I know if Clinton wins the next primaries, she deserves the nomination, but her getting destroyed by Trump in the debates is a real concern for me. Trump has shown himself to be immune to criticism, as baffling and unfair as that may be. But when he attacks Clinton about lies and big-money connections, Clinton simply won't have a good response.

On the other hand, all Trump has on Sanders is him being a socialist. Sanders' reply would be a big "So what?" to what what I predict would be roaring applause.

If we're going to stop Trump, I really think Sanders is the better bet. Come on Cali, the country needs you!

The democrats did the same thing in the South in the 1960s, only back then they used fire hoses and police dogs. Now the DNC deploys its lackeys within its media Super Pac to do the scrub work. . . .

I agree that media calling elections before they're over is bad journalism, but you know that if they actually recounted all the ballots (including the write-in ballots which Gore admittedly overlooked as well) in Florida, Gore would've won, right? Not just the state, but the presidency. The Supreme Court overstepped their bounds big time when they stopped the recount. Gore was robbed.

Florida was different. Remember, the MSM mistakenly called Florida for Gore, thinking that all the polls in that state had closed at 8 EDT. However, the panhandle is in the central time zone.

But I agree, whether she deserves it or not, the DNC's Super Pac will be calling Mrs. Clinton the winner in November unless Sen. Sanders becomes this election cycle's Ralph Nader to deny Mrs. Clinton her coronation. . . .

He shouldn't worry. If Hilary wins the presidency he can expect himself to be pardoned, just the same way Bill pardoned him on his last day in office for dealing cocaine back in the 80s.

I don't think anyone has called the remaining primaries for clinton before the polls open, but that after winning in Puerto Rico she reached the "magic number". Of course, that's only by including the super delegates.

OK, so enough Democratic delegates screwed up to make Hillary the apparent nominee, but don't forget all the Super Duper delegates who haven't voted yet and could switch to Sanders if Hillary gets indicted. As it is, she is still being investigated by a dozen FBI agents for her email server screw-up.

She won Puerto Rico delegates. Its super delegate will attend convention but its delegate count is added. And one more place she won. She has been popular with these small forgotten US territories.

Criminal Hillary may need herself to be elected just to stay out of jail, so one wonders what Hillary is willing to pay to keep the delegate and super-delegates from switching. Or are the delegates being expunged and replaced.

Superlib, I love Sanders, but Clinton has already won more than 3,000,000 more popular votes - a small margin for a primary, but larger than most recent presidential elections, basically matching the Bush-Dukakis vote, which was considered a blowout.. Nobody is calling Clinton the winner in California, but given that the vote is proportional, not winner-take-all, given that Clinton will likely do very well in Jersey on the same day, and given that she's already clinched the nomination when factoring in superdelegates - well, as usual, my home state doesn't have much of a voice - except to ensure Sanders a large place at the table.Thursday will be time to heal.

Only 65% of Sanders supporters in the California primary would definitely vote for Hillary in a Hillary-Trump match-up.

Doesn't mean anything, even if she is elected. The FBI already said, they will take their time and rush the investigation, so whether she wins the presidency or not, charges could come up at anytime.

Clinton delayed Calf campaign and stayed in Puerto Rico to talk with officials and people. Once upon a time it was a touristy haven but it is the poorest Place in any place in USA. I think she figured people prefer eating food is more important than Income redistribution for other USA citizens, and she just stayed there. Sanders was there and preached his income redistribution and hurried to Calif.

This widely touted statistic is factly inaccurate. The number represents primary results, but it does not include most caucus states, almost all of which Sanders won, and usually by a wide margin (like Washington). Caucus states report their numbers differently and/or do not give the popular vote tally.

Interesting that nearly everyone fails to report this when stating that 3 million number. Gives me great trust in journalism!
