Pandemic disaster: under Trump's watch.
'Confused'. Once again Trump's showing his inability to differentiate running a real estate corporation from a nation. Enroute to bankrupting the country, like he did six other companies. Including a casino!
Desert Tortoise
Time worn sales tactic called bait and switch. Mr. Trump is a con man to the core. 12 states have already exhausted their unemployment funds and requested loans from the Federal Government just to continue paying their normal state unemployment insurance payments. Other states are soon to join their ranks as they also deplete their unemployment trust funds. Never believe anything Mr. Trump says. Read the fine print.

Imagine being on the White House staff and having to parse Trump’s word salad into actual, workable policy. No wonder only cranks, sycophants, and relatives are remaining.

No, the problem is, benefits will go through, but the Dems want another Trillion for what? The Dems are holding money and continue to hold out, they don't want to negotiate with the Republicans, it's either all or nothing with them. The Democrat proposal is spending money for pet programs that have nothing to do with the Coronavirus. Why hold up money for State and local government and for education? The Democrats are not just confused, they just could care less.

Oh my...

Wait.... so the House passes their version of the bill weeks ago, at a price tag of $3 trillion.
The Republican-led Senate doesn't even hold a vote on their $1 trillion level deal. Instead, they foist off 'negotiations' on Mnuchin and Meadows. M&M go to 'negotiate,' where the House Dems say "Okay, you want $1, we want $3. How about we go down to $2 trillion and work from there on the details?"
M&M promptly walk without any counter proposal or negotiation or compromise on their terms. Yet it's the Dems who don't want to negotiate and are all or nothing?
Ridiculous.

And here’s why...
Now it all makes perfect sense.
Dozens of House Democrats called on congressional leaders Friday to make sure that the next coronavirus relief bill bankrolls stimulus checks for taxpaying undocumented immigrants after millions of them — including nearly 200,000 New Yorkers — were excluded from the first round.
In a letter to the four top Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill, the 34 House members said it was “unfortunate” that the $2 trillion stimulus plan signed into law in March barred people who use so-called Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers from receiving the $1,200 checks that most workers got.
ITINs are primarily used by undocumented immigrants who file taxes, and the letter said it’s unconscionable to deprive them of aid again — especially since many of them are “essential workers who risk their own lives.”
So once again Democrats first priority is always illegal aliens.

so yes, there will be no negotiations on paying illegal immigrants or spending money for universal mail in balloting or for bailing out Dem cities who need to rebuild what Antifa destroyed.
The people get their money by executive order without any of those things that Dems wanted to get by holding the money for the American people hostage.
ulysses
Just like his bankruptcies, trump wants others to pay for his failures.
Bob Fosse
Unless they live in Ohio.
ulysses
So the poor will get less than what the democrats wanted to give, and trump thinks he’s done a great deal.
bass4funk
Ok, so now we know that for Democrats all bets are off if any relief package doesn’t include money for illegals.....yeah, I’d tell them to go pound sand as well. Good job!

A lie told by a serial liar of a President and perpetuated by his unthinking or worse, lying followers.
bass4funk
Not a Lie, because if it were, there wouldn’t be documents supporting that, so the Republicans had every reason to block it and if the Democrats don’t like it....well, too bad.
I’m happy.
Strangerland
Remember when the 'Pubs lost their sh*t because Obama signed an executive order?
If Trump had not signed any executive orders, the output of his entire administration would have been like 15% what it is.

The Dems send their bill to the Senate back in May - two months ago....
It sits in the Senate because Moscow Mitch can get his team on one page - 20 Repub Senators refuse to pass any new bill....they think $600 is too much for you to get each week when you're out of work and the rent is due....
The Repubs and WH realize this would be a disaster for them to not pass anything in an election year, so they force Mnuchin and Meadows to start negotiating - and Moscow Mitch steps back - even though its a Senate responsibility...highlighting the Repubs inability to come together...
The Dems offer to come down to $2 trillion from $3, but the WH boys say its our way or the highway...and refuse to negotiate....
Moscow Mitch says "whatever" and heads out of town to enjoy life at his villa - and with the other Repub Senators...
So Donald is forced to sign several Executive Orders that only prolong the problem....
Governing by Repub - just like with their President, guaranteed to bankrupt you...
Strangerland
And talk about weak. Obama managed to get through Obamacare without any executive orders. Trump can't even lead his people to help out the poor in a pandemic.
Talk about a total lack of ability to lead the people. The only tool he has is executive orders, because he lacks the skill to actually bring anyone together.
Good thing they elected a troll to office, right.
Blacklabel
yep, 276 of them. Including ones like DACA that didnt even benefit any Americans.
Blacklabel
yep, he has the same phone and pen the other guy had.
"so sue me".

Trump's unemployment plan
Trump's unemployment plan is this:
Get America back to work. He got the economy roaring once, he'll do it again.
If Biden's elected, we'll have a major depression. Not to mention defunding of our police.
Strangerland
Trump has almost caught up to that, and hasn't even finished his first term.
But hey, don't let your hypocrisy about incessantly whining about it stop you from talking about how Trump is perfect for signing them.
ulysses
We are already in a major depression, thanks to trump's incompetence.
lincolnman
Hire as many illegal immigrants at Mar-A-Lago and Bedminster as he can...
He didn't do it the first time. 2nd Qtr GDP was the worst on record. Unemployment is at its highest since the Great Depression. The economy is a smoking hole...and Trump owns it...
The Depression has already occurred in 2020 on Trump's watch...
Saying Biden is de-funding the police, is like saying Trump is attending services on Sunday instead of playing golf - in other word, its never happening...get a new lie....
ulysses
Why do trump's followers lie so much???
Trying to emulate their leader?????
Serrano
Putting it simply - we will not bail out Democrat-run states, period.
ulysses
We will bail out all Americans and will not discriminate and segregate!!!!!
ulysses
Human lives have the same value whatever be their race, relief political affiliations.

The Democrats will get Trump re-elected in a landslide at this rate.
Saying Biden is de-funding the police, is like saying Trump is attending services on Sunday instead of playing golf - in other word, its never happening
Yeah, of course Biden doesn't use the word "defunding." He uses words like "redirecting." Anyone who believes that if Biden gets in those who control him won't defund the police have their heads in the sand.
