I went to Chinatown in Kobe the other day, it was practically empty. Some restaurants had sales on food.

The virus has now reached a point where we can't reject all chinese people and hope things will get better. It's already across borders and in many people. Not just Chinese.

Also, the people that were there before the virus and haven't gone anywhere are still the same people.

Ignorance sure is bliss.

You can't fix stupid. Fear and love are the two most powerful human emotions and they are being used by scammers to drive up prices and make huge profits on what are essentially garbage products. I keep seeing crappy dust masks that won't even keep sawdust and drywall sanding dust from entering your nose and mouth being sold as masks to protect people from this virus.

It would be nice if people could just stop and take a moment to think about things before going off the deep end on nothing more than knee jerk reactions and rumours.

When the rest of the world cant rely on the information coming out of China, its no wonder rumours are spreading faster than the disease.

Sounds like the beginning of the Apocalypse.

Again?

I remember the days when ‘the end is nigh’ nutters walked around wearing boards. These days they appear on sites like this with links to YouTube.

Fear is rising, like a tsunami.

Like an earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear...too soon?

Governments (if they wish to govern) have to plan and relay relevant accurate information which has not been done-it is not surprising.

I’m off to Chinatown to have lunch tomorrow though!

Hey now.....locusts are now entering the far western part of China (really)......who knows what’s next?

Isn’t it amazing how intellectually lazy some people are?

And all this time I thought it was just raw stupidity. Well, a lot of power hungry, greedy, evil and dangerous folks are licking their chops thinking of all the sheep they are going to keep collecting in their snares. Perhaps their rights and money have become a burden to them?

I reckon it’s a mixture of raw stupidity and intellectual laziness. Intellectual laziness being a higher percentage of the pie.

Sounds like the beginning of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen: "They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine, plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth." Revelations 6:7-8.
