Can’t wait until the House cuts off the $$ spigot to that country. Let Germany and Poland take the lead, definitely can and should do more.

Lol that's not going to happen.

Lol that's not going to happen.

How? They’ll twist McCarthy’s arm? Threaten him? Good luck with that. Lol

-10 ( +8 / -18 )

How? They’ll twist McCarthy’s arm?

Yes, because McCarthy is that powerful lol How many votes is it to trigger a no confidence vote now, one or 5? No, last fall dozens of Republicans voted in favor of assisting Ukraine, and I doubt those numbers suddenly changed.

That’s what the left and Biden hope.

the Biden administration is set to approve sending M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine in a decision that could be announced as soon as Wednesday, though it could take months or years for the tanks to be delivered.

So not really

0 ( +6 / -6 )

THe UA government reacted quickly and fired the minister.

5 ( +14 / -9 )

Bring on the Abrams tanks, as well as the Polish and German Panzers. More tactical headaches for the ill-disciplined, poorly trained and unwilling to fight invaders.

Ukraine has friends, unlike Russia.

1 ( +13 / -12 )

That’s what the left and Biden hope.

And also what the majority of Congress wanted last time it was put up for vote.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

. It could risk sinking what has been bipartisan popular and political support for Ukraine from the United States.

Is this still true at this time?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

“We welcome the quick action that President Zelenskyy is taking in this case

Good thing they view it that way

Somebody posts a link to newsmax as a credible source of information. Lol.

12 ( +17 / -5 )

The U.S. announcement is expected in coordination with Germany stating that it will approve Poland’s request to transfer German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, according to one official. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision has not yet been made public.

This is good news indeed!

2 ( +9 / -7 )

How? They’ll twist McCarthy’s arm? Threaten him? Good luck with that. Lol

Bakersfield Kev almost doesn't matter on this. There are more than enough member of the Repubelicken Caucsucus who hate the Russians and want to see them beaten who will support Ukraine. Not every Repube looks to the Kremlin for their inspiration. The US Senate is uniformly in favor of supporting Ukraine. Bakersfield Kev won't have the votes to do anything but support Ukraine as the US is now.

Can’t wait until the House cuts off the $ spigot to that country.

Won't happen.

Let Germany and Poland take the lead, definitely can and should do more.

Sure. On a per capita basis, Europe is already spending way more than the US on Ukraine.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

Won't happen.

Let me guess, Biden will threaten McCarthy?

Sure. On a per capita basis, Europe is already spending way more than the US on Ukraine.

Great, they should even more, in fact, have everyone in Europe or even ask China to help.

-12 ( +6 / -18 )

Let me guess, Biden will threaten McCarthy?

We've already explained, he doesn't have the votes to stop it.

Great, they should even more, in fact, have everyone in Europe or even ask China to help.

Why?

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Send those bad boys!

0 ( +5 / -5 )

So is zelensky clean?

7 ( +9 / -2 )

We've already explained, he doesn't have the votes to stop it.

Won’t pass, but the Dems can try.

Why?

Huh? Rhetorical question?

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

Can’t wait until the House cuts off the $ spigot to that country

Another countdown? I thought it was a priority and would happen on day one. What are they doing instead?

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Hold the line.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

Can’t wait until the House cuts off the $ spigot to that country

There aren't enough russophile trolls in the US House of Representatives to cut aid to Ukraine, and the US Senate won't have any part of it. Any bill would have to survive conference with the Senate and they are not going to allow aid to Ukraine to be stopped. That is the political reality.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

“Only ___ days until, oh wait, just wait a little longer, it’s coming, just you wait and see”

5 ( +8 / -3 )

So is zelensky clean?

No.

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

Michael Machida

Send those bad boys!

Breaking news, the US has just agreed to send Abrams tanks. I guess that this is just symbolic, but it paves the way for Germany sending Leopard 2s, considering that any backlash from Russia will likely mainly be directed at the US. (I doubt that this is a real concern, but is Olaf Scholz's main concern.)

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Won’t pass, but the Dems can try.

Lol again, dozens of Republicans voted in favor of aiding Ukraine, and the GOP has majority smaller than that, so it will pass.

Huh? Rhetorical question?

No, why should the world help but not the US?

