat from Snake Island...

Airfields and ammo dumps blowing up in Crimea....and the Russian haven't figured out how...

The daily war crimes...

Perhaps Putin should accept responsibility as leader and Commander in Chief - and have himself arrested and charged...

I wouldn't hold my breath though...

that’s why they are bombing EUs biggest NPP, which the wind flows into Russia.

Yeah, except they’re not. That’s mini-me.

It’s in keeping with Russian doctrine to escalate in a losing situation to de-escalate.

So about as convincing as your Nazi theory.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Unlike Lincolnman (whom I usually agree with) I do not think the daughter is living large, I think she's dead. But I do think this bombing had all the hallmarks of a false flag and I am not one to normally go for that kind of thing but it is in keeping with Russian tradecraft.

Cleo said it much better than I could so rather than butcher his/her words, I will copy and paste while again crediting Cleo.

Essentially the idea that the FSB could wrap everything up in such a nice neat bow and place it at the feet of Ukraine while not doing a thing to save the woman is too cute by half. (still not as well stated as Cleo).

because they don’t want to even consider to hold Ukraine accountable for anything.

Lol Hold Ukraine accountable for what? For Russia arresting politicians for criticizing the Russian invasion of Ukraine?

It never ceases to amaze me how the American right can blame seemingly everything on Ukraine, but can't be bothered to actual criticize the invaders.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Mr. Putin demands Absolute Loyalty and nothing else. with me or against me.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

He will be released. He should be thankful they didn’t blow him or his children up because you know…

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

I'm from Yekaterinburg, Russia...

So - very intresting - top news... lol

It's OK guys

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

This situation in Ukraine is gonna,be bad in Ukraine, Russia and the rest of Europe, involved in dysfunctional war, when winter set in ,in 3 month

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Who thinks it was a false flag?

But I do think this bombing had all the hallmarks of a false flag

and

just another ham-fisted FSB false flag op

neither of whom are me. So criticize them if you dont agree.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

You don't need any to believe Trump won

Because no one is talking about Trump or the 2020 election but you.

repetitive broken record I didn’t say my opinion either way or it’s false flag or not by the way. My comment was about the false flag deniers suddenly loving that as an unproven explanation.

what the problem?

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

So the people who scoff and make derogatory comments when others mention false flags are now pushing……false flags. Typical.

because they don’t want to even consider to hold Ukraine accountable for anything.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Micheal, Russia had a negative image for centuries, you just realized that

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Bet Ukraine wishes it had kept about 10 or so of those nukes about now.

that’s why they are bombing EUs biggest NPP, which the wind flows into Russia.

all opposition parties in Ukraine are banned and top people imprisoned.
