....and they attacked the RNC as it was total pandemonium. It wasn't even near the turmoil the DNC is in right now.

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

New name Rotten Clinton

-5 ( +7 / -12 )

What a pathetic mess and a joke!

-1 ( +11 / -12 )

More to come. Wait till The Bern takes stage.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

Having a whole lot of schadenfreude right now......

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Wasserman Schultz just got promoted and praised by Clinton to be her honorary 50-state chair. Clinton just really doesn't want to win. Sanders and his voters are just being played for suckers

Sanders would be better off pulling a Cruz and walking off the stage at this point. With the two most hated candidates in USA history he's better off being the only positive candidate. Normally I wouldn't think a 3rd party candidate would do anything but split the vote but in this case both Trump and Clinton are the worst USA can offer within both their respective broken systems, so he has a chance to unite the country against both

1 ( +7 / -6 )

What a debacle. Hillary should actually step aside and acknowledge she's destroying the party, but that would require selflessness and integrity so it will never happen!

3 ( +11 / -8 )

Bernie got screwed over by his own party. He should be a thousand miles away from the DNC. They (the Democrats) must've really compensated him financially for their dishonesty.

HRC said she would make America whole again. This statement suggests integrity. Clearly there is NO integrity in the (D) party. Why is Debbie W. Shultz "suddenly" resigning then?? Trump 2016 or bust!

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

"firestorm"

Ha haaa haa ha ah ah

Three idiots yelling and somehow Democrats Are Dooooooooooomed.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

Three idiots yelling and somehow Democrats Are Dooooooooooomed

Not doomed. Just in a bit of disarray. . . let me refresh ur memory. Debbie W. Shultz is a dirty, rotten, conspiring little snake. HRC (the beneficiary of the scandal) is a worm. No more, no less.

. . . And some posters say the Republican Party must be destroyed. Heh -keep dreaming.

-4 ( +6 / -10 )

Three idiots yelling and somehow Democrats Are Dooooooooooomed.

Well, not so rosy the way the Dems and liberals were trying to portray their party. The Dems are now that we see it unfolding before our very eyes that they are equally as bad as the GOP and therefore and without a doubt, they should be destroyed and I know you agree with me. By the way, who are these idiots?

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

This what happens when the people are not heard. Very obvious now isn't it! Hillary got here MSM pals to steal the nomination.

And Philly is now under a sweltering heat wave. Not surprising since Hillary Heat Miser Clinton is in town.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wbfgVEk-mxQ

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

the Democratic Party now stands revealed for what it is.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

LOL@Fizz. Funny vid. HRC 101F eating fireballs and breathing fire. That vid pretty much sums up the DNC. Thankx, good laff.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Now Warren is speaking trying to claim that the system isn't corrupt and Washington works well for the rich, so isn't she and Hillary part of that Washington establishment? What am I missing here?

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

"Trump was a frequent target throughout the night, though the jabs were often more mocking than mean. The tone was a sharp contrast to the Republican convention, where the attacks against Clinton was bitingly personal, including chants of “Lock her up.”

A political convention with understandable tension but it doesn't sink to the level of Trump's yokels acting like a pro wrestling audience.

Very civilised.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

@DNC, Senator Elizebeth Warren is blasting Trump for spreading fear among Americans and accused him of divide n' conquer.

What nonsense. She need look no further than divider-in-chief obama, buffoon Kerry and the corruption/ division within her own party. The (D) elites rigged the primaries. Stand down HRC & Debbie W Shultz. At least Trump won fair n' square. A good ole' fashioned win, not a crooked one. Stand down now crooked Hillary.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

I would love to see him take the mic, and not say a thing, but lift up his 2 middle fingers and tell the audience to sit and rotate.

How can this man let these people do this to him?

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Warren was a disgrace. She was full on contradictions and anger and she talks unity.

Booker was okay but contradictions were there.

Michelle O did very good.

Bernie TBD.

