There will be hundreds of lawsuits and court challenges before election day is even over.

Let the system figure it out. Worked for Bush II. Some Republican voters will not be counted and some won't be from Dems. It's all good. Vote by mail for USA.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

You think you vote by absentee ballot. What about all the people who never get theirs, whose doesnt arrive back in time or never arrives back at all? 16.4 million missing and 3 boxes of ballots just found after the counting deadline in Wisconsin. All those people thought they voted.

Are those 3 boxes that were found evenly dispersed the same as the population or were they 3 entire boxes of all Democrat or Republican registered voters? We are never told the end of the story.

10% absentee ballots for people out of the area, kinda works most times. People suspect, but cant confirm, their vote was counted and feel good enough about it, 100% mail in ballots simply wont work. There will be hundreds of lawsuits and court challenges before election day is even over.

Again, we already vote by mail anyway with absentee ballots.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Voting by mail is more realistic and trusted. If there is fraud it would mean federal prison (mail fraud) so people would fear cheating it. There is wire fraud, of course. But paper trails are easier to enforce. Again, we already vote by mail anyway with absentee ballots. It's already organized. They will just need to scale it up.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Who is going to do the IT infra and security to make this happen? Bill Gates?

VOTING BY MAIL in your district. Works for millions of Americans living overseas. We won a million wars and we can do this. I supported Trump entering office when he won by the rules and Trump people need to understand that when people vote a president out it means OUT. he cannot stay if he loses the election. Americans cannot be denied voting by mail as we can all do this from Japan.

yet is being sued for defamation...

...By One America News. They said Obama was born in Kenya. OAN is part of the Russian government.

And speaking of lawsuits:

Amid the mushrooming coronavirus crisis, Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch are girding for a pandemic of public-interest lawsuits over misinformation and conspiracy theories dispensed by certain Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network personalities such as Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Trish Regan.

whaaaa? you guys dont even accept internet POLLS online as being accurate and we are going to vote for President and Congress online?

Who is going to do the IT infra and security to make this happen? Bill Gates?

Digital voting by internet. Ballot voting.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

and in the end, both of them will have been President twice.

and both of them will have lost a popular vote to Hillary Clinton.

point is?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

at least when Trump talks, on his less than stellar days, we can at least understand what he is trying to say what he meant to say.

Biden, no clue.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

But I feel if Dems says isnt "safe" to hold an election, then we dont hold one.

Do it by mail. We do from Japan. What's the problem?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It’s a sad commentary when speaking incoherently is equated with speaking from the heart.

You had the Previous President who’s a great orator, but couldn’t connect with the majority of the country and fly over States, if he did, his legacy would have still continued.

Remind me of the numbers from 2016 that reflect the will of the people.

Which doesn’t matter since the only thing that matters in the US is the Electoral College, that’s our system and that won’t change. So it doesn’t matter what CA or NY thinks, they don’t call or speak for the entire country.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

BTW who is Rachel Madow?

People who obsess over her Ina negative way are generally FOX viewers who buy the type of products advertised there (yes that age group). If they mention her like that here they are (1) a fox viewer (2) old (3) in bad health (4) a depends customer. Really? Why obsess over her. They are just memorizing a fox Hannity rant.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

It is actually impossible to "prove" the future, you know? But I feel if Dems says isnt "safe" to hold an election, then we dont hold one.

More proof Trump will never leave the WH

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

BTW who is Rachel Madow?

One of the right’s favorite boogeymen. They don’t like her because she’s an intelligent, articulate woman that is not barefoot and in the kitchen.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

But he speaks from the heart, knows how to connect with the average American voter.

It’s a sad commentary when speaking incoherently is equated with speaking from the heart.

Regarding the false claim that he knows how to connect with the average American voter, we know it is incorrect. Remind me of the numbers from 2016 that reflect the will of the people. Where do those numbers come from again? Oh yeah, the popular vote.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Sure opinions are proof and truth over facts.

Trump voters don't want Trump to leave even if he loses the election. Proof:

Trump will need to stay in office until...

(He dies of natural causes)

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

if it's Trump's fault

it's Trump's fault for not having a solution to pay for healthcare costs. At least you are safe in Japan with their government healthcare. How about TrumpCare? It's making the economy worse. You lose your job in Japan you can still get healthcare. You lose your job in the USA you have to sell your house to get hospitalized.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

But possibly you're right. The Biden crowd is so feverish with antitrump madness, they'll vote for Joe no matter how delirious joe is and no matter how atrocious he performs and no matter how harmful his policies are.

