And where's the climate faction now outcrying, when their buddy and brother in arms burns fossils per rockets and massively pollutes atmosphere and the sea every few weeks?

N Korea fires two missiles

On the second day of Christmas, Kimmy gave to me.

Two expensive rockets in the sea.

I wonder where he sends his children to school or university.

he get his education in Switzerland, so most probably his kids will be going there too

Just wasting money and dropping it into the sea. I bet one day, if the Japan Sea were to dry up, we'd find nothing but rocket fuselages on the ocean floor. Millions of dollars wasted.

Imagine if each rocket launched equaled the price of a park or a university campus building. Lil Kim could have built technology campuses all across his country.

At this point, I think North Korea will truly fail. If you aren't preparing the next generation, then 40 or 50 years later his society and economy will fail.

I wonder where he sends his children to school or university.

In a resumption of the Korean War casualties are expected to be on the order of 100,000 per hour, per hour, on the first day as North Korean artillery levels high rise office and apartment/condo towers before residents can escape to the south

if this is the case, even NK only ally - china will keep very far distance from him and dare not support even a single bullet. Kim is not stupid and he shall be well aware of the consequences if china is not by his side. Nowadays war is not like WWII, try just bomb a tiny apartment with 100 civilians inside, tomorrow you are in the worldwide headlines and emergency UN meeting will be hold specially for you. International pressure will force china to back down and watch kim dynasty vanish to the ash before he can even launch second attack

Important information missing from this story is that these "tests" were a response to US and South Korea agreeing over the weekend to carry out war games this summer. Chicken or egg?

“Any attempt by the hostile forces to use armed force against (North Korea) will face a preemptive and deadly counteraction.”

Best response: -yawn-

Isn't it time to start testing the 3 ABMD japan has out yet? I am sure with all the testing Russia has done against the missile defense systems in Ukraine there isn't any new info NK could get from having their missiles expunged. Might also be good practice for Japanese coast guard and make sure it works, also they could use up some of the older ordinance before they go bad...

What are the 3 ABMD?

If you are talking about shooting down DPRK's test assets with SM-3s that would probably be an act of war. Imagine if a Russian or Chinese warship shot down a missile during a test on the Pacific Missile Range?

Last, SM-3 and Aegis have not been employed in Ukraine so the Russians have not seen the actual Aegis kill chain used in anger. Better to keep some surprises than use it on something nonsensical like a test of a short range missile and hand them all kinds of good ELINT and SIGINT for free, along with giving them a look at the actual kill chain. Sometimes it is just better not to react. Collect all the data you can from their test and keep a low profile.

rocketman, it is modern warfare era. your toys is nothing in the eye of F35. or maybe just dozen of F15 are already more than enough to make your toys vanish within minutes.

Stifle the bravado. Half the South Korean population lives within artillery range of North Korea, packed into high rise housing holding upwards of 50,000 souls in some developments crowded around Seoul and Inchon. In a resumption of the Korean War casualties are expected to be on the order of 100,000 per hour, per hour, on the first day as North Korean artillery levels high rise office and apartment/condo towers before residents can escape to the south. Millions will die. If you ever wonder why the US and ROK do not retaliate for some of the outrages committed by the North, this is the reason. Nobody wants to subject the people of the south to that kind of horror. So ROK and US forces figuratively bite their lip and keep their gunpowder dry. DPRK won't last forever. Deterrence and patience are key.

Tantrum from Lil' Kim. Reads like a 2 yr old throwing a toy because he needs a nap or a diaper change.

South Korea, the U.S. and Japan strongly condemned the launch, viewing it as an attempt by the North to improve its missile technology as well as establish a space-based surveillance system.

BS!, nobody condemned NK!

NK has the right to improve its technology like everybody else.

Japanese technology has been stuck to the FAX era and corruption system era.

Somebody not been getting enough attention again. Time to throw some toys out of the pram.

Given the crap quality of DORK ammo as evidenced by the exploding gun barrels of Russian artillery, for all we know they could have been aiming at S. Korea and just flat-out missed.

Yup, here we go again.

Just watching that on NHK.