A common thread in Warren, Booker and Bernie is the nation needs much improvement and at the same time rip Trump for his Make America Great Again while the say USA is tops now. How can you improve USA if it's at he pinnacle already.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Sanders is ripping the rich again. He wants our wealthy to leave, I guess. But then we will be poorer.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Again he says we need unity while insulting the Republican Party. How is unity possible when you say republicans are not on the right track.

And.......WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THESE PROMISES???? Raise minimum wage to a living wage. Rebuild the infrastructure. Create jobs, revert to point one, when High minimum wage will reduce that segment of the economy. Will a high school kid working at fast food make $15/hr.? Or are the fast food jobs now careers? Ready to pay $10 for a Big Mac?

Bernie sold out to the rigged party.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

A political convention with understandable tension but it doesn't sink to the level of Trump's yokels acting like a pro wrestling audience.

Corrupted to the core, but yeah, very civilized. ROFL

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

"Trump was a frequent target throughout the night, though the jabs were often more mocking than mean. The tone was a sharp contrast to the Republican convention, where the attacks against Clinton was bitingly personal, including chants of “Lock her up.”

Completely a matter of perspective, and typically biased reporting. Amazing people just eat this up.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

At least half of Bernie supporters will vote for either Trump or a third party candidate. Never Hillary.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

Good video Leila!

Most people have no idea what a trillion dollars is. The democrats don't seem to care. Spend, spend, spend! $20T already and free college, better healthcare, rebuild the roads bridges and water systems add another $20T for that and it's still not enough $$$.

They praised Obama on how well the nation is doing and in the same breath make the points how horrible the nation is doing and Hillary can improve it. Desperate lies.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Michelle Obama is dumber than I thought. She actually said, "There is only one person who I trust with that responsibility. Only one person who I believe is truly qualified to be president of the United States, and that is our friend Hillary Clinton."

Good grief...

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Thankx Leila, good vid.

The DNC stooped really low. Micheal Brown's mother was invited to speak. Why? What for? Her son was NOT a law abiding citizen. Brown should've cooperated with officer Wilson. NOT attack him and go for the gun.

Really? The DNC ought to be very ashamed of themselves. Micheal Brown certainly was NOT a "gentle gianr."

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

the Democratic Party now stands revealed for what it is.

Both parties have been revealed for what they are. I'm advocating for a new party myself. Imagine a party that is neither conservative nor liberal, but moderate. A party that knows when to follow a conservative perspective and when to follow a more liberal perspective as each situation applies. Not just all the way left or all the way right, but the choices that fit by necessity.

Since a lot more voters are becoming "Independent" it's because they don't really fall towards either party. There was an era when I used to be a RINO. But when I hit my 20s I dropped the Repubs like a hot potato and went "Independent".

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Michelle Obama's speech was excellent and I hadn't heard it before.

So classy. So intelligent. So grown-up. She'd make an excellent president.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Hey, Trump may be on top of the polls now, but wait til Hillary gets her convention bump - in fact, she may get bumped right out of the place on her rear end when Bernie rightfully claims the nomination! Hey, a guy can dream, can't he? lol

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Hey guys.....send that video around because there are several by Bill Whittle that are very good.

Why would you dream about Bernie being President - haven't you read what his wife did to Burlington College?

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

So classy. So intelligent. So grown-up. She'd make an excellent president.

Agree. Except for her being president, she'd be heavily influenced by her hubby -who leads from behind. Heh. Perhaps Michelle wears the pants in that relationship. Uh-hu, Trump doesn't have that problem, he's in charge.

So class, intelligent & grown up. Wish we could say the same about M. Brown's mother. She probably would like to see more slain police officer throughout America. Stay classy democrats.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Politics is about moving your agenda forward. Period. If you can fall in love at the same time, great. But most of us won't fall in love every fours and meanwhile the nation's business needs to get done. And Hillary moves the ball forward on most of Bernie's agenda.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Both parties have been revealed for what they are. I'm advocating for a new party myself. Imagine a party that is neither conservative nor liberal, but moderate. A party that knows when to follow a conservative perspective and when to follow a more liberal perspective as each situation applies. Not just all the way left or all the way right, but the choices that fit by necessity.

We have the Supreme Court for that.

