Each time DSK's face or name appear in the media, dozens of French citizens are disgusted and decide to "not vote" for his party...and at this point, that makes more votes for Sarkozy. He must really love him.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

He drops his pants and blames someone else for forcing him to do so??? This man seems vile and disgusting.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

DSK only has himself to blame.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

This chump has none but himself to blame. If he thinks Diallo was hired to make false rape claims, he should be clear about it. If she is lying, he should clearly say she is lying. He should tell us what words were said exactly, so that we can understand how a maid just walked into his room and consensually gave him a blow. But he doesn't do that. But he blames Sarkozy?

Arrogant SOB's like Strauss-Kahn never blame themselves for anything. With them, its always someone else's fault.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

His public reputation was an upstanding citizen, but behind the scenes he was a sleazy, womanizing(and married) jerk. And he still face up to that.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

This jerk is a pathetic putz, an embarassment to men GLOBALLY!

The guy has no stones what so ever!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Aside from the sleazy stuff, I would like to know how a man who paid no income tax on his $425,000+ IMF salary would be able to run as the head of the Socialist party on a platform of raising income taxes to 75% like Hollande has done. How could he stand before the French people with a straight face and propose socialism for everyone else unless he was a deranged liar? Oh, wait, he is a deranged liar. Poor France, poor Europe, that a man of such low character could rise as high as he did.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

but behind the scenes he was a sleazy, womanizing(and married) jerk.

So? His wife doesn't care obviously. His private life is exactly that. Its no relation to his public life unless it becomes criminal, and it did.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Ah, so he was expecting less of a fallout from sleeping with a maid in New York while on business. He was like a naive lil puppy.

Strauss-Kahn blames Sarkozy for downfall

I had no idea that Sarkozy introduced them.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

skirt chaser DSK - he himself is to be blamed for his downfall not Sarkozy nor any woman.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I do think Sarkozy was behind the NY incident, and I would wager there is also compromising photos, but DSK has no one to blame but himself for his downfall.

It's a shame he couldn't control himself, as an economist - especailly for a leftist, he was actually pretty good....

...unlike the other leftist zebra hoping to seize power.

Perhaps if he could keep it in his trousers and stop sexually harassing women and thinking it is okay, he might have a chance. If there is anyone to blame, it is himself. Personally, I am glad this all came to light when it did so France doesn't suffer under a pig like Italy did.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

"Perhaps if he could keep it in his trousers and stop sexually harassing women and thinking it is okay"

Who has he sexually harassed? Has he been convicted of such a crime?

He is a rich pervert and paid women for sex. That much he hasn't denied.

The NY maid has a track record of lying about rape, so much so - accompanied with other embarrassing evidence, the NY prosecutors threw the case out.

Tristane Bannon brought her charges 9 years after the alleged event because DSK was safely sat in Rykers Island, and at the time, looking set for a lengthy jail sentence in the US before the truth about the accuser vame to light. Yet another money-grubber playing the rape card counting that DSK was about to be swallowed (no pun intended) by the system.

He's a ruined rich man. Even if you despise him you have at least that for comfort.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Is that what you call women who has been attacked by this guy? Money grubbers? Nice.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

He hasn't been charged with anything, despite a Franco-American on the behalf of both incidents.

So you're a woman that has found him guilty. Knee-jerk isn't fact, as much as you desperately desperately want it to be.

He's just a rich pervert that went to prostitutes who exist for these very reasons.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"a Franco-American police investigation " whoops

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I'm a women who finds his attitudes towards women to be sickening. He did have to be found guilty of rape for women to have a reason to think he's a pig. His actions before and after speak volumes.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Well, I don't agree with tmarie's condemnation of him just for her personal interpretation of what is a "sickening" attitutude toward women. Most of the women he has tangoed with are not complaining, and I don't find them sickening either.

But his complete failure to clearly explain himself with regard to the Diallo case speaks volumes, whether the courts are equipped to recognize it or not. I am completely open to the idea that the Diallo case and even the Banon case are abberations in his behavior pattern. But I still have far more reasons to think him guilty of orally raping Diallo than I do to think he was innocent. Remember, it just did not go to trial. He was not declared innocent. The case was dropped for character reasons. That is not proof of innocence. That is proof of the difficulty of winning the case and proof that no lawyer wants to deal with it.

