Gee, a state whose board of education recently voted overwhelmingly in favor of having Creation myth replace evolution in the public school science curriculum voting overwhelming for a man whose views on women's reproductive rights belong squarely on the set of Madmen? Color me not surprised. Kansans do realize people now chuckle whenever the words "rational" and "Kansas" are used in the same sentence, right?

Thanks to all the Super PAC money flowing into support for each candidate, there is no such thing as a decisive result any more. They'll just all keep going until the end. Just think of how much legislation they'll have to enact if they make it to president so they can pay all their buddies and the companies that support them back. There's a word used to describe this sort of process... corrupt.

Gingrigh is the really selfish element out of the three leaders in the GOP race. At this stage it's pretty clear he hasn't got a screaming angry white man's chance in hell. He should do the right thing for the party and remove himself from an already divisive and bitter equasion.

It's often said these partisans are party before country, but Newt is clearly self before everyone. And the result is a bonus for the Democrats.

I have to agree with that after this choice was made.

Obama Names Kansas Governor Sebelius as HHS Secretary

President Barack Obama turned to Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius Monday to help him overhaul a health care system whose cost has risen four times as fast as people's wages in recent years.

Good points, sail. Sibelius is Obama's pick for HHS and recently admitted that she has no idea if ObamaCare will increase health care costs for average Americans. But of course it was never about bringing quality health care to Americans, it was about bringing America under one party control.

In a national Pew Research Center poll last month, Obama led Romney by eight percentage points and Santorum by 10 percentage points

Last month. Today he trails Romney 43 to 48, and as the economy really starts to tank it only gets worse for our chuckle-headed president.

The circus continues and the sinking ship of republican loons just goes down deeper and deeper. They are making Palin look like a reasonable alternative.

I do feel sorry for shorty mcpaul. No one takes him seriously. He looks like he belongs in the lollipop gang.

" it only gets worse for our chuckle-headed president."

Only when you live, as you do, in Opposite Land.

Black is white. Good is Bad.

The November clifftop beckons.

Gingrigh is the really selfish element out of the three leaders in the GOP race.

Are you kidding? The Ging is the only one who stands for $2.50/gallon gasoline! I'm sure all of the other candidates would echo the sentiment if it wouldn't seem like pandering. Lord knows that this bunch hates pandering. Good thing they all jumped on "bomb Iran back to the stone age" at once.

Black is white.

Sadly, no, Madverts - if that were the case, Obama would be leading by much more than the several percentage points most realistic polls showing him doing. (Sorry, Lieb - you should access sites other than WorldNetDaily for your info!)

We all thought it would be over by now but darn that sticky little Santorum!

Romney should be concentrating on Obama tonight but instead he wont win Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri or Louisiana. If he misses Illinois - well, Texas and California will start to seem like an eternity away. Troubled times ahead for Mr. 20%.

Sailwind,

"I have to agree with that after this choice was made."

You mean the Kathleen Sebelius who, along with other Democrats and Republican lawmakers, helped overturn the utter insanity of "Critical Analysis of Evolution" and bring logic and reason back to Kansas science classrooms? Yes, I'm certain you've got some reason to ridicule her in this context, but you'll forgive me if I can't see it.

Creation myth vs. the global warming myth.

Truth is, we have idiots everywhere. And they all want power over our lives.

Screw them! Vote libertarian. Vote Ron Paul.

I ridiculed her using the standards that you set for all Kansans. I could see it clearly based on the context you used.

Sailwind,

Touche, sir.

Obama could possibly lose Idaho and Kansas.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

OK, there's no way Obama could lose Idaho or Kansas, lol.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

As long as he loses the general election, I don't care about Idaho or Kansas.

No need to worry about the length of the primary fight. People have such short memories...... waaaaaaay back in 2008, Obama vs. Clinton/Edwards went on and on too. It was hardly a done deal.

Once Romney wins, he can concentrate on November and restoring a level of fiscal sanity to Washington.