5 ( +9 / -4 )

I'm surprised no one seems surprised by the corruption, and no one seems to mind too.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Leopard2 tanks have already been spotted in southern Ukraine. Just waiting for the Germans to OK their use.

Instead of prolonging the conflict they should be pushing for a realistic settlement.

-7 ( +7 / -14 )

I'm surprised no one seems surprised by the corruption, and no one seems to mind too.

When it comes to Ukraine the West’s denial and suspension of reality is at pathological levels.

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

Mr Kipling

Leopard2 tanks have already been spotted in southern Ukraine. Just waiting for the Germans to OK their use.

Instead of prolonging the conflict they should be pushing for a realistic settlement.

Agreed. Sending arms to Ukraine is the fastest path to peace. Because unless Putin leaves Ukraine, there is be no peace for decades.

2 ( +11 / -9 )

Tanks must be really important if they required zelensky to sacrifice his best people and zelensky actually obliged

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Lol again, dozens of Republicans voted in favor of aiding Ukraine, and the GOP has majority smaller than that, so it will pass.

Hardly…

https://www.axios.com/2022/11/05/marjorie-taylor-greene-ukraine-aid-republicans

No, why should the world help but not the US?

Again, rhetorical question????

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

"Under Republicans, not another penny will go to Ukraine," Greene said at a Trump rally in Iowa. "Our country comes first."

But the House is under Republicans and US money and tanks are still going to Ukraine. So, she’s wrong, as usual.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

The west and NATO better move real fast in arming Ukraine, Russia will NOT be stop for as long as it thinks it can attack.

""We maintain the PEACE through our strength; weakness only invites aggression"". R. Reagan

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Maybe they should replace zelensky. Surely they don't believe all those people are corrupt and zelensky isn't.

It's unthinkable that zelensky doesn't know of the corruption and if he knows, it's unthinkable he's not involved.

It's out in the open now it can't be swept under the rug

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

I'm surprised no one seems surprised by the corruption, and no one seems to mind too.

The article says Zelenski was elected on an anti-corruption platform. Now he is finding corruption. So it was expected to be found, and it's being found, why would people have a problem with exposing and dealing with corruption? Are you trying to say it should stay hidden or something?

5 ( +10 / -5 )

But the House is under Republicans and US money and tanks are still going to Ukraine. So, she’s wrong, as usual

We shall see in the upcoming session.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

--dozens of Republicans voted in favor of aiding Ukraine, and the GOP has majority smaller than that, so it will pass.

Hardly…

https://www.axios.com/2022/11/05/marjorie-taylor-greene-ukraine-aid-republicans

There are way more Republicans who disagree with MTG than agree. McCarthy is powerless to stop the aid to Ukraine. And he is powerless to stop MTG and her friends from barking and barking. He’ll go down as one of the least effective House speakers ever.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

It doesn't matter what Bakersfield Kev does or does not do. The US Senate is not going to cut off aid to Ukraine. Any attempt to do so is dead in the Senate.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Ukraine AND Russia have similar corruption issues. People often pay to get a job, then pay more every month to keep it. Had a long talk with immigrant neighbors from both Russia and Ukraine about this. Both had to pay to have jobs in their countries. The husband/ wife from Ukraine/Russia had slightly different stories, but the corruption seemed to be the same to me.

All four people were happy to be in America where corruption of that sort only seems to happen in NYC. https://www.nytimes.com/1982/04/25/nyregion/corruption-is-called-a-way-of-life-in-new-york-construction-industry.html NYC cabs, but lots of other pay-to-work jobs exist there, it seems.

Keep shining a light on corruption everywhere in the world and put everyone in jail caught. That's the only way.

The people fighting Russia directly need support, equipment, and ammo to keep fighting. The democratic world needs to support them.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Corruption that high up and extensive won't be settling for small potatoes, I hope they'll come up with an estimate soon of how much was stolen and what.

And hold everyone involved accountable.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

I find it interesting that Oleksiy Arestovich one of Zelensky's top advisors forced to resign after saying the missile the hit the apartment buildings was shot down.

Is now in hiding giving interviews left and right but most of not all western media are ignoring.