Probably true. The same goes for Trump supporters who will make excuses for his utter detachment from the truth, his ignorance and his trash.

As you said, it’s so polarized.

So my point that the debates won’t matter too much stands.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Trump will need to stay in office until we can hold a safe, valid election at the polls in 18 months or so.

More proof Trump will never leave the WH

0 ( +0 / -0 )

you wouldnt be suggesting that Trump supporters are dying and thats good, would you? I certainly hope that its my comprehension problem and that isnt the insinuation here.

The pandemic will decrease Trump voter numbers.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Sanders will continue to campaign and push his supporters to vote for Biden. Trump is troubled and he well knows it. Bloomberg will add his wealth to the Biden campaign. All three agree that Trump must go.

Uh-oh...looks like Biden is going to have a tough time, yeah, he may get money from Bloomberg, but Trump has the donors and that’s just 1st Q!

I’m not sure how much the debates matter. Trump lied about telling his supporters to watch a non-existent sex tape on a live TV debate and his supporters didn’t care.

Clinton lied, both of them as the last President, but people didn’t care either.

As Bass said, he speaks from the heart...

As do the media...wait....lol

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I'm Joe Biden.

I don't think this is true.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

could you imagine Biden trying to defend himself in a one on one debate with Trump? He can't even speak a full sentence.

I’m not sure how much the debates matter. Trump lied about telling his supporters to watch a non-existent sex tape on a live TV debate and his supporters didn’t care.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

You do agree that Donny is forgetful and incoherent.

Doesn’t mean, I like him less. I’ve always said, he’s not the greatest orator. But he speaks from the heart, knows how to connect with the average American voter.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

If the majority of Sander's supporters vote for Biden then Joe is in with a chance. Last time out Hillary beat Trump by 3 million votes. The pandemic will decrease Trump voter numbers. Mathematically possible

Probably won’t happen as young voters historically have less of a turnout. Mathematically possible, but being in the 40’s-50’s polling range and now his effort to get business back on track and add to that how the Dems twice now have been a roadblock in trying to block aid to the people, this doesn’t nothing but help Trump.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I mean think about it all. Bloomberg was the savior to save us all from Biden.

Uh, this was never the case. You were whining and complaining about how terrible Bloomberg is... before he rightfully got his ass kicked and then you whined and complained about how unfair it was that he got dunked on, for the simple sin of being an appalling human being.

These "trends" you identify exist only in your mind.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Just to clarify your position, are you starting a rumor, or repeating one?

No I'm clarifying Trump's position. Remember when he lost the popular vote and he accused 10m of voter fraud? No rumor

1 ( +2 / -1 )

if I wasnt old enough to vote for Reagan, I was even younger when Carter ran, so no I didnt.

Did you vote for Jimmy Carter over Ford?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I mean think about it all. Bloomberg was the savior to save us all from Biden. But then Warren took him out on behalf of Bernie. then Bernie quits to clear the way for Biden. while Bloomberg has disappeared from the face of the earth after wasting 1 billion dollars on a failed campaign and being overshadowed by Cuomo. Cuomo who is now polling even with Biden in some polls.

It was all kind of pointless. Repubs have paused all the heavy political attacks but as soon as Biden comes back out, those will restart. Plus now he has a #metoo problem he didnt have before.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I wasnt old enough to vote for Reagan

Did you vote for Jimmy Carter over Ford?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Pence will likely be on the ballot for 2024, after Trumps second term is over.

Way to avoid the point. Was Pence tested through a primary to win a mandate to take over the duties of President if needed? The answer is no. That's what you're attacking Harris for, but the truth is that she has even more of a mandate than Pence, since she was at least in a primary, so your point is moot.

Unless you think that Pence has a mandate from the people on the basis that he was on the winning ticket. In which case, if Biden/Harris won, the same would be true for her, so your point is moot.

Thanks for agreeing with me that those on the right are incredibly anti-choice.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Safety first.

No if he loses the election he will call it fake news. He accused 10 million illegal votes vs Hillary remember? and he will do it again. Even if he loses the electoral vote he will call it fake news and refuse to leave.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Sneezy - Let's say Donald Trump picks Mike Pence as VP. If he needs to replace Donald Trump, he would be a person literally no-one voted for. How's that gonna work?

