now if he wants to rub elbows and really get in with the big wigs, it would be better for him to deal with big donors.

That's not what your sort are saying when Hillary is dealing with big donors. Is it one rule for Republicans and one rule for Democrats?

I love the way you're 'evolving'.

Jeez, what's next with Trump? Pretending to be your own spokesperson......?

He said Trump was receptive to a schedule that has 50 to 100 fundraisers over the summer.

Not knocking Trump here, but the amount of time elected officials spend on fundraising is insane. Think about 100 fundraisers over 100 days.

bass4funk: I scratch your back and you scratch mine's.

I thought Trump said he was trying to get away from that in Washington? Won't he have to make policy promises to these people?

I scratch your back and you scratch mine's.

Articulated like a true seasoned journalist.

ALL candidates can't keep every promise. It's not a bad thing,

That's why I ALWAYS vote for the candidate THAT makes me feel like a real he-man, whether or not it makes ANY sense. You know, Mexicans are rapists, build a big wall, torture people, tell the Chinese to shove it, do huge things with the economy, like a real estate deal. Sounds good to me, even it's it's complete horse doodoo. So what. Make my ego great again.

Love the photo: Cluttering one's office with golf trophies would be age-appropriate until one reached about 30. Perhaps he called news services pretending to be Trump spokesman "Jeff Barron" to profess how awesome he is.

On Wednesday, Hillary attended two $100,000-a-head events in Englewood, N.J., and New York City. The next day, again in New York City, she held two more fundraisers that cost donors a minimum of $100,000 to attend, this according to a campaign official.

Clearly Hillary loves Wall Street, and Wall Street loves her.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

why spend his own money GIVEN the probablity he won't win.....might as well continue to live off the big donor hogs.l.. thru November....

1 ( +2 / -1 )

"Clearly Hillary loves Wall Street and Wall Street loves her"

Do you think he'll now switch into his usual childish one-upmanship?

Let's wait for "Nobody loves Wall Street more than Donald Trump and Wall Street loves nobody more than Donald Trump"

You might want to include some soul searching in there. Other people in your party have created a roadmap to the White House that includes broadening the GOP to include Latinos. Right now they have an overwhelming negative view of your party and just capturing some of the votes would benefit you greatly.

Your party's problem is that any kind of change is chalked up as capitulation to the dreaded Liberals. You have these core troublemakers who will instantly stab their own party members in the back, and it's usually over ignorance of the issues or a straight up power grab. Republicans know what they have to do but the internal environment paralyzes them.

You should work on that more.

What? Trump is abandoning one of his core principles? Who could possibly have predicted this stunning turn of events.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

Well, gosh, as rich asTrump is, he needs financial help to battle the mighty Democratic money machine.

Heh, billionaire elitist cosies up to Washington for cash. The "outsider" candidate. Pfffff....

Muppets.

Trump being a "billionaire" thinks he has enough to fight the Clinton's $100's of millions in donations from foreign big oil interests. It will be an uphill battle against these people with billions in spare change. Can the little guy win? Probably not if 80-90% of his donations go to the Republican Party.

The big support Trump got from NYC and now NJ will certainly help. It will be the little guy sending in his spare change of moral support that will propel Trump 100%. Biggest fight for Trump in his life but with the people behind him he must give 100% and hope that Hillary cannot do the same (poor health).

Trump is very busy getting high rollers to back his wild gambit on the Presidency.

Funny, high rollers don't seem to read the papers.

No wonder the Trump fans have been so hysterical over the mention of President William Jefferson Clinton.

Donald J. Trump's reputation is coming on boil just before his date with the New York Court System on Fraud Charges.

Trump is nothing if not a complete waste of time.

"The New York Times interviewed dozens of women who had worked with or for Mr. Trump over the past four decades, in the worlds of real estate, modeling and pageants;"

"Their accounts — many relayed here in their own words — reveal unwelcome romantic advances, unending commentary on the female form, a shrewd reliance on ambitious women, and unsettling workplace conduct, according to the interviews, as well as court records and written recollections."

Karma in Vegas area. Whoever receives Adelson contribution loses election. Example. Gingrich, Romney. Trump's Vegas business is not. doing well , I think. Their is not too many people on Vegas Strip, on mother's day, Vegas Downtown was with too many tourists. There are many reasons,I noticed..

Rather like the vague and intangible promise of "Hope and Change"?

It worked for Obama, twice.

"Trump’s dilemma: By asking for money, he could anger supporters who love his assertion that he’s different from most politicians because he isn’t beholden to donors."