He has said

“Now I am an unofficial person, I can say what I want. If people think that we will definitely win the war, I want to say that it is very unlikely. Since January 14, it is no longer like that. Do you think that the statement made by the Polish president “Was Duda – that it is not known whether Ukraine will survive as a country – just talk in the wind? Or was he talking about it based on information?”,

In other interviews he stated Zelensky has alienated ethnic Russians with attacks on the church, language etc...and pointed out corruption was in everything.

But if you look all you find is CNN ABC MSNBC etc...still only saying he resigned an apologised but not everything he is now saying including the information on corruption.

So it is an interesting coincidence that Oleksiy Arestovich starts talking after resigning pointing out corruption and suddenly people are being investigated!

-6 ( +7 / -13 )

Leopards are on their way to Ukraine - GREAT!

Abrams will foolow soon, together with Leclers, Challengers and others!

This will provide Ukraine with quite some fire-power to liberate all occupied areas.

More military hardware has to be provided to ensure that PUTAin and associates won't even give it a try again to invade a sovereign country!

Ukraine prevails!

-1 ( +10 / -11 )

The German Leopards are very impressive tanks.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

i have been talking about this corruption since almost day 1.

not surprised in the least.

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

"On January 17, Arestovich apologized for his remarks. “I made a serious mistake on the air. No matter the reason, the viewers heard it. I will from now on be stricter with the information I voice. I sincerely apologize to the victims and their relatives, the residents of Dnipro and everyone who was deeply hurt by my prematurely erroneous version of the cause of the Russian missile strike on a residential building,” he wrote on social media."

5 ( +7 / -2 )

i have been talking about this corruption since almost day 1.

Kind of like one's house is on fire and the owner is concerned about peeling wallpaper. Any excuse to justify helping the white nationalists in Russia.

That is really what it is about. A minority of white Americans who somehow see in Russia their ideal of an all white, cough cough, christian nation that suppresses all other minorities. That is their dream for the US. Russia is their ideal and we see it here both spoken and unspoken.

5 ( +10 / -5 )

DT,These were Zelensky, self appointed corrupt official who helped l Zelensky launder money ,no money can voted out of a Republican Committee, unless they vote in the majority

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

The article says Zelenski was elected on an anti-corruption platform.

what year was he elected?

when I questioned giving all this money and weapons to Ukraine and mention corruption I was told it’s all gone under Zelensky and I was making things up.

well, seems I wasn’t.

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

They found corruption and held the responsible parties accountable.

How refreshing.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

I see many new UA victories everywhere.Moskals are crushed and soon Putin will sign capitulation.

or...?

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

With regard to the Western MBT that Ukraine is going to get;

I loved the part where yesterday, the Russians let slip their fears and impotence when they said "if the West delivers tanks, Ukraine will burn."

Well:

A. One notices that they don't even bother threatening the NATO Alliance because that is an empty threat and everyone knows it.

B. Ukraine will burn? Oh dear, what ever will you do? Bomb buildings clearly marked "Children"? Bomb Maternity Hospitals? Invade? Launch indiscriminant attacks on civilians because innocent civilians are the only ones you can beat? Shell a nuclear power plant? Dig up the ground in an exclusion zone? (That's silly. NOBODY would be that stupid. Oh, oops...)

Oh wait, The Russians have done ALL of those things.

So, pound sand, Pooh-tin. The Abrams and the Leopard IIs are on the way and your boys are going to rue the day you let your ego drive your decision making.

After being added to the Myrotvorets enemies hit list.

Now in hiding he has given plenty of interviews in the past few days including retracting his forced retraction.

You like duck duck look them up

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Any excuse to justify helping the white nationalists in Russia.

That is funny. I don't recall Russia making OUN UPA (you know the guys that conducted ethnic cleansing) national heros.

Is Ukrainian outlawed in Russia like Russia is in Ukraine?

I think you are confused of who has the white nationalists.

Was it the Russian assistant prosecutor General that said it was upsetting to see blonde blue eyes European dying? No it was the Ukrainian that did as if blonde and blue eyed people were more important than the rest.

Again you seem confused.

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

Some people do not understand what the word corruption means. Maybe they think about corrosion.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

new UA victory in Ugledar.

time to celebrate again?

or?

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

How? How does helping Ukraine help the average American?

It seems obvious that beating the Russians in Ukraine prevents a wider war in NATO which could very well lead to mass deaths in the US. How hard is this to understand?