Michelle Obama's speech was excellent and I hadn't heard it before. So classy. So intelligent. So grown-up. She'd make an excellent president.

That's what the left think and that's their opinion. Some may beg to differ....

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Bernie the liberal endorses Hilary the neoliberal and to blindly vote for her against Trump - based on what principle, Bernie? The evil of two lessers?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

With Bernie as the only candidate that represented real hope and real change relegated to a sideshow there's very little for those that feel cheated to vote for. Even with adopting many items into the platform from Sanders, more likely they will spurn the DNC, and all the year long machinations against them and their democracy from a biased media to the crazy gavel lady in Nevada to the DNC chair. This makes sure that Clinton does not receive their vote. She never earned it. (On a side note all power hungry women that maybe can dispel the notion that women are somehow immune to the worst of politics.)

M.Obama's excellent speech is misplaced. Hardly a match In the wake of direct action showing that Clinton and her team are not worth it. When D.W.Shultz's promotion as the 50-state chair for Clinton comes to light, it will end any Sanders support if her ousting didn't already.

Given all the fubar, a Trump presidency just got a lot closer and it all started when the DNC deemed democracy a threat to their plans.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

"Michelle Obama's speech was excellent and I hadn't heard it before. So classy. So intelligent. So grown-up. She'd make an excellent president."

"That's what the left think and that's their opinion. Some may beg to differ...."

I know some differ. Some people actually thought a religious lunatic babbling about a biblically inspired tax and Obama declaring martial law was a suitable choice to lead the US.

How cracked is that?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Man.. no wonder the Russians are pushing us around in Easter Europe and Syria. Iran tricked us with the Nuclear deal. And China completely ignoring us and building their islands with a " I don't give a F-" attitude. lol.

This country is being run by a bunch of circus clowns painted RED OR BLUE!

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Unneeeded proof that the "conservatives" here not simply ignore the truth, or even have lost the ability to recognize it, but are actively at war with anyone who works to uncover it.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I know some differ. Some people actually thought a religious lunatic babbling about a biblically inspired tax and Obama declaring martial law was a suitable choice to lead the US.

Yeah...riiiight. So let's just say we can "agree" to disagree.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

"Sanders urges fans to rally behind Clinton as Democratic convention heats up" Well that will never happen.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Michelle Obama is dumber than I thought. She actually said, "There is only one person who I trust with that responsibility. Only one person who I believe is truly qualified to be president of the United States, and that is our friend Hillary Clinton."

I don't think she is dumb. She's just lying. That's what politicians do.

Unneeeded proof that the "conservatives" here not simply ignore the truth, or even have lost the ability to recognize it, but are actively at war with anyone who works to uncover it.

Yes, proof is unneeded when you are a true believer. I envy you.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Almost all the comments are minus, seems like every one realizes that no matter what we are in trouble whoever wins.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Sanders should be very very upset. His supporters were betrayed by the (D) rigged system. Oh well, wonder what they'll do tomorrow.

Will they let Micheal Brown's mum say some more words about justified homicide of her son by a police officer who acted within his reasonable / lawful scope of duty??

Did HRC act reasonably and lawfully at Bengazi?? Perhaps the DNC should invited those widows to speak about things like Justice & how their lives were affected due to criminal gross negligence. Yeah, mm-hmm~~

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Sanders supporters should just start a party, use the sparrow as the logo, and start running for local house and senate seats. Build up in the meantime and then run their own presidential candidate next time. No point in pretending the DNC matters anymore than the RNC

2 ( +3 / -1 )

And yet the facade that is american democracy will continue to be perpetuated until the crows finally come home. What's that Einstein definition of insanity again?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

So, behind the scenes security personnel was confiscating Bernie signs in the arena with threats to remove credentials.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

the word I would choose to best sum up this convention and the charade primaries that preceded it is, BETRAYED.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

No thanks I rather have Trump and let it all burn to the ground than see Hillary as President. What a bunch of con artist the Dem's have become.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

“Based on her ideas and her leadership, Hillary Clinton must become the next president of the United States,” Sanders said."

