Shops have always had the "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy - just add "no mask"

Shops don't want to be known as a spreader of the virus - they'd lose some workers and customers to sickness or death; workers and potential customers wouldn't want to go there; they may even be quarantined and temporarily close

So the last thing they want is an infected individual getting other people infected within their premises - that's business suicide

Can you list the countries where the political leader of the nation does not make political statements? Thanks

Exactly! These people claim that Trump didn't politicize the matter, it was people responding to his "non-political" comments. as if every statement the political leader of the nation makes is not political.

Rubes.

Strangerland

And the basis of that argument is that the political leader of the nation does not make political statements.

Trump's politicizing of the mask issue

Yet elsewhere you will read accusations that it was the Democrats that politicized wearing face masks (periodical publications have issues btw, other entities have problems or matters)

Trump's politicizing of the mask issue is directly attributable to this. In countries where masks were not politicized by the leaders, people almost all are wearing masks in order to contribute back to their society. But in individualistic nations where the people have very little sense of obligation to their community, and their leaders have tried to claim the virus is a political hoax by the other party, the virus is running rampant and issues like this arise.

This doesn't happen with competent leadership and sensible people.

Really? Is this their lawyer’s first day out of law school? It says in the article that one of the women held him down by the hair while the other stabbed him 27 times. That’s not self-defense. C’mon, no jury is THAT gullible. If she’d stabbed him once or twice and then ran, then you might have a case, but if your first thought is self-preservation, you’re not going to stick around long enough to knife somebody over two dozen times and you’re certainly not going to get your sister to hold the guy down while you do it.

I can't even imagine what kind of anger drives someone to do that.

Adult self restraint goes a long way people. Some things are bigger than all of us and require everyone to do their part. Being stubborn about wearing a face mask is immature and self centered. It's not just yourself you are protecting but anyone else who comes close to you. Have a little consideration for others. That is the only way the world is going to beat this pandemic. Cooperate so we all can survive this.

Oh, these women need to be put away for quite a long time. Thankfully 18 is the legal age of "You're considered mature enough to stand trial as an adult".

Bipolar? I have a few relatives who are bipolar... none of them went to this extreme of attempted murder.

There are many different kinds of masks being made so people can still protect themselves and others while making it easier to breathe.

For some people the mask is effectively choking them.

In fact, if you hold cloth over another person's mouth you'd be charged with attempted murder, as you're disrupting their airflow.

Oh good Lord...are we really still pretending this is a thing? You’re not going to smother to death by wearing a mask. Christ, just grow up. People wear masks every day and don’t drop over dead. Seriously.

the women’s court-appointed attorney said the stabbing was self-defense, adding both women suffered from a bipolar disorder.

I was assaulted by a guard in Fukai a couple of months ago. I just turned around and walked away and the business lost my business for ever!

lockdowns and draconian measures cause more harm than SARS-CoV-2 in many countries.

Mentally disturbed young women. They deserve a prison sentence for this.

Sick people. Just wear a mask!
