Loved Silwa since I was a kid, the guy would be exactly what NYC needs, great leader, great man and man of the people without a doubt.

This isn't the 'Warriors' 1979 but if he's better than Rudy Guiliani then yes.

Well, we don’t know that, but there was no one better than Rudy. Were it not for him, NYC would never have turned out to be a great city again, he completely cleaned it up and got rid of the mob, the corrupt cops, cleaned up the subways and homeless and no other mayor after him has done that. Bloomberg a little, but not to the extent that Giuliani did and DeBlasio destroyed 20 years of hard work, so NYC is right back to what it was prior to Rudy stepping in.

Thats the truth. New York was a like a war zone before Giuliani. Rampant crime and corruption. The Charles Bronson Death Wish movies were inspired by it.

Giuliani transformed it. Amazingly.

DeBlasio destroyed 20 years of hard work, so NYC is right back to what it was prior to Rudy stepping in.

Sadly yes.

Could you elaborate on your problems with Giuliano’s term as Mayor?

His analysis of New York is, in some ways, very antiquated and I think a lot of voters see him as a vestige of old New York, with his red beret and I would say racialized understanding of how the city operates, which I don’t think many New Yorkers are interested in right now,

dude, go back to Fordham.. you don’t hear the shots outside your window nearly every night in Flatbush like we do.

Guiliani did good when he was NYC mayor - he even made fun of himself appearing several times on Saturday Night Live. Then he became an old fart (git off mah lawn!) and turned crazy and can't even make fun of himself anymore

He also doesn't like Trump, so he's electable among NYers
