You might want to include some soul searching in there. Other people in your party have created a roadmap to the White House that includes broadening the GOP to include Latinos. Right now they have an overwhelming negative view of your party and just capturing some of the votes would benefit you greatly.

Your party's problem is that any kind of change is chalked up as capitulation to the dreaded Liberals. You have these core troublemakers who will instantly stab their own party members in the back, and it's usually over ignorance of the issues or a straight up power grab. Republicans know what they have to do but the internal environment paralyzes them.

Trump being a "billionaire" thinks he has enough to fight the Clinton's $100's of millions in donations from foreign big oil interests. It will be an uphill battle against these people with billions in spare change. Can the little guy win? Probably not if 80-90% of his donations go to the Republican Party.

As I said, if he wants to unify the party and get the big wigs on his side, then he has to do this or go alone and take his chances, but this would be the best way and you know, ALL candidates can't keep every promise. It's not a bad thing, this could actually be to Trump's benefit, it shows that the big donors are willing to back him, good for him.