Lessons learned from WWII that appeasing a dictator with territorial ambitions does nothing more than invite further invasions. Mr. Putin has been clear for over a decade that in his view, and in the view of the Russkiy Mir ideology, the three Baltic states who are also NATO members now, Belarus, Moldova and Kazakhstan, along with Ukraine are not his his opinion legitimate independent nations but somehow naturally part of Russia. If he conquers Ukraine, he will attack the three Baltic states and then you have the NATO-Russia showdown nobody wants. WWIII maybe. Beat Russia in Ukraine and stop them now. That is how it helps the average American. Unless of course you want the Russians to win? What is it?

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Corruption is being investigated and top officials fired. What’s to complain about?

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Hercolobus

For average UA citizen is corruption part of life. This time under recent government corruption get even new "shades of grey".Gov who steals on food for own soldiers is really not good and must go away. Its inhuman act.

UA citizens knows that country is stolen by gang of bandits or say crooks and its ruled by mix of junta friendly oligarkhs and nationalist/fascists.

This is why many of UA citizens have left country even before this conflict have started.

Corruption in UA is like a cancer and can be cured only by radical measures.Volodymyr have to go.

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

These are the sacrificial lambs.

Oleksiy Arestovich and others are all over the place saying the corruption is rampant.

Republicans are asking where is all the money, Abrams tanks on the lines as more and more reluctance due to corruption.

Oops suddenly after years and years miracle they catch the guys just in time for a vote of the Abrams tanks.

What a great coincidence.

-9 ( +4 / -13 )

They found corruption and held the responsible parties accountable.

Corruption that we were sworn to didn’t exist, and that was a “Kremlin talking point”.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

Of course there is corruption. Corruption is in the blood of every politician in former Soviet Republics. Ukrainian politicians are not saints. Just because their country is being invaded, doesnt meant they cant steal from the people and stack it in their graves. I hate USSR, I hate communism, I hate Stalin, Lenin and Marx. I hope they are still burning in hell and will continue to do so for eternity. They destroyed, corrupted the system. Central Asia and Eastern Europe will wretch in corruption for another good millenia.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Lessons learned from WWII that appeasing a dictator with territorial ambitions does nothing more than invite further invasions.

Lesson from WW2, Rwanda, Boston you have to govina permitting leaders with ethnic cleansing groups as part of their government leads to deaths of women and children even more.

Ukraine made OUN UPA National heroes a group that actively did ethnic cleansing and help the Nazi when it suited them, Ukraine attacks the Russian Orthodox Church, passed anti Russian language laws.

So I guess their are 2 evils going on here.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Can’t wait until the House cuts off the $ spigot to that country. Let Germany and Poland take the lead, definitely can and should do more.

unlikely with just a 4 vote majority, there are still many in the GOP that believe in democracy

How? How does helping Ukraine help the average American? Lol, maybe you can tell us, the WH sure as heck can't and won't.

how does letting Putin annex Ukraine help America and it allies!? do you want Putin to use energy and food as a political blackmail tool, do you think Putin will just stop with Ukraine. Its amazing how balse republicans are when it comes to defending democracy, yes America is still a democratic republic, nearly all state elections are decided by the popular vote. yes I can understand why conservatives being a minority would love to be a dictatorship since winning elections is almost impossible for them without gerrymandering and the electoral college

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Corruption that we were sworn to didn’t exist, and that was a “Kremlin talking point”

agreed, just like the US, look at the last US administration, over 240+ criminal indictments, 4 of whom went to prision.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

unlikely with just a 4 vote majority, there are still many in the GOP that believe in democracy

Yes, that is why McCarthy will have discussions with them and see who he can persuade and if they don't. they will get voted out, that simple.

> how does letting Putin annex Ukraine help America and it allies!? do you want Putin to use energy and food as a political blackmail tool, do you think Putin will just stop with Ukraine. The average American cares what happens in their lives, they could care less about what happens across the pond, it doesn't help them put food on their table, keep them warm at night or lower their gas prices.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Its amazing how balse republicans are when it comes to defending democracy,

They are not defending democracy. They want the kind of government Russia has for America.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Amazing timing and amazing that nearly all are "deputy" this or that.

Zelensky; " look look America we caught the corrupt ones, now give tanks please"

Notice the no charges layed yet.