His silence about the details is what makes me think him guilty, because if he even had half an explanation he could have saved his political career. You will note he went into detail about the Banon case without hesitation. But when it comes to Diallo he is very quiet. There is simply no way he can explain what happened without condeming himself or attempting to feed us terribly obvious lies.

You don't find it sickening that a married man flaunts his affairs, pays for sex, paws at anything in a skirt and wanted to be PM? Not exactly a stellar person to be running a country with his moral compass. I generally don't care what people do behind THEIR closed doors but the thing is, he has a habit of hitting on women in places such as work and hotels. Not exactly HIS bedroom, is it? His wife can look the other way, he can pay for sex but when he's treating women like meet outside of the bedroom that is cause for concern. At the end of the day he sees women as his little toys to play with which is sick and frightening.

And good comments on regards to him not talk about what happened. I find it sickening that this women was basically the one put on trial, not him.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"You don't find it sickening that a married man flaunts his affairs, pays for sex"

A huge percentage of married men do this, I'm sorry to break this to you. Not many however do so with their partners knowledge and most likely approval as DSK had from Mme Sinclair. Prostitution is the oldest trade we know of, and it exists for people like DSK.

"paws at anything in a skirt and wanted to be PM?"

That would President try to calm down. And again, every skirt he pawed as you put it would seem to be consensual, apart from the two money-grubbers abusing the system for financial gain I mentioned above.

I'm far more disgusted by people like the maid or the French journalist if the truth be known- it makes it easier for people who have committed rape on a woman to say she is making it up.

He's a ruined rich man, marie. Even if you despise him you have at least that for comfort.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

You don't find it sickening that a married man flaunts his affairs, pays for sex, paws at anything in a skirt and wanted to be PM?

I find these forced interpretations to be sickening. As for wanting to be PM, some of my favorite historical figures had active and varied sex lives. I don't much like it when people try to pigeon hole men into being obedient, downtrodden deniers of their own libidos, sexual imperitaves, and joy of life. In fact, it makes me very angry. I am all for women's liberation. But people don't seem to realize that men need liberating as well.

However, I do think as you do that he is guilty of violent rape and I think that is plenty to condemn him for without bothering with getting into the morality of his personal sex life or anybodiy's feelings about it.

I find it sickening that this women was basically the one put on trial, not him.

Absolute agreement there.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

"I find it sickening that this women was basically the one put on trial, not him."

What Marie finds sickening is that he wasn't found guilty because she is determined that DSK did attack the maid.

The only person who was put on trial may I remind you was DSK. He was removed from a flight, given a perp walk and thrown into Rykers Island gaol in the glare of the media. He had no presumption of innocence. And, for the first few weeks it looked as though the case was clear cut, and that the maid was perhaos telling the truth.

And then the truth came out.

My condolences to the out of control feminists that can't accept this.

What is sickening I'll grant, is that in most western countries you have to be uber-rich like DSK to actually have a bogus rape claim thrown out or even investigated properly. If this had happened to any of us men posting here, we'd still be sat in Rykers Island awaiting sentence.

But I suppose that really isn't likely to happen, as people DSK ware only targeted by people like Diallo because they are stinking rich, oh, and possibly because team Sarkozy had a hand in it.

If you really care about real rape victims you have to disown the fake victims because they detract from those women that have really suffered the actual act.

A huge percentage of married men do this, I'm sorry to break this to you. Not many however do so with their partners knowledge So you've just admitted that no, a huge percentage of men don't do what I said this man does. Hiding an affair (or numerous in this man's case) is not the same as flaunting it. If anyone is a "gold digger" would it not be his wife? She's rather put up with the humiliation and his money than do without.

every skirt he pawed as you put it would seem to be consensual, apart from the two money-grubbers abusing the system for financial gain I mentioned above. I highly doubt that. A man like him usually has a long string of women who could easily come forward and claim sexual harassment but folks like you would label them as money grubbers, dig in their past and find faults that you can judge them by - which is why so few women bother to make complaints even when clearly they have every right to.

