Such Crew Members have no Political bias of note within Maritime matters, they're generally Civilians from quite poor Countries/Families and by detaining them it's the akin to the "Poor robbing the Poor"... Today's anti-"Robin Hood" 's.

I hope the Crew is released unharmed to safety.

This kind of helicopter boarding is something that Iran's Revolutionary Guard practices.

So in the meantime the crew get a free holiday, while the friendly Houtis decide what to do with the ship.

The corporation that owns and operates the ship is incorporated in the UK, is headquartered in the city of Douglas on the Isle of Man, but the company is owned by a wealthy Jewish family. The ship is registered in the Bahamas and leased by the corporation to NYK. A case of some wealthy Israelis owning a British company. It is a tenuous link.

The Isle of Mann is a tax haven. No taxes.
