Maybe Kim can drain the swamp ?

I'm much more worried about Donald Trump starting a nuclear war than N.K. starting one.

Recognize that the unbelievable rate of missile advancement in North Korea is probably heavily tied to support from Putin's Russia. Putin wins over China and the US by his support in helping North Korea advance their missile technology.

So, Bintaro; I understand you are calling for a nuclear strike on the capital of my country of citizenship?

DT wants to fire Tillerson for being too soft on NK.

Obama talking with China.

DT better start his war fast... /sarcasm

I guess it's in the interests of parity? Given that there's plenty of calls for nuclear strikes on the DPRK.

Nobody really wants anywhere nuked, fwiw. At least, I seriously hope they don't.

The propaganda apparatus needs dismantling in both rogue states, though. So the people can be free of tyranny and warmongering.

@Tokyo-Engr

Hmmm... I'm not calling for anything ! I'm just saying the possibility is there, if you want to ask him ! : )

Yes NK has the technical ability to hit the US or Europe. My two sons in the US military say we will carpet bomb NK soon and it will not be pretty for NK or Asia.  My suggestion is to get your assets out now if you have any invested in those markets.

Smoke and mirrors. Both sides know that Kim will not use any of this. But is playing the propaganda card well. Meanwhile, while the low-information crowd and CNN are focussed on the PR nonsense on the surface, Trump is working out a deal with the Chinese to put a damper on NK.

I've got bad news for you: Where I grew up in America people routinely called for various places in the world to be nuked. Soon after 2001 the words "glass parking lot in the Middle East" got bandied about so much, you might have mistaken them for punctuation in our local dialect.

WilliB: Trump is working out a deal with the Chinese to put a damper on NK.

Can you tell him to hurry it up? Because ever since Trump took office NK has greatly expanded the number of missile launches. Maybe that's just all part of Trump's plan or something, I dunno.

Hold on. I don't understand the logic of that at all. You are saying that Putin wins over not just China, but the U.S, by helping North Korea to improve their missiles? Why? Because it gives the U.S an excuse at some point to invade? pre-emptive strike? If that's the case why hasn't the U.S done it already, since Putin has won them over by getting N.K to stir up enough trouble.

Also, not entirely convinced China is happy about the present situation. They certainly don't want U.S troops at the border and I doubt they want a war with the U.S over this issue potentially causing a complete major loss of life and economic meltdown. China's actions of late further isolate North Korea. Or is that all part of the game plan as well?

I personally think we are entering a prolonged period of stalemate in which North Korea will continue working on their weapons and the U.S along with much of the world attempts to drive them into the ground in the hope of bringing on an internal rebellion. I think that's the playbook for the U.S going forward. All indications suggest that to me. It puzzles me that they don't carry out other activities, in conjunction with South Korea, to bring about that rebellion. They could do a lot more in the propaganda stakes for a start.

Further, I wonder what would happen if the U.S, South Korea, the E.U, maybe even China, Russia & Japan all came together and formed a fund to help North Koreans escape. Make it obvious they will taken care of.

For the Kim regime, his people are his biggest strength and biggest weakness.

Well, if he's aiming at Washington he's less likely to hit me in Sendai, so there is some comfort there.

I’m sure his Generals will know the proper place and time to launch an assault, you guys need to decide, either you’re worried about him building up his nuclear arsenal, or you want the president to launch a preemptive strike. Personally, I’m for the latter.

Tillerson may be fired anytime now. Moslems countries fought with USA, UK and Europe are all mad at Trump because Trump distributed phony pic of Moslllem brutality mentioning these countries are under attack by moslemm brutality. WH spokes lady said picture may be phony but Story is true that Moslems are attacking everywhere. NK is not hated now.

I doubt it. But if it is true, I do not mind. It will get only worse if you do not do anything. If you wait too long, it may become too late to become free from living under constant fear of nuclear strikes.

The reputation of the US Military has been somewhat tarnished by their Antics in the waters around Japan. I hope that this isn't endemic throughout the US forces, otherwise Mr K. may think he has the upper hand.

Trump doesn't have the balls to Nuke anyone. He's all talk and no action... right ?