That will be done if no tank approved.

Then it will be : "look look America we are now prosecuting "

Once they get tanks the production will drag on for years.

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

They are not defending democracy. They want the kind of government Russia has for America.

That would be like saying Democrats are for Capitalism.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

The average American cares what happens in their lives, they could care less about what happens across the pond, it doesn't help them put food on their table, keep them warm at night or lower their gas prices.

and why do you think gas prices went so high after the invasion, American isnt immune to worldwide inflation and food prices, every wonder why wheat prices went so high!?

Just because a minority of Americans dont support democracy doesnt mean the majority want to abandon it and their democratic allies.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Same old story as when Chiang K'ai-shek played with US money while fighting and then losing to Mao in China, then got rewarded with more US support in Taiwan.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

These are unconfirmed reports, but absolutely hysterical if true:

Unconfirmed reports stating that the deputy head of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Timoshenko, fled to Israel, taking with him more than 600 million US dollars. Take this with caution but could also be why Zelensky signed these restrictions on travel.

Now why would a Ukrainian government official go to Israel? Can't imagine why...

And I’m not a military expert or anything, but I tend to suspect that this sort of thing doesn’t bode well for the current state of the Ukrainian war effort.

In the meantime, these related reports are confirmed.

Multiple senior Ukrainian officials were relieved of their duties by the country’s government on Tuesday. The ongoing reshuffle was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in his daily video address and affects officials “on different levels, in ministries and other bodies of central and provincial authority, and law enforcement.”

The government has dismissed deputy defense minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov, deputy social policy minister Vitaly Muzychenko, as well as two deputies of the minister of regional development, Vyacheslav Negoda and Ivan Lukerya.

Shapovalov isn’t just the deputy defense minister, he is in charge of logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If the Ukrats in charge are beginning to take the cheese and run, this tends to imply that they know the Russians are going to launch a large-scale offensive soon.

OH WAIT, UPDATE: The reports of Timoshenko’s flight to Israel are now partially confirmed.

Kirill Timoshenko has resigned as deputy head of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s office, after the head of state pledged to shake up the government. The reshuffle, which the president announced in his daily video address on Tuesday morning, will affect officials “on different levels, in ministries and other bodies of central and provincial authority, and law enforcement.” Timoshenko is the most senior official whose removal from office has been confirmed so far.

Speaking of unconfirmed reports, this one is potentially very big and may explain why the Ukrainian kleptocrats are fleeing the country.

“According to Russian sources, in the next few days, Putin will make an extremely important announcement. Moscow is expected to officially declare the start of a New Patriotic War.”

-4 ( +6 / -10 )

Antique, Zelensky is so insecure and corrupt,he was told by British Intel ,his chief of staff Yermak is a Russian agent,he was summoned to London presented evidence Yermak is a Russian agent,he is Zelensky chief negotiator with naive American official, you know how I being saying Zelensky is corrupt, here for months,if you was a Russian, who better too info from a naive American, with your Ukrainain spy

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

and why do you think gas prices went so high after the invasion, American isnt immune to worldwide inflation and food prices, every wonder why wheat prices went so high!?

So why won't Biden allow us to frack, and tap into our fossil fuels and other sustainable natural resources?

Just because a minority of Americans

Not a minority, people are leaving blue states to escape the chaos of crime, high taxes, and a Stalinist conformist way of life.

dont support democracy doesnt mean the majority want to abandon it and their democratic allies

If that were true then Nancy would still have the gavel.

it doesn't help them put food on their table, keep them warm at night or lower their gas prices.

inflation is coming down and gas prices are averaging 3.30 gallon, thanks president Biden.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

The average American cares what happens in their lives, they could care less about what happens across the pond, it doesn't help them put food on their table, keep them warm at night or lower their gas prices.

This is not only wrong, this this type of analysis borders on the infantile.

And it is not born out as a valid national policy by either WWI or WWII.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

Corruption is being investigated and top officials fired. What’s to complain about?

(a) I was told no corruption existed and (b) who is investigating Zelensky?

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Just because a minority of Americans dont support democracy doesnt mean the majority want to abandon it and their democratic allies.

