Sounds like a chance homicide. She ran into some maniac who couldn't control his hormones.

Sounds more like she ran into her ex(Asian)boyfriend who has one heck of a mean streak...

Now thats just sad. Really wonder who did it, and what their motive was. Beautiful girl, right before her wedding. Very tragic.

Or she could've been stalked and killed by a rejected white guy with Asian fever.

No matter who did it, it's a shame. RIP Sweetie. < :-)

Sad.

Probably a student or staff who was secretly stalking her. The person obviously knew the layout of the university building to hide the body, so it wasn`t from a random outsider. Proves we are never truly safe, anywhere. RIP, young lady.

Very sad. I hope the find the person responsible. RIP, Ms. Le.

I hope the New Haven police throw all their resources into nailing the perp. And I don't use the word "nailing" figuratively. It will serve justice if they hurt him badly before they put him away for the rest of his miserable life. (And yes, it was a "him.")

Which I hope will be very short before someone either ganks him in the shower, or they stick a needle in his arm.

STill holding back on the results of the Police investigations. Homicide or suicide or what? No suspects have been announced but plenty of evidence. I really hate it when I hear about young hopeful students suddenly being deprived of life.

Who ever did it is still around. I hope no one walks alone on that campus.

The Yale Secret Society, do they have anything to do with this?

What a terrible, sad story. The body probably is her. For Miss Le, her pain is over. For her family, their pain is just beginning. I pray that whoever did this is caught and punished. This is just a tragedy for everyone. And that she wrote a paper about personal safety would lead me to believe that she knew her killer. It was someone around whom she had her guard down. I really hope they catch him.

He not only knew the layout of the building. He knew her habits and he knew the camera configuration. Hard to do in a pharmacology lab building, I would guess. Stuffing the body into a crawlspace seems eerie and tooms like.

Whoever has access to the building is a suspect. Hopefully they'll find the murderer and the reason why.

This is such a terrible story.

Wow tragic for her family, fiance and his family too. RIP a life taken before the promise could be fulfilled. If I had to speculate it's another student that she has interacted with and had some sort of fatal attraction.

Not only is that building swipe card controlled the cards used to access the building are kept in memory. Unless somebody tailgated or got in with a fake / stolen card this is going to be a very short investigation.

The US press is saying that the cops have raided the home of a prof who has an office in the same building. I think they are just waiting until they have an airtight case.

This is just sick nuts. What a tragedy. I can't imagine what the family is going through.

Disgusting, tragic, and extremely sad. May justice be fair but swift. In a perfect world, the perp would get a public and fitting execution.

With all those cameras and no mention of video evidence I'd suspect the security guards.