Great. He's a ruined man. So is the maid. At least he has the comfort of money and power. She's been basically called a gold digging liar, not to mention a whore by some. Little comfort there.

Nudgen, no problem having a varied sex life. As long as it is consensual and done it private. This guy has a habit of not doing things in private - and consensual is surely questionable. Like I said, I don't care what you do in YOUR bedroom with someone who agrees to whatever, but this guy is well known for being a predator - many women in the media and in various other jobs wouldn't agree to being left alone in a room with his from the reports I've read. That indicates a problem, no?

There is no need to pigeon whole men. There is a need though to make it very clear to some who are dirt bags that their actions are not okay. It also isn't okay to pigeonhole any women who complains as a money grubber, either.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"f anyone is a "gold digger" would it not be his wife? She's rather put up with the humiliation and his money than do without."

She is the heiress to the Rosenberg fortune! You really should learn something about these people before posting such nonsense, it wouldn't surprise me if Ms Sinclair actually attended some of these coke and hooker parties.

If there were other harassment claims, they would have leaped from the riverbed as Bannon did smelling the coin.

Better luck next time.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

In that case, she's dropped even further in my regards to her. I don't need to learn anything about them except he's a pig and she's an idiot to remain married to him.

So you think this guy isn't a sexist pig with a sex issue? You're about the only one I think.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Sorry marie but you have done nothing but level false accusations at the man from the beginning of the thread.

Each time your accusations have been dismissed by the facts you inject another - now he's a "sexist"?

On what do you base this gem? Do you actually know what the word means?

If people are into consensual sex and it doesn't involve kids, animals or dead people - and they keep it out of sight, then I have no problem with it.

Your hatred of DSK is the only driving force behind your cascade of false accusations documented on this thread.

And like I said, I view women that make false rape accusations with the very same contempt I do for a rapist;

And hysterical women that jump on men like DSK with falsehoods simply because he's a rich, French sex-addict do the real rape victims a great injustice.

But he's still ruined, so have a drink to that.

Mad, do you think a man who gropes women, pays for sex and cheats on his wife sees females as equals?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

And there you go again....

"do you think a man who gropes women"

Plural marie? Making things up again? Gee whizz....

"pays for sex and cheats on his wife sees females as equals?"

How can he be cheating on his wife when she knows about it? Or even joining in? Heh, don't be such a prude my dear, I always find swingers amusing.

People paying for sex has happened since the time of dawn. Women also pay man for sex. This isn't about sexism, your last flailing argument.

All you have left is your own hatred of the man, along with your personal convictions he's done things you cannot prove.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Dawn of time. Whoops still early here...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I think you need to look up what cheating means if you think it isn't cheating just because the wife knows...

Don't be a prude? I didn't realise thinking that men who has issues with sexual harassment is being prudish. If a maid if forced to give a blow job she doesn't want to give, would you call her a prude? Your defending of this guy is sickening at best.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"I think you need to look up what cheating means if you think it isn't cheating just because the wife knows..."

Neh? You aren't cheating if your wife is perfectly aware and happy that you're doing so. And like I said, I imagine she's attended some of these sex and drug binges. What are you, like 200 years old living out Victorian fantasises?

" If a maid if forced to give a blow job she doesn't want to give, would you call her a prude?"

Sure marie just make it up because you're desperate to believe it.

The New York police, and the New York prosecutor are against you but what the hell - you're a femenist on a mission.

The only case you have left is your own hatred of the man.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Do you think she's happy to be the laughing stock of France? Perhaps she's happier he's keeping his little paws off her but I don't think she's happy - nor do I think she's aware of it all.

You're accusing me of being 200 years old and Victorian because I think a guy who pays for hookers, has a rep for raping and molesting women... is a pig?

No, I don't think the NYDP agree with you on that. I think the guy managed to get off and so do most others.

I'm a feminist on a mission? If disliking pigs with issues with women makes me one, so be it.

Hatred? Nah. Sympathy. Must be a sad life when you have to pay for women to sleep with you.