Latest poll says 38% see the economy as the number one priority for Biden, only 8% see Ukraine as a priority. (Racism was also 8%)

Seems that when asked a non loaded question like what should the government priority be? The answer isn't what Biden and company wanted to hear.

The question always asked was " should America support Ukraine? majority reply Yes.

But if asked should America's economy, food prices, etc..suffer in order to support Ukraine, the reply is very different.

38% want the USA economy to be the priority only 8% actually care about Ukraine.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

This is not only wrong, this this type of analysis borders on the infantile.

No, you are just angry because the liberal narrative is not going the way you want it to.

inflation is coming down and gas prices are averaging 3.30 gallon, thanks president Biden.

So why are taxes and food prices going up and why are people fleeing the highest tax states, people can't even buy eggs...EGGS! Why suffer under the communists when they can live where wokeness dies.

Thanks RDS.

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

Authorities did not announce any criminal charges. There was no immediate explanation.

The most important and “telling” part of the article.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

Wtf,the majority of American could not name two countries that borders Ukraine, those will implicate Zelensky corruption ,if they testify in person too the Congress, Russian have Ukrainain agents, giving GPS Coordinates of Ukraine infrastructure

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

No more need to be said

but you did anyway !

Wtf,the majority of American could not name two countries that borders Ukraine,

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Good job, Ukraine. We all need to make sure we hold people accountable. Also, glad to see the US and Germany among others get stuff done. Teamwork makes the dream work.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Why suffer under the communists when they can live where wokeness dies.

GQP is the party closest to communism if thats what youre looking for, wokeness, just another right wing talking imaginary point to rile up the base. oh you forgot socialism

2 ( +4 / -2 )

@yrral

how about a bit of unbiased commentary ?

you do know that Putin & his cronies all own million dollar mansions & luxury yachts, & wear brand clothing. All the while sending Russia’s men off to die in a war in another country.

I don’t see Putin cleaning out any corrupt officials in the kremlin

5 ( +6 / -1 )

But if asked should America's economy, food prices, etc..suffer in order to support Ukraine, the reply is very different.

Some temporary inflation is, to me, a small price to pay compared to what happens if the Russians are not stopped in Ukraine. See Ukraine cities. That is what the rest of Europe and maybe some US cities are going to look like if the Russians are not stopped in Ukraine.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

If that were true then Nancy would still have the gavel.

same could be said for that 10 seat senate majority the red wave that never happened.

extremism will kill the GOP in the end

1 ( +3 / -2 )

same could be said for that 10 seat senate majority the red wave that never happened.

That has nothing to do with the purse, when kids need money, where do they get it from when they want to buy something? Mommy and daddy. Kevin is daddy. Biden is the kid that needs to get some change. That in itself is a tsunami.

extremism will kill the GOP in the end

If it didn't kill the Democrats, it won't kill the GOP

Some temporary inflation is, to me, a small price to pay

Tell that to the people that have had enough, this is why Nancy lost her gavel, that comment right there all the more makes me feel good and justified to snatch that gavel from Nancy.

compared to what happens if the Russians are not stopped in Ukraine. See Ukraine cities. That is what the rest of Europe and maybe some US cities are going to look like if the Russians are not stopped in Ukraine.

Been to Detroit, Philly, Oakland, and Baltimore recently?

That would be like saying Democrats are for Capitalism.

democrats are for capitalism, democratic administrations on average produce more jobs and have higher GDP growth compared to republican admins, these are the fact.

https://www.thebalancemoney.com/democrats-vs-republicans-which-is-better-for-the-economy-4771839

also to add 10 of the last 11 recessions have been under a republican president, lets not forget

a quarter on the national debt 7.8trillion was added under Trump in just 4yrs, party of fiscal responsibility LOL

No, there is not a single massive entitlement that the GOP support.

if thats what youre looking for, wokeness,

No, that would be gender, race, equity, CRT, appeasement and capitulation issues.

> just another right wing talking imaginary point to rile up the base. oh you forgot socialism.

If what you say is true, Nancy would still command her majority.

38% want the USA economy to be the priority only 8% actually care about Ukraine.

Only 8% of Americans care about Ukraine? Complete and utter nonsense.

dont see any Ukraine listed. Oh that’s because:

“Issues with mentions from less than 3% of U.S. adults are not shown.”

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

At one time it was a whole 9% though!