This is where Sanders is wrong. Not only must Hillary Clinton NOT become the next president, she should go to prison.

What about JIll Stein, Bernie? She's a lot closer to your ideals than Hillary. Oh, I forgot, it always has to be the lesser of the two evils, in which case that's what Trump is. It's not even close, Bernie.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

The most hate-filled evenings of television I have ever seen.

The irony of it all is leftists want a 40+ year lying corrupt entrenched politician to represent them because they are sooo "Progressive". . . . .

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

It would take a very long shafted shovel for the Dems to dig themselves any deeper than they are now. This whole election, on both sides, is a sham. Just wait until all the police killings, somehow instigated and encouraged by the current White House occupant, leads to EO to invoke Marshall law. No one can go out, no one can vote. No one can vote, no election. No election, the end of America!

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Overall, Putin must be a tad disappointed in today's DNC proceedings. Sanders' supporters were given there moment, but the man himself was effusive in his endorsement of Clinton (quite unlike the GOP runner-up), and Michelle's speech was eloquent and binding. Perhaps Putin has more in his bag to leak, but unlikely - if he had, he'd have leaked it already.

Poor Trump. He's known to be Putin's water-carrier now. Google his quotes from today. Sad.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

The most hate-filled evenings of television I have ever seen.

Oh, was C-Span re-running footage of the GOP convention last night?

Texas Aggie also predicted the following: "Look for a whole lotta rioting, burning, looting and arrests."

We looked on Day One and didn't see any of that. No rioting. No burning. No looting. A few minor citations.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

"Poor Trump."

Ya, he's so poor, he's leading in the polls now. Oh, but that's before Hillary gets her bump.

But then Hillary has more baggage than Delta Airlines, so...

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

We looked on Day One and didn't see any of that. No rioting. No burning. No looting. A few minor citations.

But we did see a lot of pandemonium, disarray, the ousting of Debbie Wassermann Schultz (about time), crying, discontent, pouting a lot of BS talk, other than that, yep, everything normal and predictable from the DNC.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

But we did see a lot of pandemonium, disarray,

LOL. It's called "democracy." As Will Rogers famously said nearly 100 years ago: "I'm not a member of an organized political party; I'm a Democrat."

That sea of diverse faces that I saw last night was absolutely beautiful. When they flashed images of Trump in his own words on the screen, I saw Ugly. Day One was AMAZING. What a contrast with the GOP.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Politics is about moving your agenda forward. Period. If you can fall in love at the same time, great.

Are you serious ? Even Sanders has very little, if any, support for his ideas in Congress. Being liked and trusted by the American people is a huge part of moving your agenda forward.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

"When they flashed images of Trump in his own words on the screen, I saw Ugly."

Whenever I see Crooked Hillary Rotten Clinton's smug face on the screen I feel like smacking her.

But then Hillary has more baggage than Delta Airlines, so...

What, and Trump doesn't?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

most hate-filled evenings of television I have ever seen.

Keep going TX. Your posts are vividly accurate, Lmfao!

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Wow I can't believe that the DNC stood up there and said how much of a liar and thief Donald Trump, when nothing has been proven. What we do know is Hi-LIAR-Y is a proven, fraudster, liar and cheat. I just can not believe that the people voting for her can not see this. Its either they support lying, cheating, and Fraud or they are just plain stupid. I think its STUPID!

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Vote for Clinton = voting for WAR

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Shame about Sanders' endorsement. I was really starting to respect the man. He should've distanced himself, then he'd be in a position to pick up the pieces when she finally gets arrested. Going by Wikileaks, there are fewer people more corrupt.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

the anger reflecting the widening rift inside the Democratic Party and the convention hall itself between Sanders’ supporters

Dave Allen liked say, don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Here's the story: The Democrats are divided. The locomotive is careening down the tracks and the bride up 'head is out. Can they pull it together and save the train and all on board?! Keep watching!!