And you would be wrong. Eligible voters voted for Trump/Pence. Trump ran for President, and Pence ran for Vice President. That is the way the system in the U.S.A. works.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

I wasnt old enough to vote for Reagan, that is why I give Bill Clinton the edge for best president in my lifetime.

Carter is/was a wonderful human being but that gas crisis, bad economy and Iran hostage crisis kinda limited him to one term as I remember.

even Carter is better than anyone the Dems currently are trying to force on us. I would take Cuomo right now over Biden. too much risk, the media cant cover up for him forever, and he needs to come out of his basement sooner or later. its a long time still until November,

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

It’s funny, liberals laugh at Trump for being forgetful, being incoherent, and old, but with Biden being old, incoherent and forgetful, that’s an attribute. ROFL!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Plus, for Biden as well as he has his own problem from 1983.

Did you vote for Reagan/Bush over reelecting Carter?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Didnt you hear? its supposedly already decided by Dems its not safe to vote 7 months from now due to coronavirus. Trump will need to stay in office until we can hold a safe, valid election at the polls in 18 months or so.

Safety first.

He will have a second term since he won't leave office even if he loses general election

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Remember that Kavanaugh guy? wasnt a 30 year old standard used on him when he was a high schooler for something he didnt even do?

Compared to a grown man, 22 years ago, in office, in the White House, that was proven? I think we use the Kavanaugh standard on this one too. Plus, for Biden as well as he has his own problem from 1983.

Using today’s standards for something that happened 22 years ago. Makes complete sense. We better start re-writing all the history books.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

and unlike Obama and Biden, I am certain Trump will enthusiastically and publicly endorse and support Pence in 2024.

its like Trump said: Obama knows something.......

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Pence will likely be on the ballot for 2024, after Trumps second term is over.

My point is that no-one had a chance to vote for Mike Pence. But you guys on the right are very anti-choice, so I shouldn't be surprised.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

As opposed to knowing in advance that we are voting for a guy who will likely be president for a year or two, tops.

You do not, in fact, know that.

My point is that people had a chance to vote for Kamala directly, they chose not to.

My point is that no-one had a chance to vote for Mike Pence. But you guys on the right are very anti-choice, so I shouldn't be surprised.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Thats exactly how our government is built. current VP replaces the President in an emergency.

As opposed to knowing in advance that we are voting for a guy who will likely be president for a year or two, tops. My point is that people had a chance to vote for Kamala directly, they chose not to.

Let's say Donald Trump picks Mike Pence as VP. If he needs to replace Donald Trump, he would be a person literally no-one voted for. How's that gonna work?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Lets say he picks Kamala as VP. The President by 2022 will then be a person less than 1% of Dems voted for and 0% of Republicans voted for. Hows that gonna work?

Let's say Donald Trump picks Mike Pence as VP. If he needs to replace Donald Trump, he would be a person literally no-one voted for. How's that gonna work?

Take your time.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Can you imagine how much more pissed he and his supporters will be if Hillary steals the nomination again?

Uh, she's not in the race.

Don't rule it out.

I am, in fact, going to rule it out.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Bill Clinton by the way, was one of the best, if not the best, President of my lifetime.

Probably the best post-war President.

It’s sad to see Biden with his mental faculties deteriorating as the Democrat choice against a compulsive liar who didn’t have decent mental faculties to begin with.

Bill Clinton in second gear would have wiped the floor with Trump. Obama would have hammered Trump. Sad to see that the lack of real talent on the Democrat side has given Trump a real chance at a second term.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Why can’t USA have a strong leader like Putin or Xi Ping? Choice of next president is Sociopath vs. Dementia.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

A reason? just like the Trump impeachment. Repubs can just say he obstructed some investigation that they made up into something the new Dem President does or says that they dont like. Anything will do, as it doesnt have to be a crime and doesnt even need to be proven that is happened. Just allege it.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Blacklabel: There is no reason Repubs would not impeach a Dem president

Gotta have a reason. Repubs tried this with Obama, talked a lot about impeachment, but had the small problem of having nothing to impeach him over.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

I am still not sure how the party of diversity ended up with the oldest, pale white candidate in the nation’s history.

