Boooooooo!
He should have held out. They could have always made them retroactive later - but not for the rich. Like I said before I would not mind moving the top tax rate from $373,650. to a number much higher - even $1 mil. But after $1 mil they should return to the previous rates.
We better get START and gays in the military AT LEAST out of this or I will be pissed.

Yeah, nothing like socking it to the doctors and small business people. What did they ever do for us? Me? I'm putting all my hopes in the grasshoppers. They'll cure cancer from their couches. They'll land men on Mars. They'll pay my rent, buy my gas, pay my bills. Obama! Obama! Obama!

The millionaires and billionaires should not receive the tax cuts.
The Bush era tax cuts for the wealthy have been around for nearly a decade and the economy has not significally grow that much until finally....the 2008 bankrupcy.

Correction: 2008 Wall Street crisis.
Though, most of the blame could also go to Bush going into two wars (with the second one being based on lies).

Does it not occur to anybody that the USA has millionaires and billionaires exactly because the USA runs huge deficits? The country runs a trade deficit and has for decades. Where do they think the money comes from?
Ah, of course it comes from the free market and the private sector. Well if they mean the private sector that gets the whole population to go in debt up to their eyeballs to buy overpriced real estate at artificially low interest rates set by a central planning committee, then they would be right too.

I'm suprised American taxes haven't been raised. They have been fighting two very expensive wars for quite some time.

Democrats have controlled the House and Senate since 2007. That's why. The bottom 40 percent of wage earners in America pay NO federal income tax. You can guess which party the majority of them vote for...

Interesing. But didnt the wars start in 2002? Why werent the taxes raised in the period between '02 and '07?