The truth: Sanders and Clinton came together over a month ago. We saw Bernie go to bat in a big way for Team Dem last night. Sanders will continue to lobby hard for Team Dem. A few idiots from my state (I actually know some of them - they are idiots) made some noise. Sarah Silverman told them what's up with that. And, as Bill said "All's well that ends well."

That's the truth of it.

So, the new(s) story is actually going like this today:

"The Democrats started off in a bad position (DNC email-gate) and managed to save that locomotive. But, stay tuned, 'cause things could go wrong any minute. And watch your pearls!!!"

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Sanders supporters were booing Sanders.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He should've distanced himself, then he'd be in a position to pick up the pieces when she finally gets arrested.

Allowing Trump to win by not doing anything to stop it and Sanders would have more influence in the Democratic Party, of which he was never a member to begin with ? There is a lot of naivete about the way these things go down if anyone believes that.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

After Bernie said that Hil LIAR y was not qualified to be president, he now shows his two-faced nature and supports her. No wonder politicians have such a low favorability rating! The Democrooks offer nothing new - just keep the people under their thumb by offering them "free" benefits - what a false sense of reality these people have...

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

He should've distanced himself, then he'd be in a position to pick up the pieces when she finally gets arrested.

Enough of this nonsense already. No matter how many times you and other like-minded members of the far right post this fantasy, the fact is, Hillary will not be going to jail. She won’t be prosecuted or found guilty. She won’t be incarcerated or locked away in the clink. She will neither be wearing that orange-is-the-new-black prison jumpsuit, nor will she be singing “Jailhouse Rock.”

If you want to defeat Hillary and the rest of the Democrats, try coming up with better ideas that truly appeal to the general public instead of resorting to wasteful and futile attempts at character assassination (especially at the tax payers' expense).

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Clinton supporters should distance from Sanders many months ago. They made DNC chair resigned Sanders is never Dem member. Hillary has been against TPP. So is Trump. Sanders delegates said. They are against Hillary because Hillary loves T'p. Asked what is TPP none of Sander's delegates knew.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

If you want to defeat Hillary and the rest of the Democrats, try coming up with better ideas that truly appeal to the general public instead of resorting to wasteful and futile attempts at character assassination (especially at the tax payers' expense).

Oh, and the Dems don't do it?? You guys! LOL Both sides play this game, and of course both are going do a lot of character assassinations to pull in voters. May the best man win and when have liberals EVER been concerned with and how the average tax payer feels?

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Oh, and the Dems don't do it?

No, they don't. They don't set up 8 faux conspiracy theory panels like the bogus Benghazi hearings, engage in wasteful witch hunts like the recent e-mail scandal, or waste tax payer money on investigating baseless charges against organizations like Planned Parenthood. Case in point: How many Democratic investigations were there after 9-11? Did they waste millions of tax payer dollars going after their opposition--especially when it was close to an election? Did they admit to trying to bring someone down at the tax payers' expense like Kevin McCarthy did? Did they spend years and millions of dollars trying to go after the criminals in the Bush/Cheney regime--people who should be in jail because they willfully deceived not only the American public but the world at large just so they could wage an unjust war at a tremendous cost in terms of lives and money?

. . . when have liberals EVER been concerned with and how the average tax payer feels?

Another counter-productive blanket statement that does nothing to add to the discussion.

You can LOL and ROFL all you like. That type of behavior also doesn't do much to further your argument or weaken mine.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

No, they don't.

Of course they do and big time.

They were doing it to Bush and then really went for him as soon as Obama and Holder got into office. Also, you have to remember, as much as I wanted to see Hillary indicted, if you have a Democratic president presiding over a Democratic presidential candidate, it obviously, you will never get anything. If you think that Obama is impartial and he or the DNC would stand and allow her to be indicted, you are really by the shore. You just saw what the Wikileaks emails confirmed about Sanders being swindled, so if they did it to him a rock star with the far looney left, why wouldn't they do it to the Republicans?

Another counter-productive blanket statement that does nothing to add to the discussion. You can LOL and ROFL all you like. That type of behavior also doesn't do much to further your argument or weaken mine.

Oh, it does, but That's usually how the conversation ends up with liberals and Dems, deflect and deflect.