Leave Biden alone, the Dems don’t have anyone else, if he fails, that’s it. Don’t jink it.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

That’s funny Chip Star. The 2020 contest provides no better choice than 2016. It is actually going to be remarkably the same. Two candidates that no one is enthusiastic about. Both are terrible candidates yet one has to win.

Agreed. Neither can make a coherent sentence, though Biden does slightly more often than Donny.

I am still not sure how the party of diversity ended up with the oldest, pale white candidate in the nation’s history.

It’s the only way to appeal to moderate conservatives that can’t stomach Donny.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

At least 15% of Bernie supporters are going to vote for Trump.

This was the right thing to do.

No, it's not the right thing to do to support someone with obvious dementia, who wants U.S. taxpayers to pay for illegals' healthcare and who voted for the Iraq war.

The highest priority is to defeat trump.

What for? Most Americans are better off than they were 3 years ago.

Then, keep the House. Then, turn the Senate blue.

Nah, we want our country to move foward, not stagnate or implode.

Bernie Sanders is a charlatan! Disagrees with all sleepy Joes policies and now endorses him. I feel sorry for his supporters.

Can you imagine how much more pissed he and his supporters will be if Hillary steals the nomination again? Don't rule it out.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Yep, Dems set the precedent.

There is no reason Repubs would not impeach a Dem president under the "no crime required" mandate.

Luckily with Joe, there wont be a Dem president. His only hope is to have a virtual Democratic convention, have all the debates cancelled, and then 100% mail in voting. Even then, he will be lucky to win all the states Hillary won in 2016.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

I can see where you are coming from on this; however, this situation would result in an impeached and removed president.

That’s how American politics are played now. If the Republicans failed to counterattack they will always lose. Got to impeach. They have to bring the gun to the knife fight - or else the Dems will.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Well now that Biden is the Democratic nominee, say hello to another four years of Mr. Trump.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Bernie Sanders is a charlatan! Disagrees with all sleepy Joes policies and now endorses him. I feel sorry for his supporters.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

It’s also not Donny, so which third-party candidate are you planning on voting for?

That’s funny Chip Star. The 2020 contest provides no better choice than 2016. It is actually going to be remarkably the same. Two candidates that no one is enthusiastic about. Sanders endorses ex-rival Biden for U.S. president

The DNC check must have cleared.

9 ( +14 / -5 )

Seems the best solution is a democratic President with Republicans controlling both houses. The current setup is highly dysfunctional because the Senate GOP are refusing to behave like adults and check the manchild-President.

I can see where you are coming from on this; however, this situation would result in an impeached and removed president.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

I would never vote for Bernie. Much, much, much too far left.

I'd rather not vote for Joe, but I cannot vote for Trump. My conscience won't allow it. What can a Never-Hillary && Never-Trump person do?

Joe is the least offensive choice. Simple. The economy is already screwed thanks to 20 yrs of massive deficits.

The GOP has lost me for so many reasons. They are wrong about abortion, wrong about spend-spend-spend-spend, wrong about gay rights, wrong about restricting voter registrations, recreational drug use, under taxation.

Democrats are wrong about many things too - illegal immigration, death penalty, rent controls, over taxation off the top of my head.

Seems the best solution is a democratic President with Republicans controlling both houses. The current setup is highly dysfunctional because the Senate GOP are refusing to behave like adults and check the manchild-President.

This was the right thing to do. The highest priority is to defeat trump. Then, keep the House. Then, turn the Senate blue.

We've had enough of the failed leadership in this White House. Let's move back toward sanity.

-4 ( +8 / -12 )

when Sanders lost the presidential nomination race to Hillary Clinton but delayed endorsing her candidacy, in a move seen as deeply damaging in that it exposed a divide within the party.

Not sure where you are getting your facts from but Bernie Sanders did 42 (FORTY TWO) rallies for Hillary after he dropped out in 2016. How Democrats say he hurt her campaign is beyond me. Its called fake news.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Independent voters see that and we will be voting for the only candidate who can complete a full cogent sentence. And its not Biden.

It’s also not Donny, so which third-party candidate are you planning on voting for?

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

Bernie you gave up on fighting for medicare for all and just bowed down to Democrats. Independent voters see that and we will be voting for the only candidate who can complete a full cogent sentence. And its not Biden.
