“There is nothing in this action that reflects prioritizing of one or another government,” the group said in materials released to the media. “To the contrary, we have prioritized reunification of families, equity and justice for women living on both sides of the DMZ and a peaceful solution to the only remaining Cold War division.”

And therein lies the fallacy of this group - by taking no position on which government is more evil, they are essentially saying that they are equivalent, which we all know is completely untrue.

With all the barbaric human rights abuses the nKorean government perpetuates against its own people, and especially females, how can this group say they want to "prioritize equity and justice for women"? I can't believe they are so naïve that they would think Kim Jong Un is going to change his ways based on this march - if they do, then they suffer from either arrogance or stupidity........

The group of about 30 women is to spend several days in North Korea before the march meeting with North Korean women, touring hospitals and factories and holding an international women’s peace symposium

And we see the real reason nK agreed to this - just to use it to offset the recent UN condemnation of its atrocious human rights record - the article is quite correct when it says that some see these marchers being used "...as pawns for the nK propaganda machine."

The North won't care. They may even fire caution shots at some point with no intention to hurt anyone but to show they are not welcome. They will be unautherized, unwelcome border violators.

I am all for peace but I see no way of the hell and misery that is North Korea ending peacefully. At the very least its going to take some surgical assassinations, and more than just putting Kim Frog alone in the ground.

I can only see an event like this as a complete waste of time. However, I hope I am totally wrong of course.

These women should get ready to become North Korean citizens as soon as they cross that border.

I was going to say wow they are going to get in some trouble but since both Korea's approve, you go girls!

Anything to kick the status-quo.

Just zany enough to tickle Kim's fancy. Nothing could go wrong with this, surely.

"“There is nothing in this action that reflects prioritizing of one or another government,”

....so these fools take no position on which of the two governments is preferrable? The democratic South Korea or the lunatic tyranny of the Kim clan in the North? That is all the same to them? Talk about moral relativism gone berserk.

So that N Korea people can have enough kimuchi to warm up and maybe can have electricity in home. Or may be more food and do not have to speculate when Japanese food donation sanction will be over/

Obviously if they were to express such position in the action they wouldn't be able to make their symbolic action. There's no moral relativism to be inferred from that quote.
