So in the past week we've had once in a 500-year flooding event in the US, 27C temperatures in the arctic, the strongest ever recorded cyclone in the Bay of Bengal and this once in a decade storm in Western Australia.

While the COVID-19 have been dominating the headlines the existential climate crisis continues on its way.

It's been a hairy day or so. Dust storms in the north of the state and the rain and high winds here in Perth and surrounding areas. Even the lowest parts of the state were recording 130 kmh winds. We'll continue to have some strong wind gusts and rain over the coming days too. However, when you'e living here, you never really say no to rain.

I hope the vineyards haven't suffered too much, there are some very nice wines coming out of that area.
