Bloomberg has a history of enforcing and defending racist policies, not to mention saying in only 2015 that 95% of criminals are minorities, wants to cut social security, and, unbelievably, has had more sexual harassment allegations than Donald "grab 'em by the pussy" Trump. He's just a slightly more polite Donald Trump, and he isn't fit to be President.

Go Bernie.  Mike isn't a proper Dem candidate.  He is just a Dem establishment "get rid of Trump" candidate.   And he won't even succeed at doing that.

As a non-American I like to emphasize that my opinion is worthless, but I'd say Sanders has no hope of getting elected by the American people.

In my place of voting right, I've never once voted for the party that went on to lead a government (not once! I gave up and live in LDP-dominated Japan...), because I always voted for what I believed in.

Crazy Bernie is on the opposite side of the spectrum, but it's the same thing. He might get some votes but he'll never win the whole election. I'd have to say the same of Warren, although to a lesser extent.

So do Democrats wanna vote for what they believe in (and lose forever like me), or do they want to win the election?

Democrats have to select one of the moderates and rally behind her/him quickly, to roll Trump, who has been an embarrassment for the U.S., besides the magnificent tax cuts and not getting in the way of economic growth too much. (A pity about the wild ongoing spending and trade wars and all the other unsavory stuff which needed be listed.)

"Imagine a multi-billionaire opposing a raise in the minimum wage. Imagine a multi-billionaire asking for cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid," Sanders told the crowd.

Yeah, but surely he'd be better than Trump. Bloomberg can have a broader appeal, whereas America would need to go full socialism to ever elect a Sanders.

America would need to go full socialism to ever elect a Sanders.

What does socialism mean? Do corporations like Microsoft become nationalized? Please be specific.

Bloomberg- another racist running for president on the Democrat ticket. No surprise- they have been running racists for office for around 200 years.

Bloomberg is going to turn out to be a flash in the pan as the Dems thrash about for an electable candidate. The party is divided among the far Left and neo-Communist wing. The sad thing is that Bloomberg is the least dangerous of any of the candidates save Klobuchar.

loomberg- another racist running for president on the Democrat ticket. No surprise- they have been running racists for office for around 200 years.

Any cites for this outrageous claim? I know you Trumpophiles think us rational adults should just take your word for it, but that's not how it works in reality.

No emphasis needed, we know.

Bloomberg is going to ravage Trump in the media - calling him a clown, a failure, a liar...Donnie will become so unglued he'll be having more midnight visits to Walter Reed...

Whether he gets the nomination or not, he'll make Donnie's life hell...

Anyone But Trump 2020!

Bloomberg- another racist running for president on the Democrat ticket. No surprise- they have been running racists for office for around 200 years.

The thing is, he did all of these things while he was a Republican. And Republicans overwhelmingly agree with his racist stop and frisk policy, and his stance of assuming that minorities are criminals. Just see people on this very message board defending these policies when Trump does them.

Even you just said that he's a racist, but that he's the "least dangerous" in your view. Republicans will excuse and support racism - just so long as it means they can continue to brutalise the poor.

Bloomberg is going to ravage Trump in the media - calling him a clown, a failure, a liar...

Agreed, he is already making fun of Trump like is hair that looks like a dead weasel on his head or his stupid kids (and how they have to kiss Daddy's butt or they will end up losing their inheritance to a stripper). I can't wait for the insults. But Trump will continue to be president because he will never leave the WH even if he loses the election. Trump is an orange man.

America would need to go full socialism to ever elect a Sanders.

This is a nonsensical statement.

So how many more of these racist recordings are liberals going to ignore? The man has a race problem as well as a discrimination and harassment problem.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

”Bloomberg says many ‘black and Latino males’ don’t ‘know how to behave in the workplace,’ in newly uncovered 2011 video.

Well, for a long time, people have said there’s nothing you can do about it, but blacks and Latinos score terribly in school testing compared to whites and Asians. If you look at our jails, it’s predominantly minorities,” Bloomberg said in the interview.”

horrible comments by a man who is expecting to buy the minority vote.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

So how many more of these racist recordings are liberals going to ignore? The man has a race problem as well as a discrimination and harassment problem.

? No-one is ignoring them. I'm not a liberal, but look above: pretty much everyone who wants Trump gone doesn't want Bloomberg to replace him. His racist policies and statements (which hew closely to GOP beliefs - unsurprising, given Bloomberg was a Republican when he enacted them) are bad, and he isn't fit to be President.

If you could stop sparring with opponents who only live in your head, you'd have a better chance of following the debate.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Then why is Bloomberg in 2nd or 3rd place now beating everyone but Bernie in most places if no liberals want him?

I see “anyone but trump” posted here quite commonly.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Blacklabel: The man has a race problem as well as a discrimination and harassment problem.

Thinking about voting for him?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Why Is Bloomberg's Long History of Egregious Sexism Getting a Pass?

The surging Democratic presidential candidate and Bloomberg LP have fielded nearly 40 sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits over decades.

https://www.gq.com/story/bloomberg-sexism

This is your guy.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

while liberals claim nonsense about Trump from the 1970s.

