In cities across Europe, officials are wrestling with a choice as energy prices have gone up because of Russia's war in Ukraine

What utter, complete BS. Does anyone really believe this crap or is the "free press" merely taking us for idiots? Energy prices have gone up because of the sanctions imposed on Russia and because the unprecedented act of state terrorism and environmental arson in blowing up 3 or 4 pipelines under the Baltic Sea. The 4th was wired with explosives but didn't detonate.

Lol yeah, because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

and because the unprecedented act of state terrorism and environmental arson in blowing up 3 or 4 pipelines under the Baltic Sea. The 4th was wired with explosives but didn't detonate.

Unprecedented? Lol What do you mean "unprecedented?" Russian has been engaged in state terrorism in Ukraine since the end of February.

Also, natural gas prices were higher even before the Nordstream pipelines were blown up.
