High vaccination rate and mandatory mask did not prevent anything. Korea had up to 400000 infections a day . The

Hoping Japan moves on as well. Last couple of weeks, I've stopped wearing masks in shopping centers, conbinis, etc. It was a bit nerve racking at first, but no one seems to have a problem with it. And I'm usually by myself, not in a group talking out loud. For the record, I'm trippled vaxxed and I take other precautionary measures such as temp checks.

While that may be true, it only holds if one is living in the outdoors away from all civilization. You can be "outside" without a mask, but you will encounter other people, you may want to enter a store, bus or train. So you're going to have to carry a mask with you regardless.

The South Koreans would rather wear masks than vaccinate .
Japan didn't need a mask mandate but why bother comparing Japan to South Korea anyway.

I stopped wearing a mask anywhere many weeks ago, except my job because they demand it, unfortunately.
It's horrifically ridiculous.
