SK people not happy. China not happy. Russia not happy. US arms dealers so happy!

Sounds familiar. What other countries spend billions on weaponry and have millions living below the poverty line?

Oh, so NOW they want the THAAD set up.   Once again reality of the situation slaps idealism in the face hard.  NK was left to fester, and now the boil is getting worse.

Only thing I can see happening is SK and Japan need nuclear capabilities ASAP.  And unless NK regime decides to peacefully negotiate a treaty towards unification (which would mostly require the NK regime to dismantle), it's going to be a permanent stalemate from here on out.  

Was it worth it world?  I've said for quite a while that if you keep sweeping a problem under the rug, eventually it will grow too big to be ignored.  Now it's getting too big to be ignored...  what you gonna do now?

Wish it wasn't necessary, but considering the circumstances . . . well, best to honor every threat.

all these people say NK citizens don't have food, eat grass. but, they can have 70 subs off the coast of america? how about peace? they have resources we need. lets be friends.

The THAAD deployment has infuriated China, which argues that it will destabilise the region.

South Korea needs THAAD only because North Korea continues to destabilize the region. Which is something that China can stop but won't. Hope this new Moon gets his head on straight as to who he is dealing with. This third generation Kim seems far less open to discussions than his predecessors.

Send in the self defense - i.e. SK's self defense. There are hundreds of SKs paying to avoid military service. NK makes sure everyone participates in military training. Maybe it is easier for SK to ask for THADD protection, then pretend it wants to be friends with NK. Japan needs to realize that it really doesn't matter what it does to prevent NK from targeting Tokyo. SK needs to defend itself or submit to the new "big dog" in town.
