This guy is such a snake.

As soon as he has to explain in detail his version of what happened and attempt to fit it to the facts we know, it his credibility that will sink even lower than Diallo's, and he knows it. That is why he fights tooth and nail to avoid have to explain anything.

Previously he went from diplomatic immunity to "Oh, wait, no. I meant to say consensual sex!" Right. I am very much looking forward to his explanation. I could use a laugh.

But then, he will probably just settle out of court if it comes to that. Like I said, he does not want to explain himself. That is because he can't.

How is sex included under diplomatic immunity unless he was an international spy and he had to seduce the woman.

Would some country please get this guy off the streets?

"But then, he will probably just settle out of court if it comes to that."

Nah, the Dirty old rich Pervert will be fighting the Money Grubber's case for cash, largely because it has already been thrown out once by prosecutors that found evidence to show she has already lied about rape in another instance, and also made a monumentally stupid monitered call to a jailhouse which apprently removed any doubts prosecuters had about her intial testimony.

I've no sympathy for either of them.

evidence to show she has already lied about rape in another instance

It is a world of difference to lie about rape to get a visa (prosecuting no one) and actively going after a specific individual for rape while possessing forensic evidence.

Further, it is not open season to rape liars.

made a monumentally stupid monitered call to a jailhouse which apprently removed any doubts prosecuters had about her intial testimony.

What I find interesting that when the possiblities of such a call are 1) fraud and 2) a affirmation of a desire for revenge, somehow 1 is automatic.

As ever, I find it incredible that side issues outside of the actual event in question play such a role in undertanding the event while one of only two people in the room gets by with a three word explanation, "It was consensual" and is not required to present a full story.

Regardless, if there is a likely story for Strauss-Kahn, I would love to hear it. I bet you can't dream one up.

I've no sympathy for either of them.

Strange. You have no sympathy if one was raped or the other had false charges against him. I wonder what either one did you?

Sorry the normal should have been in italic not quotes...

I don't see how heading the IMF gets you diplomatic immunity. Does this mean the head of the Federal Reserve can commit sex crimes in Europe and declare immunity or any other big pile of money?

Quite a coincidence that an ignorant, immigrant maid would single out a guy with such a long history of questionable sexual behavior of all of the guests at that hotel to accuse of sexual assault. DSK should just beg his wife to open up the vault and pay her off, since she claims to not have a problem with 'the Great Seducer's' extramarital behavior.

It should have been non-existant. Nothing I said hinted it was normal. It is simply world's apart.

Lying is lying, especially when it comes to rape.

Lying for sympathy and lying to frame someone are quite different.

In fact, she still maintains that she was raped in her native country, but by one man rather than a gang rape. Enhancing a story is still lying, but its still world's apart from trying to drag somebody down.

The guy may well be a sexual deviate but seems he was set up and more than one person has an axe to grind with him, some one wants him bad and is persisting in going after him hard.

Could even be whoever is behind getting him is jealous perhaps, maybe strauss khan screwed the wrong girl/wife, either way as some one mentioned earlier seems a hell of coincidence the lying maid and the sexually active old guy come together in such a way.

Some people bounce to a different rhythm that others cant deal with.

"Lying for sympathy and lying to frame someone are quite different."

Rubbish.

Both a for personal gain.

" Enhancing a story is still lying, but its still world's apart from trying to drag somebody down."

Oh it's "enhancing" now is it?

Since she changed her story after her original account, where she suddenly decided to make up a few more rooms before crying rape is what threw the case out. That and the tapped conversation of her talking to her convict boyfriend on a jail phone describing her new meal ticket.

Give me a break she's a grifter, and a poor one at that.

They are both liars only one is a man and the other is a women. Would you buy a used car from either one of them?

Lying is lying, especially when it comes to rape.

I particularly like your defense of that being "normal" particularly when demanding a visa.

Yes he's a dirty old porc, he should have known better so I have no sympathy for him.

Yes she is a known liar, has already been exposed lying about being raped, and her testimony was so incoherent that even the NYC prosecutors had to drop it due to lack of credibility, despite the forensic evidence of at the very least a sexual encounter.

Here now, let me help you staunch the flow from that bleeding heart.

There.

Frankly, I think the pair of them should be sued for wasting police and prsecutors time.
