South Korea does not need stealth capabilities" to overpower what North Korea has, And they certainly don't need stealth capabilities in order to conduct a pre-emptive strike against North Korea since that would pit them against China which is obligated by a 1961 treaty to defend North Korea from attack. The South Koreans are being driven by their perpetual need-to=keep-up-with-Japan complex, nothing more.

South Korea will most likely use this opportunity to buy cheap PRC knock-off fighters.

I'm surprised that Seoul hasn't already been renamed kim il jong city and the masses goose-stepping to their PRC masters beat.

as for rhetoric towards Japan, I am not seeing much difference between South Korea and China, US should be careful of what South Korea is able to purchase from the US. Just as Taiwan is cozying up to China. Technology is an expensive item when it comes to anything that can be transfered to a foe. Ma for one, I would not trust in the least and for South Korea these days and even the past when it comes to China and Japan, I would not put much faith in South Korea as well. Then there is Australia. hmmmmmmmmm Australia has continually sold out their natural resources to China. Do people try and forget what China still is today??? Who are the leaders and waht they are doing in the region with their new given power??? Then there is South Korea and Japan, close interaction, then political greed comes into play and S. Korea's leaders starts their anti-Japan campaigns again. Something China leaders themselves never tries to put an end to as it only cements their position of the elite's power over the silenced public!