After Russia invaded Ukraine in late February, Americans’ mentions of Russia as the top U.S. problem jumped from 2% to 9% in March.

Although the war continues, mentions of it as the most important problem dropped to 5% in April, and it has not been named by more than 1% of Americans in the latter half of 2022.

less than 1% yet we are still sending 70 billion to a country ripe with corruption.

democrats are for capitalism

Wrong.

, democratic administrations on average produce more jobs and have higher GDP growth compared to republican admins, these are the fact.

Government jobs that's true. Doesn't help the economy grow though.

also to add 10 of the last 11 recessions have been under a republican president, lets not forget

Do you mean that was overseen by Chris Dodd and Barney Frank?

a quarter on the national debt 7.8trillion was added under Trump in just 4yrs, party of fiscal responsibility LOL

Because of Covid and building up our military, so yes.

“Issues with mentions from less than 3% of U.S. adults are not shown.”

That the conflict is not the "top" priority, doesn't mean that A) it's not important for many Americans, B) doesn't mean they "don't care," and C) doesn't mean we should stop supporting them.

The US will keep supporting Ukraine, so keep complaining.

I don't know, but my guess is long after Russia realizes UA is one big graveyard for soldiers sent. They can go home any day now.

If you had chance to ask any UA citizen you may different reply anyway...

About 2nd comment-you must be very naive or depended on side side propaganda. You have no idea what does war means...I do.

What corruption?

I was assured by all of you that was just a Kremlin talking point every time I brought it up. You could at least apologize for being wrong before deflecting.

I was assured by all of you that was just a Kremlin talking point every time I brought it up. You could at least apologize for being wrong before deflecting.

I've never, ever said there was no corruption in Ukraine. I've been very clear that corruption is a problem there, and will continue to be so long as Russia continues to wield power there.

There's no denying that Russia is even more corrupt, and doing nothing for Ukraine would mean reintegrating Ukraine into it's corrupt system of oligarchy. Integration into the west means less corruption.

I've never, ever said there was no corruption in Ukraine

thanks!

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

There's no denying that Russia is even more corrupt,

Yet US taxpayers aren’t sending them 70 billion dollars so who cares?

so long as Russia continues to wield power there.

so Russia is responsible for Zelensky administration corruption? What “power” does Russia “wield” in Ukraine? Ukraine is winning! Right?

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Yet US taxpayers aren’t sending them 70 billion dollars so who cares?

Again, they're not being sent cash, and if one really cares about corruption, one should take actions that actually root out corruption. Do nothing, as you suggest, wouldn't actually do anything to curtail corruption.

so Russia is responsible for Zelensky administration corruption? What “power” does Russia “wield” in Ukraine? Ukraine is winning! Right?

Business power, that's what. Some of the most corrupt politicians in Ukraine all have connections to Russia. Ask yourself why that may be.

> how about a bit of unbiased commentary ?

> you do know that Putin & his cronies all own million dollar mansions & luxury yachts, & wear brand clothing. All the while sending Russia’s men off to die in a war in another country.

> I don’t see Putin cleaning out any corrupt officials in the kremlin

I didn't know Putin was asking billions in aid from the USA and western countries?!

Now we know Putin a d company are corrupt, but again they are not getting free money for the USA and western countries. So what is the point of saying it?

We are giving money to Ukrane and Ukraine is corrupt.

Notice how all this came as Oleksiy Arestovich is now talking freely and the Abrams tanks are being held up!

Notice mostly "deputy" XYZ are resigning?

Notice no charges!

Not a single close ally of Zelensky all secondary people.

How convenient.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

now we have a whole article about it and the deniers lamely claiming “citation!”. You know what was said and by whom.

The only thing I know is I personally have never claimed corruption isn't a problem in Ukraine.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

But but it’s just “suspected” corruption!

Russia is corrupt too! Yes it is.

The USA is corrupt too! Yes, it is under Biden, we see more and more every day.

all irrelevant. The place our taxpayer money went actually funded vacation, shopping, cars and mansions for corrupt Zelensky officials and likely Zelensky himself.

cut off the money flow, immediately until Is is resolved and non corrupt leadership is confirmed.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

I didn't know Putin was asking billions in aid from the USA and western countries?!

No, he's begging North Korea and Iran.
