I'd like to think this is good news, but instead I worry even more thinking about what Kim might actually want...

This could go either way, it could be a show of faith that they are only going to make reasonable demands. Or it could mean that what they will be demanding in the summit will be far, far more exacting

They have already told SKorea they will denuclarize if they can be taken off economic sanctions and fall under some type of security umbrella.

So are liberals ok with this? Or does Kim have to be punished in some way for what he has done? I think most of you were so busy saying "Trump is an orange dotard!" and it will never happen, that you arent prepared to think about this yet?

I am wondering the South Korean President Moon Jae-in, if he is qualified being head of a state! His game with K.J. or his approach to North Korea is a very dangerous one to his own and his people! It seems he is in a great fantasy!

China ain’t gonna be happy about keeping the US troops part.

The question is how do we get them to give up their nukes.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, isn't asking for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the Korean Peninsula as a precondition for abandoning his nuclear weapons.

We'll see what he actually demands at the Summit....that is, if the meeting actually happens.

Interesting, if true, that Kim won't ask for U.S. troop withdrawal. Maybe Trump privately said to him that he intends to withdraw the troops anyway......and reassign them along the U.S. - Mexico border.

So Kim may get what he wanted all along without having to ask for it.

Kim Jong Un should look at Vietnam and Iraq and Libya before giving up his nuclear program. As far as assurances from the US, didn't the US sign an agreement with Iran which it now wants to negate?  If Jong Un gives up his nuclear program he can plan to be disposed by the US and a puppet US ruler installed. Bases will then be established in . China must be very careful.
