The 'law enforcement' personnel who selectively enforce laws based on their personal politics probably have good healthcare plans and a benefit package that covers lost income from sickness.

Trump's the divider-in-chief, a male with zero regard for those not covered by a decent healthcare program. Didn't Trump promise his healthcare plan was going to be better than President Obama's? Given that Obamacare was not that good, you'd think it would have been easy to come up with a better one. hmmm LOL SMH

I have a feeling police in some areas will play a different tune when it comes to people of color not wearing masks as mandated. But maybe that's just my pessimism.

Result of the idiot-in-chief having turned a purely medical issue into a political one, failure to recognize and respect science and the inability to lead by example.

The Sheriff of Merced County was among those refusing to enforce a mask requirement. To quote him directly from Facebook in mid May 2020:

"I truly believe that Governor Newsom's motivation is to have the majority of the citizens (and illegal residents) dependant [sic] on governments assistance so he could maintain this control once this 'pandemic' is declared over," 

Then cases quadrupled in one month, June, in his county and he changed his tune. By the end of June he was saying:

"Wear your masks, do your social distancing, wash your hands. ... Please take it seriously."

The sheriffs who refuse to enforce mask requirements are not doing their counties any good. They only serve to exacerbate that problem. Leadership has to come from the top and that includes a county's top cop.

You'll notice he has no trouble with a CORPORATION demanding he comply with something, but when a government tells him something is required for the general good of society, his reaction is HOW DARE THEY.

Police cant arrest someone throwing explosives at a building and assaulting police but should arrest and fine someone for not wearing a mask. Makes total sense, right?

meanwhile riots and dance parties in the streets, maskless and closer to strangers than that guy is to his own wife.

Masks need to complimented with eye protection otherwise a total waste of time. And worn properly and replaced every hour.

Please observe our "expert" Dr. Fauci, maskless in public. no social distancing.

There are other pics where the woman next to him took off her mask too and where Fauci is maskless, holding a phone. Fauci says he was just temporarily drinking water.

I really don'T think masks provide much additional protection from the virus. If you look at possibly the worse case scenario, think of the cruise ship Diamond Princess. Remember, it was stuck in Yokohama back in the spring? Well, after a month together the total infection rate on the ship was less than 20%. Total deaths were 14 people, out of nearly 4,000 on board. That tells you how dangerous the 'rona is.