Being sued twice and losing twice for discrimination isn't nonsense. Your racism is out for all to see.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

No problem, right?

YOU just said Trump's discrimination was nonsense. What did you mean?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Then why is Bloomberg in 2nd or 3rd place now beating everyone but Bernie in most places if no liberals want him?

His massive advertising push.

This is your guy.

It isn't: I don't support him and have said twice I don't think he's fit to be President. Because he has the same views of minorities and women that Trump has. Which isn't surprising, given Bloomberg's extensive history as a Republican. I don't want Trump With A Haircut (D) to be President.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

the nonsense is that liberals and their media always go back to 1973 for your racist claims

You formed your views that racism against blacks is nonsense because of what liberals the their media did?

You are responsible for your own opinion. Own it.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Bloomberg is going to ravage Trump in the media - calling him a clown, a failure, a liar...

Ok, so he’ll spend a billion calling Trump names and then what, the little guy will never become President.

Donnie will become so unglued

Naw, especially that Trump knows it’s Bloomberg of all people.

Whether he gets the nomination or not, he'll make Donnie's life hell...

How? Both will be calling each other names, big deal.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

the nonsense is that liberals and their media always go back to 1973 for your racist claims on Trump but dont hold anyone on your side accountable for what they said recently.

JFC how many times do people have to say "we don't like Bloomberg because of his actions" before you get it through your brain that they don't like him because of his actions?

You are arguing with a fantasy opponent who lives only in your head. Get help.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

pretty much everyone who wants Trump gone doesn't want Bloomberg to replace him.

Your sample size may not be big enough to give accurate indications of that.

Recall that Trump was never the Republican establishment pick; but he won their nomination anyway, and beat Hillary, and now the Republicans are stuck with him this time around, like it or not.

I'm a free market type or the Larry Kudlow-ilk myself, but (were I a U.S. voter) I'd vote for Bloomberg over Trump. Because Trump is a nasty piece of work.

But if the option was full socialism Sanders/Warren versus Trump, I'd have to go with Trump... not because he's a nice human being or a man of character suitable to be President, but because of economic policy matters, which matter to me. Trump gets issues like trade completely wrong, but otherwise he's done ok.

And the election will come down in large part to the economy, like Bill Clinton once said.

But put Bloomberg up against Trump, and then I'd rather have Mr. Bloomberg. No doubt a large number of Republican voters could vote for a Bloomberg, I believe, and put a Democrat in the White House.

I don't see Americans in general coming around to the idea of gleefully paying taxes and receiving great public services, at least during this election cycle.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

But if the option was full socialism

What does full socialism mean? Giving people healthcare? Nationalizing all industries?

What are you talking about?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Ok, so he’ll spend a billion calling Trump names and then what, the little guy will never become President.

Little guy? Trump and his little millions (It's been suggested he's only worth in the 100s of millions) vs. Bloomberg and his 60 BILLION???!!!! Also, Bloomberg will pay off Trump to leave the WH because Trump won't leave on his own if he is defeated in the election. But if Bloomberg offers Trump a little of his pocket change (maybe 1 or 2 billion should do it??) then Trump will agree to leave the WH after Trump's defeat. This is why the only person who can get Trump out of the WH is Bloomberg.

but Bloomberg racist comments as recent as 4 years ago

So what? It's in the past. Trump wants to build his racist wall NOW. But this wall can be defeated with ladders or shovels. Or even wind.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

the nonsense is that liberals and their media always go back to 1973 for your racist claims

The UK PM, Theresa May, complained to Trump after he retweeted dodgy videos from a UK-based racist organization while he was president. She was reportedly disgusted that these racists, who were later jailed, were given publicity by the President of the US.

Trump pulled his smacked arse face and tweeted trash at another Theresa May on Twitter.

The whole thing was a circus of racism, trash and stupidity.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Noidall having a normal one.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Trump won't leave

That's right. But he will if Bloomberg pays him to leave. There is proof that Trump will not leave if he loses the election.

ladders shovels

(and wind)

0 ( +1 / -1 )

What does full socialism mean? Giving people healthcare? Nationalizing all industries?

Cradle to grave entitlements. No thanks....but thankfully the country wouldn’t vote for idiots like Bernie...maybe a nice guy, but it just won’t happen.

What are you talking about?

Making sure we keep our Stars and Stripes, the eagle and not having it with a bear and a hammer and sickle. I really don’t want to watch our military march in goose steps.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Ok, so he’ll spend a billion calling Trump names and then what, the little guy will never become President.

You said the same thing about Donny right up until you decided to cough up your integrity to join the bandwagon supporting him.

Naw, especially that Trump knows it’s Bloomberg of all people.

You must be correct. It's not as if we have thousands of Donny's tweets as evidence that he comes unhinged like a seven year old throwing a tantrum when people call him out.

How? Both will be calling each other names, big deal.

Donny's fragile ego won't give him any rest if a real businessperson is the democratic candidate.