"He’s tried to navigate these tricky waters by saying he wants only to raise money to benefit the party and help elect other Republicans. But his planned joint fundraising agreement with Republican officials also provides a direct route to his own campaign coffers." - article

No wonder Trump is being audited by the Internal Revenue Service, everything he comes up with sounds like a Ponzi scheme. "Trump University" is sure 'nuff proof of that.

If Trump is so squeaky clean, why is he so terrified to release his tax returns as every candidate does?

Trump must be some kind of special person. A real nobility class who can decide when and what he will do as long as it suits his narcissism.

Only a criminal fears the evidence of his crimes. What's Trump's excuse?

Adelson revealed he will donate to Trump.

Revealing income return of Pt candidate was promoted by Harry Reid at last election time : Sanders and Clinton are not short on campaign money. Clinton concentrate on Trump attacking, Sanderson against Hillary. S knows how to be thrifty, Before he became Senator,he had to live with his wife's income onl,y.

@Superlib:Are you sure you are writing about DEM? It has been popular with Latinos already.

Are they any articles of how nerving Hillary is over the last 30 years? Both her and her husband.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I'll bet the Clintons have not spent one dime on her attempt as the nominee. Trump, quite the opposite.

Money buys votes, I don't know how but I'd does. I guess it sways the know nothing voters. The democrats know that and have a ton of bucks to Shepard the sheep.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Sanders promise free free that he gets plenty donation from very poor people. On the contrary, Trump is not targeting poor people.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Heh, billionaire elitist cosies up to Washington for cash. The "outsider" candidate.

Better to cosie up w/ DC than the low income, x-cons, BLM, gang bangers, Iranian mullahs, the Castros', Catholics, illegal mex / central americans . . . transvestites using "whichever" restroom they please.

. . . but hey, Don't blame me, I didn't vote 4, "CHANGE."

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Only a criminal fears the evidence of his crimes.

Not illegal Mexicans. Did you see them kc? Thrashing cop cars, assaulting innocents walking down the street, peeling-out with their "low riders" chanting "F" the police . . . . etc. etc.. .

Trump is not a criminal. Where is ur evidence? Look at the anti-Trumpers / Hillary C. crowd here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPsDZXr2hTM

Thugs are Thugs. Hispanics vote for Hillary Clinton. look @the hispanics in this link. Are u serious??

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

If Trump's tax return shows evidence of criminality, that would make the IRS complicit. This I seriously doubt, it does make your comment rather absurd.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

To save time and realize the obvious, he should raise $1 billion and then donate it to charity.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

my guess is he will be able to collect at least $1 billion. He will use what donors were promised to do. Not any charity. Too many crooks operate charity swindling. He is not dumb.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Not any charity. Too many crooks operate charity swindling.

The Clinton Foundation is an excellent example.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Right now they have an overwhelming negative view of your party and just capturing some of the votes would benefit you greatly.

No biggy. lots of Latinos were on-board w/Bush during / after he spanked that loser -Al Gore.

But the real nitty-gritty is that Hispanics must police themselves and invest, educate while in the US. The Asaians certainly DO NOT have that problem.

RIGHT NOW they (hispanics) have an overwhelmingly negative view of (R) party huh?? Who cares!! Most law abiding american voters have a negative view of illegal mexicans, central & south american latinos who live i the US.

Worse . . . . . the criminals who are here spreading their filth. When they have absolutely NO RIGHT to reside in the United States of America in the 1st place. Its complete nonsense-

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Sanders promise free free that he gets plenty donation from very poor people

Yeah. Very poor people. Sanders had to drastically downsize his campaign staff for lack of funds . . . . why didn't those staffers just continue to pound-it-out on the campaign trail with him for "free."

He still has a shot don't he? My wise old grandfather always used to tell me, when I was growing up, "There's nothing free in this world." -guess he could be wrong.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

It's like buying a car or a house in cash, even if you have the money, you need to build up collateral. Trump so far has financed his way by himself, now if he wants to rub elbows and really get in with the big wigs, it would be better for him to deal with big donors. It's not necessarily a bad thing if you want to really get to where you want to go. I scratch your back and you scratch mine's.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

ALL candidates can't keep every promise.

Exactly. Do B. Sanders supporters actually think higher education will be totally and completely free? Promising "free stuff" is NOT what America is all about!

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Not knocking Trump here, but the amount of time elected officials spend on fundraising is insane. Think about 100 fundraisers over 100 days.

Does that scare liberals?

I thought Trump said he was trying to get away from that in Washington? Won't he have to make policy promises to these people?

As I said, if he wants to unify the party and get the big wigs on his side, then he has to do this or go alone and take his chances, but this would be the best way and you know, ALL candidates can't keep every promise. It's not a bad thing, this could actually be to Trump's benefit, it shows that the big donors are willing to back him, good for him.
